Ayamattho idh±dhippetoti kathamida½ viññ±yat²ti ±ha “tattha katama½ dukkhe ñ±ºan”ti-±di. Yañhi kiñci paccayuppanna½ n±ma, sabba½ ta½ samuditameva nibbattat²ti. Saªkhatanti paccayantarehi samecca sambh³ya kata½. R±sikatanti puñjakata½. Avipariº±madhammassa niccasabh±vassa vattabbameva natthi paµipakkhato ±vibhavan±k±rassa sukhasiddhito.
Nid±naµµho ±vibhavati idamassa nidad±t²ti. Sa½yogapalibodhaµµh± paµipakkhavasena ±vibhavan±k±r±ti dassento ±ha “visa½yogabh³tass±”ti-±di. Kilesadukkhehi sa½yojanaµµho sa½yogaµµho. Sa½s±rac±rake palibuddhanaµµho palibodhaµµho.

Yadi hi maggañ±ºassa cat³su saccesu n±n±bhisamayo siy±, dukkhadassan±d²hi paµhamamagg±d²hi pah±tabb±na½ sa½yojanattay±d²na½ ekadesappah±na½ ±pajjati. Tath± ca sati ekadesasot±pattimaggaµµhat±dippasaªgo. Ta½ta½dassan±nantarañca ta½ta½phalena bhavitabbanti ta½ta½paheyyakilesapaµippassaddhibh³t±na½ phal±na½ magg±na½ viya catukkat± siy±. Tath± ca sati ekadesasot±pannat±dippasaªgo. Kiñca bhiyyo– yadi maggañ±ºassa n±n±bhisamayo siy±, aññena ñ±ºena dukkha½ passati. Aññena samudaya½, aññena nirodha½, aññena magga½, eva½ sati maggakicca½ aparipuººameva siy±. Maggadassanena hi dvayagati, teneva v± tassa dassana½, aññena v±ti. Tattha paµhamo t±va pakkho na yujjati attani pavattiy± asambhavato. Na hi teneva aªgulaggena tameva par±masitu½ sakk±. Atha aññena anavaµµh±nappasaªgo “yena magga½ passati, sopi maggo. Tampi yena passati, sopi maggo”ti. Tasm± ek±bhisamayato yath±vutto asammohapaµivedhova yutto. Apica paricchinditabba½, samucchinditabbañca saccadvaya½ ±rabbha pavattam±nassa maggañ±ºassa paricchindanasamucchindan±ni na sambhavanti tato anissaraºato. Na hi dukkhapariññ±samudayappah±n±ni dukkhasamudayasacc±rammaºena ñ±ºena k±tu½ sakkuºeyy±ni. Nibb±n±rammaºena pana tattha, itaradvaye ca sammoha½ viddha½sentena sakk± k±tunti ek±bhisamayo eva yutto. Aya½ pana attho p±¼iya½ ±gato ev±ti “tesa½ uttara½ abhidhamme kath±vatthusmi½ vuttamev±”ti.
