S± tassa gihik±le mahat² ahosi, tenassa mo¼iyaphaggunoti saŖkh± udap±di. Pabbajitampi na½ teneva n±mena sańj±nanti. Ativelanti vela½ atikkamitv±. Mo¼iyaphaggunassa avaŗŗa½ bh±sat²ti natthi imassa bhikkhuno an±patti n±ma. Niccak±la½ imassa pariveŗadv±ra½ asuńńa½ bhikkhun²h²ti aguŗa½ katheti. Adhikaraŗampi karont²ti imesa½ bhikkh³na½ mo¼iyaphaggunattherassa diµµhak±lato paµµh±ya akkh²ni dayhanti. Imasmi½ vih±re ańńesa½ vasanaµµh±na½ oloketumpi na sakk±. Vih±ra½ ±gatabhikkhuniyo ov±da½ v± paµisanth±ra½ v± uddesapada½ v± therameva niss±ya labhanti, kulaputtako lajj² kukkuccako, evar³pa½ n±ma tumhe idańcidańca vadatha, etha vinayadhar±na½ santike vinicchaya½ deth±ti adhikaraŗa½ ±ka¹¹hanti.
So bhikkhu bhagavanta½ etadavoc±ti neva piyakamyat±ya na bhed±dhipp±yena, atthak±mat±ya avoca. Eka½ kirassa ahosi– “imassa bhikkhussa eva½ sa½saµµhassa viharato ayaso uppajjissati. So s±sanass±pi avaŗŗoyeva. Ańńena pana kathito aya½ na oramissati, bhagavat± dhamma½ desetv± ovadito oramissat²”ti tassa atthak±mat±ya bhagavanta½ eta½, “±yasm±, bhante”ti-±divacana½ avoca.
223. ¾manteh²ti j±n±pehi. ¾mantet²ti pakkosati.
224. Saddh±ti saddh±ya. Tasm±ti yasm± tva½ kulaputto ceva saddh±pabbajito ca, yasm± v± te et±hi saddhi½ sa½saµµhassa viharato ye t± akkosissanti v±, paharissanti v±, tesu domanassa½ uppajjissati, sa½sagge pah²ne nuppajjissati, tasm±. Tatr±ti tasmi½ avaŗŗabh±sane. Gehasit±ti pańcak±maguŗanissit±. Chand±ti taŗh±chand±pi paµighachand±pi. Vipariŗatanti rattampi citta½ vipariŗata½. Duµµhampi, m³¼hampi citta½ vipariŗata½. Idha pana taŗh±chandavasena rattampi vaµµati, paµighachandavasena duµµhampi vaµµati. Hit±nukamp²ti hitena anukampam±no hitena pharam±no. Na dosantaroti na dosacitto bhaviss±mi.
225. Atha kho bhagav±ti kasm± ±rabhi? Phaggunassa kira ettaka½ ov±da½ sutv±pi, “bhikkhunisa½saggato oramiss±mi viramiss±m²”ti cittampi na uppanna½, bhagavat± pana saddhi½ paµ±ŗ² viya paµiviruddho aµµh±si, athassa bhagavato yath± n±ma jighacchitassa bhojane, pip±sitassa p±n²ye, s²tena phuµµhassa uŗhe dukkhitassa sukhe patthan± uppajjati. Evameva ima½ dubbaca½ bhikkhu½ disv± paµhamabodhiya½ subbac± bhikkh³ ±p±tha½ ±gami½su. Atha tesa½ vaŗŗa½ kathetuk±mo hutv± ima½ desana½ ±rabhi.
Tattha ±r±dhayi½s³ti gaŗhi½su p³rayi½su. Eka½ samayanti ekasmi½ samaye. Ek±sanabhojananti eka½ purebhattabhojana½. S³riyuggamanato hi y±va majjhanhik± sattakkhattu½ bhuttabhojanampi idha ek±sanabhojananteva adhippeta½. App±b±dhatanti nir±b±dhata½. App±taŖkatanti niddukkhata½. Lahuµµh±nanti sar²rassa sallahuka½ uµµh±na½. Balanti k±yabala½. Ph±suvih±ranti k±yassa sukhavih±ra½. Imin± ki½ kathita½? Div± vik±labhojana½ pajah±pitak±lo kathito. Tattha subh³miyanti samabh³miya½. “Subh³mya½ sukhette vihatakh±ŗuke b²j±ni patiµµhapeyy±”ti (d². ni. 2.438) ettha pana maŗ¹abh³mi subh³m²ti ±gat±. Catumah±patheti dvinna½ mah±magg±na½ vinivijjhitv± gataµµh±ne. ¾jańńarathoti vin²ta-assaratho. Odhastapatodoti yath± ratha½ abhiruhitv± µhitena sakk± hoti gaŗhitu½, eva½ ±lambana½ niss±ya tiriyato µhapitapatodo. Yogg±cariyoti ass±cariyo. Sveva assadamme s±ret²ti assadammas±rathi. Yenicchakanti yena yena maggena icchati. Yadicchakanti ya½ ya½ gati½ icchati. S±reyy±ti ujuka½ purato peseyya. Pacc±s±reyy±ti paµinivatteyya.

Gahapat±n²ti gharas±min². Kittisaddoti kittighoso. Sorat±ti soraccena samann±gat±. Niv±t±ti niv±tavutti. Upasant±ti nibbut±. Dakkh±ti bhattapacanasayanattharaŗad²pujjalan±dikammesu chek±. 233. Aŗu½ v± th³la½ v±ti appas±vajja½ v± mah±s±vajja½ v±. Ya½ tumhe n±dhiv±seyy±th±ti yo tumhehi adhiv±setabbo na bhaveyy±ti attho. No heta½, bhanteti, bhante, anadhiv±setabba½ n±ma vacanapatha½ na pass±m±ti adhipp±yo. D²gharatta½ hit±ya sukh±y±ti iti bhagav± arahattena k³µa½ gaŗhanto yath±nusandhin± desana½ niµµhapes²ti.
