Tatr±ya½ sa½khepattho– evañheta½, bhikkhave, hoti, ya½ may± vutta½ “yo satthari pas±do so na sammaggato akkh±yat²”ti-±di, ta½ evameva hoti. Kasm±? Evar³pe kho, bhikkhave, dhammavinayeti, bhikkhave, evar³pe dhamme ca vinaye ca. Ubhayenapi niyy±nikas±sana½ dasseti. Satthari pas±doti evar³pe s±sane yo satthari pas±do, so sammaggato akkh±yati, bhavadukkhanissaraº±ya sa½vattati.
Tatrim±ni vatth³ni– bhagav± kira vediyakapabbate indas±laguh±ya½ paµivasati. Atheko ul³kasakuºo bhagavati g±ma½ piº¹±ya pavisante upa¹¹hamagga½ anugacchati, nikkhamante upa¹¹hamagga½ paccuggamana½ karoti. So ekadivasa½ samm±sambuddha½ s±yanhasamaye bhikkhusaªghaparivuta½ nisinna½ pabbat± oruyha vanditv± pakkhe paº±metv± añjali½ paggayha s²sa½ heµµh± katv± dasabala½ namassam±no aµµh±si.
