78. Vasana½ vas²ti dh±tuniddesat±ya kiriy±niddesoti adhipp±yen±ha “vasiyo”ti, yath±ruci pavattiyoti attho. ¾vajjan±ya vas², ±vajjan±vasena v± vas² ±vajjanavas². Jh±na½ ±vajjitu½ yattha yattha padese icch± yatthicchaka½. Yad± yad±, yasmi½ yasmi½ v± jh±naŖge icch± yadicchaka½. Y±va y±va icch± y±vadicchaka½, da-k±ro padasandhikaro. “Y±v±”ti ca ida½ bah³na½ javanav±r±na½ nirantara½ viya tath±pavattana½ sandh±ya vutta½, na ekameva. So hi paricchinnacittakkhaŗoti. ¾vajjan±ya dandh±yitatta½ natth²ti vuttanayena yattha katthaci µh±ne yad± yad± ya½ kińci jh±naŖga½ ±vajjentassa yathicchita½ k±la½ ±vajjan±ya ±vajjanappavattiy± dandh±yitatta½ vitth±yitatta½, cir±yitatta½ v± natthi. Eva½ ±vajjanavas² siddh± n±ma hot²ti attho. Ses±ti vuµµh±na-adhiµµh±napaccavekkhaŗ±vasiyo.
AŖgasamud±yabh±vato jh±nassa jh±ne ±vajjanavasi½ nipph±detuk±mena paµip±µiy± jh±naŖg±ni ±vajjetabb±n²ti ±ha “paµhama½ vitakka½ ±vajjayato”ti. Yadipi ±vajjanamevettha icchita½ ±vajjanavasiy± adhippetatt±, ±vajjan±ya pana uppann±ya javanehi bhavitabba½. T±ni ca kho ±vajjanatapparat±ya citt±bhin²h±rassa yath±vajjitajh±naŖg±rammaŗ±ni katipay±neva honti, na paripuŗŗ±n²ti vutta½ “vitakk±rammaŗ±neva catt±ri pańca v± javan±ni javant²”ti. Catt±ri tikkhindriyassa. Pańca n±titikkhindriyass±ti daµµhabba½. Nirantaranti visabh±gehi nirantara½. Aya½ pan±ti bhavaŖgadvayantarit± catujavanacitt± yath±vutt± ±vajjanavas². Ańńesa½ v± dhammasen±pati-±d²na½. Evar³pe k±leti uµµh±ya samuµµh±ya lahutara½ ±vajjanavas²nibbattanak±le. S± ca kho ittar± parittak±l±, na satthu yamakamah±p±µih±riye viya ciratarappabandhavat². Tath± hi ta½ s±vakehi as±dh±raŗa½ vutta½. Adhigamena sama½ sasampayuttassa jh±nassa samm± ±pajjana½ paµipajjana½ sam±pajjana½, jh±nasamaŖgit±.
S²ghanti ettha sam±pajjituk±mat±nantara½ dv²su bhavaŖgesu uppannesu bhavaŖga½ upacchinditv± uppann±vajjan±nantara½ sam±pajjana½ s²gha½ sam±pajjanasamatthat±. Ayańca matthakappatt± sam±pajjanavas² satthu dhammadesan±ya½ labbhati. Ya½ sandh±ya vutta½ “so kho aha½, aggivessana, tass± eva kath±ya pariyos±ne tasmi½yeva purimasmi½ sam±dhinimitte ajjhattameva citta½ saŗµhapemi sannis±demi ekodi½ karomi sam±dah±mi yenassuda½ niccakappa½ vihar±m²”ti (ma. ni. 1.387). Ito s²ghatar± hi sam±pajjanavas² n±ma natthi. Juŗh±ya rattiy± navoropitehi kesehi kapotakandar±ya½ viharantassa ±yasmato s±riputtassa yakkhena mahantampi pabbatak³µa½ pad±letu½ samatthe pah±re s²se dinne sam±pajjanampettha nidassetabba½. Tath± hi vakkhati “tad± thero tassa paharaŗasamaye sam±patti½ appes²”ti (visuddhi. 2.374). P±¼iya½ pana “ańńatara½ sam±dhi½ sam±pajjitv± nisinno”ti (ud±. 34) vutta½. Ime pana ther± “sam±pattito vuµµh±nasamak±la½ tena pah±ro dinno”ti vadanti.
Acchar±mattanti aŖguliphoµamatta½ khaŗa½. Żhapetunti setu viya s²ghasot±ya nadiy± ogha½ vegena pavattitu½ adatv± yath±vuttakkhaŗa½ jh±na½ µhapetu½ samatthat±. Abhibhuyya µhapana½, adhiµµh±na½ viy±ti v± adhiµµh±na½. Tattha vas² adhiµµh±navas². Tatheva lahu½ vuµµh±tunti acchar±matta½ v± dasacchar±matta½ v± lahu½ khaŗa½ jh±nasamaŖg² hutv± jh±nato vuµµh±tu½ samatthat±. BhavaŖgacittuppattiyeva hettha jh±nato vuµµh±na½ n±ma. Ettha ca yath± “ettakameva khaŗa½ jh±na½ µhapess±m²”ti pubbaparikammavasena adhiµµh±nasamatthat± adhiµµh±navas², eva½ “ettakameva khaŗa½ jh±nasamaŖg² hutv± jh±nato vuµµhahiss±m²”ti pubbaparikammavasena vuµµh±nasamatthat± vuµµh±navas² veditabb±, y± sam±patti “vuµµh±nakusalat±”ti vuccati. Tadubhayadassanatthanti adhiµµh±navuµµh±navas²dassanattha½.
Tatth±ti tasmi½ nimmitapabbate tassa vivare. Kińc±pi eka½yeva ta½ abhińń±citta½ yena pabbata½ nimmineyya, abhińń±p±dakassa pana jh±nassa lahutara½ µhapana½, vuµµh±nańca idha nidassitanti daµµhabba½. “Ettak± iddhimant± eka½ upaµµh±ka½ garu¼ato rakkhitu½ na sakkhi½s³”ti g±rayh± ass±ma.
¾vajjan±nantar±n²ti ±vajjanavas²bh±v±ya yath±kkama½ vitakk±d²na½ jh±naŖg±na½ ±vajjan±ya parato y±ni javan±ni pavatt±ni, t±ni tesa½ paccavekkhaŗ±ni. Yadaggena ±vajjanavas²siddhi, tadaggena paccavekkhaŗ±vas²siddhi veditabb±.
