Vipassan±mattavasenev±ti avadh±raºena samatha½ nivatteti. So hi tass± paµiyog², na s²l±di. Matta-saddena ca visesanivatti-atthena savisesa½ sam±dhi½ nivatteti. Sopi hi itara½ lakkhaºadvaya½ vibh³tatara½ katv± sammasitv± visesa½ adhigacchati, na aniccalakkhaºameva.
Sabbe saªkh±r±ti sabbe tebh³makasaªkh±r±, te hi sammasan²y±. Anicc±ti na nicc± addhuv± ittar± khaºabhaªgur±ti. Paññ±y±ti vipassan±paññ±ya. Passati sammasati. Atha pacch± udayabbayañ±º±d²na½ uppattiy± uttarak±la½. Nibbindati dukkheti tasmi½yeva anicc±k±rato diµµhe “sabbe saªkh±r±”ti vutte tebh³make khandhapañcakasaªkh±te dukkhe nibbindati nibbid±ñ±ºa½ paµilabhati. Esa maggo visuddhiy±ti esa nibbid±nupassan±saªkh±to vir±g±d²na½ k±raºabh³to nibb±nassa adhigam³p±yo.
Jh±napaññ±vasen±ti samathavipassan±vasena. Jh±nanti cettha vipassan±ya p±dakabh³ta½ jh±na½ adhippeta½. Yamh²ti yasmi½ puggale. Jh±nañca paññ± c±ti etth±yamattho– yo puggalo jh±na½ p±daka½ katv± vipassana½ paµµhapetv± ta½ ussukk±peti. Sa ve nibb±nasantiketi so byatta½ nibb±nassa sam²pe ekantato nibb±na½ adhigacchat²ti.
Kammanti maggacetan±. S± hi apacayag±mit±ya satt±na½ suddhi½ ±vahati. Vijj±ti samm±diµµhi. S²lanti samm±v±c±kammant±. J²vitamuttamanti samm±-±j²vo. Dhammoti avases± catt±ro ariyamaggadhamm±.
