Pariyuµµh±nat±ya tiµµhanas²lo pariyuµµh±naµµh±y². “Pariyuµµhaµµh±yino”ti v± p±µho. Tattha pariyuµµh±t²ti pariyuµµha½, diµµhipariyuµµh±na½, tena tiµµhat²ti pariyuµµhaµµh±y²ti attho daµµhabbo.
Pañca pubbanimitt±n²ti “m±l± mil±yanti, vatth±ni kilissanti, kacchehi sed± muccanti, k±ye vevaººiya½ okkamati, devo dev±sane n±bhiramat²”ti (itivu. 83) vutt±ni pañca maraºapubbanimitt±n²ti attho. T±ni hi disv± kammanibbattakkhandhasaªkh±te upapattibhave bhavacchandabalena dev±na½ balavasoko uppajjat²ti.
B±loti avidv±. Tena avijj±ya k±raºabh±va½ dasseti. Tividha½ dukkhanti tass±ruppakath±savana, kammak±raº±dassana, maraºak±lakammopaµµh±nanid±na½ sok±didukkha½.

Tassa bh±vo ±dimatta½, tassa kathana½ ±dimattakathana½. Visesanivatti-attho v± mattasaddo, sati an±dibh±ve avijj± ±dimhi, majjhe, pariyos±ne ca sabbattha siy±ti ±dimatt±ya avijj±ya kathana½ virujjhat²ti attho. “Avijj± padh±n±”ti vatv± tass± padh±nabh±va½ dassetu½ “avijj±ggahaºen±”ti-±di ±raddha½. Tattha avijj±ggahaºen±ti avijj±ya upp±danena, appah±nena v±, attano sant±ne sannihitabh±vakaraºen±ti attho. Kamm±d²n²ti kammavip±kavaµµ±ni. Palibodhent²ti n±n±dukkhapariby³¼he sa½s±rac±rake nirodhenti. Teh²ti kilesakammavip±kavaµµehi. Vaµµassa k±raºabh±vena padh±natt± “padh±nadhammo”ti avijj± kathit±.
Tato avijj±dito. Brahm±din±ti ±di-saddena paj±patissarapuris±dike saªgaºh±ti. Vadat²ti vado, ta½ ta½ hit±hita½ pavatt±ti attho. Vedeti, vediyat²ti v± vedeyyo, sukh±di½ anubhavati, sabbavisaye v± j±n±ti, “sukhito dukkhito”ti-±din± attan±, parehi ca j±n±ti, ñ±yati c±ti attho. Brahm±din± v± attan± v±ti -saddo ca-saddattho. Ten±ha “k±rakavedakarahitan”ti ca-saddatthasam±sa½.
Dv±dasavidhasuññat±suññanti avijj±d²na½ dv±dasanna½ suññasabh±v±na½ suññat±ya suñña½ dv±dasavidhasuññat±suñña½, dhuvabh±v±disuññat±ya v± catubbidhampi suññata½ eka½ katv± dv±dasaªgagatatt± dv±dasavidh±ti t±ya dv±dasasuññat±ya suññanti attho.
653. Pubbant±haraºatoti pubbantato at²takoµµh±sato paccuppannavip±kassa ±haraºato. Vedan±vas±na½ paricchinna½ eka½ bhavacakka½ hoti. Bhavacakkekadesopi hi bhavacakkanti vuccati. Vedan± v± taºh±sah±y±ya avijj±ya paccayo hot²ti vedan±to avijj±, avijj±to saªkh±r±ti sambajjhanato vedan±vas±na½ bhavacakka½ paripuººamev±ti daµµhabba½. Avijj±ggahaºena v± taºhup±d±n±ni tadavin±bh±vato. Saªkh±raggahaºena bhavo, viññ±º±diggahaºena j±tijar±maraº±ni, sok±dayo ca gahit±ti evampi vedan±vas±na½ bhavacakkanti yuttameveta½. Eva½ taºh±m³lake ca yojetabba½. Dvinnampi hi aññamaññ±nuppaveso hot²ti. Avijj± dhammasabh±va½ paµicch±detv± vipar²t±bhinivesa½ k±rent² diµµhicarite sa½s±re nayati, tesa½ v± sa½s±ra½ saªkh±r±dipavatti½ nayati pavattet²ti sa½s±ran±yik± vutt±. Taºh±ya taºh±carit±na½ sa½s±ran±yik±bh±ve vattabbameva natthi.
