N±mar³pamattat±ya avinicchatatt±, sant±n±dighanabhedassa ca akatatt± abhinivesena vin± sam³hekattaggahaºavasena “satto”ti pavatto sammoho sattasammoho. Tassa vikkhambhan± asammohabh³mi. Sambahulasuttantavasen±ti “yath±p²”ti-±din± idha vutt±na½, avutt±nañca “r³pañca hida½, mah±li, att± abhavissa, nayida½ r³pa½ ±b±dh±ya sa½vatteyy±”ti (sa½. ni. 3.59; mah±va. 20) evam±din± sambahul±na½ suttant±na½ vasena. “N±mar³pamattamev±”ti-±din± vuttamevattha½ sandh±y±ha “etamatthan”ti.

Ag±rantvev±ti yath± kaµµh±d²ni paµicca up±d±ya tesa½ n±ma½ vissajjetv± ag±ramicceva saªkha½ samañña½ gacchati, eva½ aµµhi-±d²ni paµicca up±d±ya tesa½ n±ma½ vissajjetv± r³pa½ sar²ramicceva saªkha½ gacchat²ti yojan±.
Dukkhameva sambhot²ti dukkhadukkhat±dibheda½ tividha½ dukkhameva sambhavati, yath±paccaya½ uppajjati, tadeva dukkha½ khaºaµµhitipabandhaµµhitivasena tiµµhati ceva khaºanirodha-±yukkhayanirodh±divasena nirujjhati c±ti attho. Id±ni dukkhamev±ti evak±rena nivattitamattha½ dassetu½ “n±ññatr±”ti-±di vutta½. Tassattho– yath±vutta½ dukkha½ µhapetv± tato añña½ kiñci dhammaj±ta½ na sambhavati, yo “satto”ti v± “j²vo”ti v± vucceyya, sabbena sabba½ abh±v± kuto tassa nirodhoti.
