Ida½ dukkhanti nappaj±n±t²ti ida½ dukkha½, ettaka½ dukkha½, ito uddha½ natth²ti dukkhasacca½ y±th±vasarasalakkhaŗato na paj±n±ti. Aya½ dukkhasamudayoti ito dukkha½ samudet²ti pavattidukkhapabh±vik± taŗh± samudayasaccanti y±th±vasarasalakkhaŗato na paj±n±ti. Aya½ dukkhanirodhoti ida½ dukkha½ aya½ dukkhasamudayo ca ida½ n±ma µh±na½ patv± nirujjhat²ti ubhinna½ appavatti nibb±na½ nirodhasaccanti y±th±vasarasalakkhaŗato na paj±n±ti. Aya½ dukkhanirodhag±min² paµipad±ti aya½ paµipad± dukkhanirodha½ gacchat²ti maggasacca½ y±th±vasarasalakkhaŗato na paj±n±t²ti. Anantarav±repi imin±va nayena attho veditabbo. Ayańhi ±cariyasantike catt±ri sacc±ni savanato uggaŗh±ti. Żhapetv± taŗha½ tebh³mak± dhamm± dukkhasacca½, taŗh± samudayasacca½, ubhinna½ appavatti nibb±na½ nirodhasacca½, dukkhasacca½ parij±nanto samudayasacca½ pajahanto nirodhap±pano maggo maggasaccanti eva½ uggahetv± abhinivisati. Tattha purim±ni dve sacc±ni vaµµa½, pacchim±ni vivaµµa½, vaµµe abhiniveso hoti, no vivaµµe, tasm± aya½ abhinivisam±no dukkhasacce abhinivisati.
Dukkhasacca½ n±ma r³p±dayo pańcakkhandh±ti vavatthapetv± dh±tukammaµµh±navasena otaritv±, “catt±ri mah±bh³t±ni catunnańca mah±bh³t±na½ up±d±ya r³pa½ r³pan”ti vavatthapeti. Tad±rammaŗ± vedan± sańń± saŖkh±r± vińń±ŗa½ n±manti eva½ yamakat±lakkhandha½ bhindanto viya “dveva ime dhamm± n±mar³pan”ti vavatthapeti. Samudaya½ pah±napaµivedhena, nirodha½ sacchikiriy±paµivedhena, magga½ bh±van±paµivedhena paµivijjhati. Dukkha½ parińń±bhisamayena abhisameti, samudaya½ pah±n±bhisamayena, nirodha½ sacchikiriy±bhisamayena, magga½ bh±van±bhisamayena abhisameti. So t²ŗi sacc±ni kiccato paµivijjhati, nirodha½ ±rammaŗato. Tasmińcassa khaŗe aha½ dukkha½ parij±n±mi, samudaya½ pajah±mi, nirodha½ sacchikaromi, magga½ bh±vem²ti ±bhogasamann±h±ramanasik±rapaccavekkhaŗ± natthi. Etassa pana pariggaŗhantasseva maggo t²su saccesu parińń±dikicca½ s±dhentova nirodha½ ±rammaŗato paµivijjhat²ti.
Tasm± pańńav±ti vuccat²ti ettha heµµhimakoµiy± sot±panno, uparimakoµiy± kh²ŗ±savo pańńav±ti niddiµµho. Yo pana tepiµaka½ buddhavacana½ p±¼ito ca atthato ca anusandhito ca pubb±parato ca uggahetv± heµµhupariya½ karonto vicarati, aniccadukkh±nattavasena pariggahamattampi natthi, aya½ pańńav± n±ma, duppańńo n±m±ti? Vińń±ŗacarito n±mesa, pańńav±ti na vattabbo. Atha yo tilakkhaŗa½ ±ropetv± vipassan±paµip±µiy± sammasanto ajja ajjeva arahattanti carati, aya½ pańńav± n±ma, duppańńo n±m±ti? Bhaj±piyam±no pańńav±pakkha½ bhajati. Sutte pana paµivedhova kathito.
Vińń±ŗa½ vińń±ŗanti idha ki½ pucchati? Yena vińń±ŗena saŖkh±re sammasitv± esa pańńav± n±ma j±to, tassa ±gamanavipassan± vińń±ŗa½ kammak±rakacitta½ pucch±m²ti pucchati. Sukhantipi vij±n±t²ti sukhavedanampi vij±n±ti. Uparipadadvayepi eseva nayo. Imin± thero “sukha½ vedana½ vedayam±no sukha½ vedana½ veday±m²ti paj±n±t²”ti-±din± (ma. ni. 1.113; d². ni. 2.380) nayena ±gatavedan±vasena ar³pakammaµµh±na½ kathesi. Tassattho satipaµµh±ne vuttanayeneva veditabbo.
