Paripuŗŗ± bodhipakkhiy± etass±ti paripuŗŗabodhipakkhiyo, maggo. Tassa bh±vo paripuŗŗabodhipakkhiyabh±vo. Vuµµh±nabalehi sampayuttat±va vuµµh±nabalasam±yogo, ye sa½yojan±dayo yena paµhamamagg±din± pah±tabb±.
818. Bujjhanaµµhena v± bodho, maggacittupp±do. Tassa bujjhanakiriy±ya anuguŗabh±vato pakkhe bhav±ti bodhipakkhiy±.
819. Tesu bodhipakkhiyesu. ¾rammaŗes³ti k±y±di-±rammaŗesu. Okkhanditv±ti anupavisitv±. Pakkhanditv±ti tasseva vevacana½. Upaµµh±natoti asubh±k±r±diggahaŗavasena upagantv± avaµµh±nato. K±y±d²su asubh±k±r±diggahaŗa½ pubbabh±gasatipaµµh±navasena subhasańń±dipah±nakiccas±dhana½ maggasatipaµµh±navasena veditabba½. Tattha hi ek±va sati catukiccas±dhanavasena pavattati.

AbhibhavanasaŖkh±tena adhipatiyaµµhen±ti assaddhiy±d²na½ abhibhavanato abhibhavananti vattabbena adhimokkhapaggaha-upaµµh±na-avikkhepapaj±nanassa ekalakkhaŗena sampayuttadhammesu adhipatiyaµµhena. Assaddhiy±d²hi c±ti ca-saddo samuccayattho aµµh±nappayutto, tasm± akampiyaµµhena ca sampayuttadhammesu thirabh±vena ca balanti evamettha adhipp±yo veditabbo.
823. Bujjhanakasattass±ti catunna½ ariyasacc±na½ paµivijjhanakasattassa. Yo heso lokuttaramaggakkhaŗe uppajjam±n±ya sati-±didhammas±maggiy± karaŗabh³t±ya bujjhati kilesasant±nanidd±ya uµµhahati, catt±ri v± ariyasacc±ni paµivijjhati, nibb±nameva v± sacchikarot²ti bodh²ti vuccati ariyas±vako, tassa bodhissa bujjhanakasattassa aŖg±ti bojjhaŖg±. Niyy±nikaµµhen±ti vaµµato nissaraŗaµµhena.
824. Pubbabh±ge n±n±cittesu labbhant²ti sambandho. Cuddasavidhen±ti ±n±p±na-iriy±pathacatusampajańńapaµikk³lamanasik±radh±tumanasik±rapabb±ni, nava sivathikapabb±ni c±ti eva½ cuddasavidhena. K±ya½ pariggaŗhato ca k±y±nupassan±satipaµµh±na½ labbhati, na vedan±dayo pariggaŗhato. Esa nayo sesesupi. “Sukha½ vedanan”ti-±din±ti v± “s±misan”ti-±din±ti v± “nir±misan”ti-±din±ti v± eva½ navavidhena. Sar±gadosamohasa½khittamahaggatasam±hitasa-uttaravimuttapad±na½ sapaµipakkh±na½ vasena so¼asavidhena. N²varaŗup±d±nakkhandh±yatanabojjhaŖgasaccapabb±na½ vasena pańcavidhena. Imasmi½ attabh±veti paccuppanne attabh±ve. Anuppannapubbanti attano abh³tapubba½. Parassa uppanna½ akusala½ disv± tannimittańca vadhabandh±rah±d²n²ti adhipp±yo. Tass±ti t±disassa. Avases± tetti½sa labbhanti, te ca kho pariy±yato, na nippariy±yatoti adhipp±yo.
825. Sesesu pan±ti iddhip±d±d²su pańcasu koµµh±sesu. Yath± sativ²riyesu “satipaµµh±na½ sammappadh±nan”ti saŖkhipanavasena h±pana½, “k±y±nupassan±”ti-±divibh±gadassanavasena va¹¹hana½ atthi, ²disa½ h±panava¹¹hana½ natth²ti attho.
826. Id±ni sabbesu eva yath±raha½ labbham±navibh±gadassanattha½ “apic±”ti-±di ±raddha½. Tattha tes³ti sattati½s±ya bodhipakkhiyadhammesu. Chaddh±ti ekadh± dvedh± catudh± pańcadh± aµµhadh± navadh±ti eva½ chappak±rena te bhavanti.
Chandiddhip±d±divasen±ti chando chandiddhip±davaseneva, citta½ cittiddhip±davaseneva, p²tipassaddhi-upekkh± bojjhaŖgavaseneva, saŖkapp±dayo maggavasenev±ti eva½ nava ekavidh±va honti.
