Aya½ kira r±j± “sakad±g±mimaggena lobhadosamoh± niravases± pah²yant²”ti sańń² ahosi, aya½ “appah²na½ me atth²”tipi j±n±ti, appah²naka½ up±d±ya pah²nakampi puna pacchatov±vattat²ti sańń² hoti. Ki½ tassa paccavekkhaŗ± natth²ti? Atthi. S± pana na sabbesa½ paripuŗŗ± hoti. Eko hi pah²nakilesameva paccavekkhati. Eko avasiµµhakilesameva, eko maggameva, eko phalameva, eko nibb±nameva. Im±su pana pańcasu paccavekkhaŗ±su eka½ v± dve v± no laddhu½ na vaµµati. Iti yassa paccavekkhaŗ± na paripuŗŗ±, tassa maggavajjhakilesapaŗŗattiya½ akovidatt± eva½ hoti.
176. So eva kho teti soyeva lobho doso moho ca tava sant±ne appah²no, tva½ pana pah²nasańń² ahos²ti dasseti. So ca hi teti so tuyha½ lobhadosamohadhammo. K±meti duvidhe k±me. Na paribhuńjeyy±s²ti maya½ viya pabbajeyy±s²ti dasseti.
177. Appass±d±ti parittasukh±. Bahudukkh±ti diµµhadhammikasampar±yikadukkhamevettha bahuka½. Bahup±y±s±ti diµµhadhammikasampar±yiko up±y±sakilesoyevettha bahu. ¾d²navoti diµµhadhammikasampar±yiko upaddavo. Ettha bhiyyoti etesu k±mesu aya½ ±d²navoyeva bahu. Neva t±va an±vaµµ² k±mesu hot²ti atha kho so dve magge paµivijjhitv± µhitopi ariyas±vako upari jh±n±na½ v± magg±na½ v± anadhigatatt± neva t±va k±mesu an±vaµµ² hoti, an±vaµµino an±bhogo na hoti. ¾vaµµino s±bhogoyeva hoti. K±masukhallik±nuyogo hi eko anto attakilamath±nuyogo ekoti imehi antehi mutta½ mama s±sananti upari phalasam±pattis²sena sakalas±sana½ dassetumpi aya½ desan± ±raddh±.

V²satikah±paŗe iŗa½ gahetv± dasa datv± “dasa me dinn± dasa avasiµµh±”ti j±n±ti, tepi datv± “sabba½ dinnan”ti j±n±ti. Khettassa tatiyabh±ga½ l±yitv± “eko bh±go l±yito, dve avasiµµh±”ti j±n±ti. Puna eka½ l±yitv± “dve l±yit±, eko avasiµµho”ti j±n±ti. Tasmimpi l±yite “sabba½ niµµhitan”ti j±n±ti, eva½ sabbakiccesu katańca akatańca j±n±ti, tumhehipi tath± ń±tabba½ siy±ti dasseti. So tassa s±rabh³to dassan²yo p±s±diko attabh±vasamiddhiy± bimbis±roti vuccati.