Paµhama½ bhavacakka½. Phaluppattiy±ti kattu-atthe karaºavacana½, karaºatthe eva v±. Viññ±º±dipaccuppannaphaluppatti hi idha diµµh±, adiµµh±na½ purimabhave attano het³na½ avijj±saªkh±r±na½ phala½ anupp±detv± anupacchijjana½ pak±seti, pak±sanassa v± karaºa½ hot²ti. Atha v± purimabhavacakka½ dutiyena sambandha½ vuttanti vedan±saªkh±tassa phalassa uppattiy± taºh±d²na½ het³na½ anupaccheda½ pak±seti, tasm± phaluppattiy± k±raºabh³t±ya paµhamassa bhavacakkassa het³na½ anupacchedappak±sanatoti attho. Saªkh±r±d²nameva v± phal±na½ uppattiy± avijj±d²na½ het³na½ phala½ ajanetv± anupacchedameva, viññ±º±dihet³na½ v± saªkh±r±d²na½ anuppabandhameva pak±seti paµhama½ bhavacakka½, na dutiya½ viya pariyos±namp²ti “phaluppattiy± het³na½ anupacchedappak±sanato”ti vutta½. Anupubbapavattid²panatoti “saªkh±rapaccay± viññ±ºa½, viññ±ºapaccay± n±mar³pan”ti-±din± (ma. ni. 3.126; sa½. ni. 2.1; ud±. 1) dhamm±na½ anupubbato pavattiy± d²panato. “Viññ±ºapaccay± n±mar³pan”ti hi ettha aparipuºº±yatana½ kalalar³pa½ vatv± tato uddha½ “n±mar³papaccay± sa¼±yatanan”ti sa¼±yatanappavatti vutt±. Sahuppattid²panatoti “up±d±napaccay± bhavo, bhavapaccay± j±t²”ti v± upapattikkhandh±na½ ekajjha½ uppattiy± d²panato. Na hi ettha paµhame viya bhavacakke ±yatan±na½ kamena uppatti vutt±.
654. Hetu-±dipubbak± tayo sandh² etass±ti hetuphalahetupubbakatisandhi, bhavacakka½. Hetuphalahetuphalavasena catuppabhedo aªg±na½ saªgaho etass±ti catubhedasaªgaha½. Sar³pato avutt±pi tasmi½ tasmi½ saªgahe ±kir²yanti avijj±saªkh±r±diggahaºehi pak±s²yant²ti ±k±r±. At²tahetu-±d²na½ v± pak±r± ±k±r±. Kilesakammavip±k± vip±kakilesakammehi sambandh± hutv± punappuna½ parivattant²ti tesu vaµµan±ma½ ±ropetv± “tivaµµan”ti vutta½, vaµµekadesatt± v± “vaµµ±n²”ti vutt±ni.
Sandh²na½ ±dipariyos±navavatthit±ti sandh²na½ pubb±paravavatthit±ti attho.
Paritassat²ti ta½ ta½ vatthu½ pariggahakaraºavasena tassati, taºh±yat²ti attho. Up±diyat²ti da¼hag±ha½ gaºh±ti. Purimakammabhavasminti purimakammabhave sati.
Tassa ca sabbh±vo kariyam±nat± ev±ti ±ha “kammabhave kariyam±neti attho”ti. Dukkh±d²su mohoti dukkh±d²na½ ±d²navapaµicch±dako appah²no moho. ¾y³han±ti sampiº¹anak± d±n±dikiriy±ya pavattanak±. Eka½ ±vajjana½ etesanti ek±vajjan±, tesu ek±vajjanesu. Sattame cetan± bhavo. “Y± k±ci v± pana cetan± bhavo, sampayutt± ±y³han± saªkh±r±”ti ida½ yath±dassit±ya dhammaµµhitiñ±ºabh±jan²ye vutt±ya paµisambhid±p±¼iy± (paµi. ma. 1.45) vasena vutta½. Tattha hi “cetan± bhavo”ti ±gat±. Bhavaniddese pana “s±tthato”ti ettha “cetan±va saªkh±r±, bhavo pana cetan±sampayutt±p²”ti vibhaªgap±¼ivasena dassita½. “Tattha katamo puññ±bhisaªkh±ro? Kusal± cetan± k±m±vacar±”ti-±din± hi saªkh±r±na½ cetan±bh±vo vibhaªgap±¼iya½ (vibha. 226) vutto. Tattha paµisambhid±p±¼iya½ “cetan±sampayutt± vip±kadhammatt± savip±kena ±y³hanasaªkh±tena saªkhat±bhisaªkharaºakiccena saªkh±r±”ti vutt±. Vibhaªgap±¼iya½ “sabbampi bhavag±mikamma½ kammabhavo”ti (vibha. 234) bhavassa paccayabh±vena bhavag±mibh±vato, kammasa½saµµhasah±yat±ya kammabh±vato ca upapattibhava½ bh±vent²ti “bhavo”ti vutt±. Upapattibhavabh±van±kicca½ pana cetan±ya s±tisayanti paµisambhid±p±¼iy± cetan± “bhavo”ti vutt±. Bhav±bhisaªkharaºakicca½ cetan±ya s±tisayanti vibhaªgap±¼iya½ “kusal± cetan±”ti-±din± (vibha. 226) cetan± “saªkh±r±”ti vutt±. Tasm± tena tena pariy±yena ubhaya½ ubhayattha vattu½ yuttanti natthettha virodho. Tassa phale upapattibhave nik±man±ti “tassa suta½ hoti ‘c±tumah±r±jik± dev± d²gh±yuk± vaººavanto sukhabahul±’ti”±disut±nus±rena bh±vini upapattibhave abhikaªkhan±. Gahaºanti k±mup±d±na½ kiccen±ha. Par±masananti itar±ni. ¾y³han±vas±neti t²supi atthavikappesu vuttassa ±y³hanassa avas±ne.
