39. Avikkhepalakkhaŗa½ n±ma sam±dhissa ±veŗiko sabh±vo, na tenassa koci vibh±go labbhat²ti ±ha “avikkhepalakkhaŗena t±va ekavidho”ti. Sampayuttadhamme ±rammaŗe appento viya pavattat²ti vitakko appan±. Tath± hi so “appan± byappan±”ti (dha. sa. 7) niddiµµho. Tappamukhat±vasena pana sabbasmi½ mahaggat±nuttare jh±nadhamme “appan±”ti aµµhakath±voh±ro. Tath± tassa anuppattiµµh±nabh³te parittajh±ne upac±ravoh±ro. G±m±d²na½ sam²paµµh±ne g±m³pac±r±disamańń± viy±ti ±ha “upac±rappan±vasena duvidho”ti. Idha pana sam±dhivasena veditabba½. Lujjanapalujjanaµµhena lokoti vuccati vaµµa½, tappariy±pannat±ya loke niyutto, tattha v± viditoti lokiyo. Tattha apariy±pannat±ya lokato uttaro uttiŗŗoti lokuttaro. K±mańcettha lokiyasam±dhi bh±vetabbabh±vena gayhati, ubhaya½ pana ekajjha½ gahetv± tato itara½ niddh±retu½ “lokiyalokuttaravasena duvidho”ti vutta½. Sapp²tikanipp²tikavasen±ti saha p²tiy± vattat²ti sapp²tiko, p²tisampayutto. Natthi etassa p²t²ti nipp²tiko, p²tivippayutto. Tesa½ vasena. Sukhena saha ekupp±d±dibh±va½ gatoti sukhasahagato sukhasampayuttoti attho. Upekkh±sahagatepi eseva nayo. Upekkh±ti cettha adukkhamasukhavedan± adhippet±. Sukhasahagata-padena cettha sapp²tiko, nipp²tikekadeso ca saŖgahito, upekkh±sahagata-padena pana nipp²tikekadesov±ti ayametesa½ pad±na½ viseso.
Sabh±vato, paccayato, phalato ca majjhimapaŗ²tehi nih²no, tesa½ v± guŗehi parih²noti h²no, attano paccayehi padh±nabh±va½ n²to paŗ²to, ubhinna½ majjhe bhavo majjhimo. Sampayogavasena pavattam±nena saha vitakkena savitakko, saha vic±rena savic±ro, savitakko ca so savic±ro c±ti savitakkasavic±ro. ¾di-saddena avitakkavic±ramatto, avitakk±vic±ro ca gahito. Tattha vic±rato uttari vitakkena sampayog±bh±vato avitakko ca so vic±ramatto c±ti avitakkavic±ramatto. Visesanivatti-attho v± matta-saddo. Savitakkasavic±ro hi sam±dhi vitakkavisiµµhena vic±rena savic±ro, aya½ pana vic±ramattena vitakkasaŖkh±tavisesarahitena, tasm± avitakkavic±ramatto.
