741. Tasseva½ sallakkhetv± punappuna½ “anicca½ dukkhamanatt±”ti r³p±r³padhamme tulayato t²rayato ta½ ñ±ºa½ tikkha½ hutv± vahati, saªkh±r± lahu½ upaµµhahanti, ñ±ºe tikkhe vahante saªkh±resu lahu½ upaµµhahantesu upp±da½ v± µhiti½ v± pavatta½ v± nimitta½ v± na samp±puº±ti. Khayavayabhedanirodheyeva sati santiµµhati. Tassa “eva½ uppajjitv± eva½ n±ma saªkh±ragata½ nirujjhat²”ti passato etasmi½ µh±ne bhaªg±nupassana½ n±ma vipassan±ñ±ºa½ uppajjati. Ya½ sandh±ya vutta½–
“Katha½ ±rammaºapaµisaªkh± bhaªg±nupassane paññ± vipassane ñ±ºa½? R³p±rammaºat± citta½ uppajjitv± bhijjati, ta½ ±rammaºa½ paµisaªkh± tassa cittassa bhaªga½ anupassati Anupassat²ti katha½ anupassati? Aniccato anupassati no niccato, dukkhato anupassati no sukhato, anattato anupassati no attato, nibbindati no nandati, virajjati no rajjati, nirodheti no samudeti, paµinissajjati no ±diyati.
“Aniccato anupassanto niccasañña½ pajahati. Dukkhato anupassanto sukhasañña½, anattato anupassanto attasañña½, nibbindanto nandi½, virajjanto r±ga½, nirodhento samudaya½ paµinissajjanto ±d±na½ pajahati.
“Vedan±rammaºat±…pe… saññ±rammaºat±… saªkh±r±rammaºat±… viññ±º±rammaºat±… cakkh±rammaºat±…pe… jar±maraº±rammaºat± citta½ uppajjitv± bhijjati…pe… paµinissajjanto ±d±na½ pajahati.
“Vatthusaªkaman± ceva, paññ±ya ca vivaµµan±;
±vajjan±balañceva, paµisaªkh±vipassan±.
“¾rammaºa-anvayena, ubho ekavavatthan±;
nirodhe adhimuttat±, vayalakkhaºavipassan±.
“¾rammaºañca paµisaªkh±, bhaªgañca anupassati;
suññato ca upaµµh±na½, adhipaññ±vipassan±.
“Kusalo t²su anupassan±su, catasso ca vipassan±su;
tayo upaµµh±ne kusalat±, n±n±diµµh²su na kampat²”ti.
“Ta½ ñ±taµµhena ñ±ºa½, paj±nanaµµhena paññ±, tena vuccati ‘±rammaºapaµisaªkh± bhaªg±nupassane paññ± vipassane ñ±ºa”n’ti (paµi. ma. 1.51-52).
742. Tattha ±rammaºapaµisaªkh±ti ya½kiñci ±rammaºa½ paµisaªkh±ya j±nitv±, khayato vayato disv±ti attho. Bhaªg±nupassane paññ±ti tassa, ±rammaºa½ khayato vayato paµisaªkh±ya uppannassa ñ±ºassa bhaªga½ anupassane y± paññ±, ida½ vipassane ñ±ºanti vutta½. Ta½ katha½ hot²ti aya½ t±va kathetukamyat±pucch±ya attho. Tato yath± ta½ hoti, ta½ dassetu½ “r³p±rammaºat±”ti-±di vutta½.
Tattha r³p±rammaºat± citta½ uppajjitv± bhijjat²ti r³p±rammaºa½ citta½ uppajjitv± bhijjati. Atha v± r³p±rammaºabh±ve citta½ uppajjitv± bhijjat²ti attho. Ta½ ±rammaºa½ paµisaªkh±ti ta½ r³p±rammaºa½ paµisaªkh±ya j±nitv±, khayato vayato disv±ti attho. Tassa cittassa bhaªga½ anupassat²ti yena cittena ta½ r³p±rammaºa½ khayato vayato diµµha½, tassa cittassa aparena cittena bhaªga½ anupassat²ti attho. Ten±hu por±º± “ñ±tañca ñ±ºañca ubhopi vipassat²”ti.
Ettha ca anupassat²ti anu anu passati, anekehi ±k±rehi punappuna½ passat²ti attho. Ten±ha– “anupassat²ti katha½ anupassati. Aniccato anupassat²”ti-±di.
Tattha yasm± bhaªgo n±ma aniccat±ya param± koµi, tasm± so bhaªg±nupassako yog±vacaro sabba½ saªkh±ragata½ aniccato anupassati, no niccato. Tato aniccassa dukkhatt±, dukkhassa ca anattatt± tadeva dukkhato anupassati, no sukhato. Anattato anupassati no attato.
Yasm± pana ya½ anicca½ dukkhamanatt±, na ta½ abhinanditabba½. Yañca anabhinanditabba½, na tattha rajjitabba½. Tasm± etasmi½ bhaªg±nupassan±nus±rena “anicca½ dukkhamanatt±”ti diµµhe saªkh±ragate nibbindati, no nandati. Virajjati, no rajjati. So eva½ arajjanto lokikeneva t±va ñ±ºena r±ga½ nirodheti, no samudeti. Samudaya½ na karot²ti attho.
Atha v± so eva½ viratto yath± diµµha½ saªkh±ragata½, tath± adiµµhampi anvayañ±ºavasena nirodheti no samudeti. Nirodhatova manasikaroti. Nirodhamevassa passati, no samudayanti attho.