Cuddaseva asambhinn±ti sati v²riya½ chando citta½ pańń± saddh± sam±dhi p²ti passaddhi upekkh± samm±saŖkappo samm±v±c± samm±kammanto samm±-±j²voti ime asambhinn± padantarasambhedena vin± aggahitaggahaŗena gayham±n± cuddaseva ca sabh±vadhamm±. Cuddas±ti ca ukka½saparicchedena vutta½. Tańca kho paµhamajjh±nikamaggacittupp±davasena, dutiyajjh±nike pana samm±saŖkapp±bh±vato terasa, tatiyacatutthapańcamajjh±nikesu p²tisambojjhaŖg±bh±vato dv±dasa honti. “Sattati½sappabhedato”ti idampi ukka½savaseneva vutta½, avaka½sato pana vuttanayena ekasmi½ khaŗe chatti½sa, pańcati½sa honti, catunna½ adhipat²na½ ekajjha½ anuppajjanato ekasmi½ khaŗe ekasseva iddhip±dassa sambhavoti dvatti½sa ca hont²ti veditabba½.
Sattati½sapabhedato kathanti ±ha “sakiccanipph±danato”ti-±di, ekaccassa sabh±vato ekass±pi attano ±nubh±v±nur³pak±y±nupassan±dita½ta½kiccas±dhanatoti attho. Sar³pena ca vuttitoti abhedassa cittiddhip±d±dikassa sar³peneva pavattanato ca.
Etth±ti ń±ŗadassanavisuddhiya½. Kasm± pana bodhipakkhiyesu jh±nakoµµh±so na gahito, nanu jh±narahito ariyamaggo natth²ti? Sacca½ natthi, tato eva na kho paneta½ eva½ daµµhabba½ “bodhipakkhiyesu jh±na½ na gahitan”ti lakkhaŗ³panijjh±nalakkhaŗassa jh±nassa maggaggahaŗeneva gahitatt±. Tańhi sandh±ya “yasmi½ samaye lokuttara½ jh±na½ bh±vet²”ti-±di (dha. sa. 277, 343 ±dayo) vutta½. ¾rammaŗ³panijjh±nalakkhaŗassa panettha sambhavo eva natthi. Aparo nayo– kasm± pana bodhipakkhiyesu jh±nakoµµh±so na gahito, nanu jh±narahito ariyamaggo natthi, na ca ta½ paµipad± viya ekantapubbabh±giya½, n±pi ekaccapaµisambhid± viya magganissando, atha kho maggacittupp±dapariy±panno, yato “lokuttara½ jh±na½ bh±vet²”ti (dha. sa. 277, 343 ±dayo) vutta½, maggamaggapariv±radhamm± ca bodhipakkhiyadhamm±ti? Vuccate– ya½ t±va vutta½ jh±narahito ariyamaggo natth²”ti, tattha na ariyamaggasampayogamattena jh±nassa bodhipakkhiyat± labbhati atippasaŖgato. ¾h±r±d²nampi hi bodhipakkhiyat± ±pajjeyy±ti. Etena maggacittupp±dapariy±pannat± bodhipakkhiyabh±vassa ak±raŗanti dassita½ hoti.
Ya½ pana vutta½ “maggamaggapariv±radhamm± ca bodhipakkhiy±”ti, tattha pariv±raµµho ki½ sahapavatti-attho, ud±hu parikkh±raµµhoti? Yadi purimo pakkho, so pageva nillocito. Atha dutiyo, ida½ vic±retabba½. Katha½ pavattam±na½ jh±na½ maggassa parikkh±ro? Yadi sahaj±t±dipaccayabh±vena, eva½ sati phass±d²nampi maggaparikkh±rat± ±pajjati. Atha paµipakkhavidha½sanena, na sabbe jh±nadhamm± paµipakkhavidha½sanasamatth±. Na hi vic±ro, vedan± ca kassaci sa½kilesadhammassa ujupaµipakkhabh±vena pavattanti. Ya½ pana peµake “sukha½ uddhaccakukkuccassa, vic±ro vicikicch±ya paµipakkho”ti vutta½, ta½ pariy±yena vutta½. Na hi sukha½ saya½ uddhaccakukkuccassa paµipakkho, paµipakkhassa pana sam±dhissa paccayat±ya paµipakkho. Na ca vic±ro pańń± viya, adhimokkho viya v± vicikicch±ya paµipakkho, paµipakkhassa paµir³pat±ya pana paµipakkho vutto. Tath± p²tipi na by±p±dassa adoso viya ujupaµipakkho, adosasampayogato pana paµipakkho vutto. Tena vutta½ “ta½ pariy±yena vuttan”ti. Vitakkasam±dhayo eva pana jh±nadhammesu ujuka½ paµipakkhavidha½sanasamatth±ti paµipakkhaviddha½sanasamatthassa paripuŗŗassa jh±nakoµµh±sassa abh±vato na cassa bodhipakkhiyesu saŖgaho kato. Yasm± pana samm±saŖkappo, samm±sam±dhi ca maggapariy±pann± jh±nadhamm±, tasm± te sandh±ya ta½sampayuttat±ya v± itarepi gahetv± pariy±yena vutta½ p±¼iya½ “yasmi½ samaye lokuttara½ jh±na½ bh±veti niyy±nikan”ti-±di (dha. sa. 277).