Idh±ti imasmi½ paccuppannabhave. Bhavantarassa at²tabhavassa imin± paccuppannabhavena paµisandh±na½ bhavantarapaµisandh±na½, bhavantarabh±vena v± paµisandh±na½ bhavantarapaµisandh±na½, tassa vasena. Ya½ paµisandh²ti vuccati, ta½ viññ±ºanti sambandho. Tath± hi viññ±ºa½ “paµisandh±napaccupaµµh±nan”ti vuccati. Gabbheti m±tukucchiya½, gabbh±vatth±ya½ v±.
Dv²su atthavikappesu vutte ±y³hanasaªkh±re “tassa pubbabh±g±”ti ±ha, tatiye atthavikappe vutte “ta½sampayutt±”ti. Ta½sampayutt± avijj± gahit±va hot²ti sambandho. Daharassa cittappavatti bhavaªgabahul± yebhuyyena bhavantarajanakakamm±y³hanasamatth± na hot²ti “idha paµipakkatt± ±yatan±nan”ti vutta½. “Kammakaraºak±le sammoho dassito”ti etena kammassa paccayabh³ta½ sammoha½ dasseti, na kammasampayuttameva.
“Tattha purimabhavasmi½ pañca kammasambh±r±, etarahi pañca vip±kadhamm±, etarahi pañca kammasambh±r±, an±gate pañca vip±kadhamm±ti dasa dhamm± kamma½, dasa dhamm± vip±ko, iti dv²su µh±nesu kamma½, kammavaµµa½, dv²su µh±nesu vip±ko, vip±kavaµµanti kammasaªkhepo ca vip±kasaªkhepo ca, kammabhavo ca vip±kabhavo ca kammavaµµañca vip±kavaµµañca, kammapavattañca vip±kapavattañca, kammasantati ca vip±kasantati ca, kiriy± ceva kiriy±phalañc±ti–
“Eva½ samuppannamida½ sahetuka½,
dukkha½ anicca½ calamittaraddhuva½;
dhammehi dhamm± pabhavanti hetuso,
na hettha att±va parova vijjati.
“Dhamm± dhamme sañjanenti, hetusambh±rapaccay±;
het³nañca nirodh±ya, dhammo buddhena desito.
“Het³su uparuddhesu, chinna½ vaµµa½ na vaµµati;

Tattha kamm±neva vip±ka½ sambharanti va¹¹hent²ti kammasambh±r±, kamma½ v± saªkh±rabhav±, tadupak±rak±ni avijj±taºhup±d±n±ni kammasambh±r±. Paµisandhid±yako v± bhavo kamma½, tad³pak±rak± yath±vutt± ±y³hanasaªkh±r±, avijj±dayo ca kammasambh±r±ti kammañca kammasambh±r± ca kammasambh±r±ti ekasesavasena kammasambh±raggahaºa½ veditabba½. Dasa dhamm± kammanti avijj±dayopi kammasah±yat±ya kammasarikkhak±, tad³pak±r± c±ti “kamman”ti vutt±. Saªkhippanti ettha avijj±dayo, viññ±º±dayo c±ti saªkhepo, kamma½, vip±ko ca. “Kamma½ vip±ko”ti eva½ saªkhip²yat²ti v± saªkhepo, avijj±dayo, viññ±º±dayo ca. Saªkhepabh±vas±maññena pana ekavacana½ katanti daµµhabba½, saªkhepasaddo v± bh±g±dhivacananti kammabh±go kammasaªkhepo.
