Iti “eka½ puggala½ neva man±pa½ n±man±pan”ti imin± attano, piy±d²nañca paµikkhepamukhena ud±sinapuggala½ dasseti.
Vuttanayen±ti “yv±ssa pakatimajjhatto”ti-±din± anantara½ vuttena nayena. Attasinehassa balavabh±vato veritopi attani majjhattat±ya dur³pasa½h±ratt± “imesu ca attani c±”ti att± pacch± vutto. Pathav²kasiºe vuttanayenev±ti “aya½ sam±patti ±sannap²tipaccatthik±”ti-±din± (visuddhi. 1.87) pathav²kasiºe vuttanayena. Tasm± tattha vutta½ “pathav²sadda½ apanetv± tadeva nimitta½ ±rammaºa½ katv± manodv±r±vajjana½ uppajjat²”ti-±din± yojetabba½.
Pathav²kasiº±d²s³ti ±di-saddena sesakasiº±ni, ass±sapass±sanimittañca saªgaºh±ti. K±ma½ kasiº±n±p±nesu uppannass±pi tatiyajjh±nassa upekkh±brahmavih±rena r³p±vacarajjh±n±dit±ya attheva sabh±gat±, ta½ pana ak±raºa½ ±rammaºassa visadisat±y±ti ±ha “±rammaºavisabh±gat±y±”ti. Nanu ca aññath±va kasiº±dibh±van±, aññath± brahmavih±rabh±van±ti bh±van±vasen±pi yath±vuttajjh±n±na½ attheva visadisat±ti? Saccameta½, bh±van±vasena pana visadisat± anuppattiy± na ekantika½ k±raºa½. Tath± hi aññath±va mett±dibh±van± aññath± upekkh±bh±van±. Tath±pi sattesu yath±pavattita½ hitesit±di-±k±ra½ byatirekamukhena ±masant², tato vinivattam±nar³pena ajjhupekkhan±k±rena brahmavih±rupekkh± pavattati. Tath± hi vakkhati “kammassak± satt±, te kassa ruciy± sukhit± v± bhavissant²”ti-±di (visuddhi. 1.263). ¾rammaºasabh±gat±pi cettha atth²ti mett±divasena paµiladdhatatiyajjh±nassa ijjhati upekkh±brahmavih±ro.