So eva½ paµipanno paµinissajjati, no ±diyati. Ki½ vutta½ hoti? Ayampi anicc±di-anupassan± tadaªgavasena saddhi½ khandh±bhisaªkh±rehi kiles±na½ pariccajanato, saªkhatadosadassanena ca tabbipar²te nibb±ne tanninnat±ya pakkhandanato paricc±gapaµinissaggo ceva pakkhandanapaµinissaggo c±ti vuccati. Tasm± t±ya samann±gato bhikkhu yath±vuttena nayena kilese pariccajati, nibb±ne ca pakkhandati. N±pi nibbattanavasena kilese ±diyati, na adosadassit±vasena saªkhat±rammaºa½. Tena vuccati “paµinissajjati no ±diyat²”ti.
743. Id±nissa tehi ñ±ºehi yesa½ dhamm±na½ pah±na½ hoti, ta½ dassetu½ “aniccato anupassanto niccasañña½ pajahat²”ti-±di vutta½. Tattha nandinti sapp²tika½ taºha½. Sesa½ vuttanayameva.
744. G±th±su pana vatthusaªkaman±ti r³passa bhaªga½ disv± puna yena cittena bhaªgo diµµho, tass±pi bhaªgadassanavasena purimavatthuto aññavatthusaªkaman±. Paññ±ya ca vivaµµan±ti udaya½ pah±ya vaye santiµµhan±. ¾vajjan±balañcev±ti r³passa bhaªga½ disv± puna bhaªg±rammaºassa cittassa bhaªgadassanattha½ anantarameva ±vajjanasamatthat±. Paµisaªkh±vipassan±ti es± ±rammaºapaµisaªkh±bhaªg±nupassan± n±ma.
745. ¾rammaºa-anvayena ubho ekavavatthan±ti paccakkhato diµµhassa ±rammaºassa anvayena anugamanena yath± ida½, tath± at²tepi saªkh±ragata½ bhijjittha, an±gatepi bhijjissat²ti eva½ ubhinna½ ekasabh±veneva vavatth±pananti attho.
Vuttampi ceta½ por±ºehi–
“Sa½vijjam±namhi visuddhadassano,
tadanvaya½ neti at²tan±gate;
sabbepi saªkh±ragat± palokino,
uss±vabind³ s³riyeva uggate”ti.
Nirodhe adhimuttat±ti eva½ ubhinna½ bhaªgavasena ekavavatth±na½ katv± tasmiññeva bhaªgasaªkh±te nirodhe adhimuttat± taggarut± tanninnat± tappoºat± tappabbh±rat±ti attho. Vayalakkhaºavipassan±ti es± vayalakkhaºavipassan± n±m±ti vutta½ hoti.
746. ¾rammaºañca paµisaªkh±ti purimañca r³p±di-±rammaºa½ j±nitv±. Bhaªgañca anupassat²ti tass±rammaºassa bhaªga½ disv± tad±rammaºassa cittassa bhaªga½ anupassati. Suññato ca upaµµh±nanti tasseva½ bhaªga½ anupassato “saªkh±r±va bhijjanti, tesa½ bhedo maraºa½, na añño koci atth²”ti suññato upaµµh±na½ ijjhati.
Ten±hu por±º±–
“Khandh± nirujjhanti na catthi añño,
khandh±na bhedo maraºanti vuccati;
tesa½ khaya½ passati appamatto,
maºi½va vijjha½ vajirena yoniso”ti.
Adhipaññ±vipassan±ti y± ca ±rammaºapaµisaªkh± y± ca bhaªg±nupassan± yañca suññato upaµµh±na½, aya½ adhipaññ±vipassan± n±m±ti vutta½ hoti.
747. Kusalo t²su anupassan±s³ti anicc±nupassan±d²su t²su cheko bhikkhu. Catasso ca vipassan±s³ti nibbid±d²su ca cat³su vipassan±su. Tayo upaµµh±ne kusalat±ti khayato vayato suññatoti imasmiñca tividhe upaµµh±ne kusalat±ya. N±n±diµµh²su na kampat²ti sassatadiµµhi-±d²su n±nappak±r±su diµµh²su na vedhati.
748. So eva½ avedham±no “aniruddhameva nirujjhati, abhinnameva bhijjat²”ti pavattamanasik±ro dubbalabh±janassa viya bhijjam±nassa, sukhumarajasseva vippakiriyam±nassa, til±na½ viya bhajjiyam±n±na½ sabbasaªkh±r±na½ upp±daµµhitipavattanimitta½ vissajjetv± bhedameva passati. So yath± n±ma cakkhum± puriso pokkharaº²t²re v± nad²t²re v± µhito th³laphusitake deve vassante udakapiµµhe mahantamahant±ni udakabubbu¼ak±ni uppajjitv± uppajjitv± s²gha½ s²gha½ bhijjam±n±ni passeyya, evameva sabbe saªkh±r± bhijjanti bhijjant²ti passati. Evar³pa½ hi yog±vacara½ sandh±ya vutta½ bhagavat±–
“Yath± bubbu¼aka½ passe, yath± passe mar²cika½;
eva½ loka½ avekkhanta½, maccur±j± na passat²”ti. (Dha. pa. 170).
749. Tasseva½ “sabbe saªkh±r± bhijjanti bhijjant²”ti abhiºha½ passato aµµh±nisa½sapariv±ra½ bhaªg±nupassan±ñ±ºa½ balappatta½ hoti. Tatrime aµµh±nisa½s±– bhavadiµµhippah±na½, j²vitanikantiparicc±go, sad±yuttapayuttat±, visuddh±j²vit±, ussukkappah±na½, vigatabhayat±, khantisoraccapaµil±bho, aratiratisahanat±ti.

“Im±ni aµµhagguºamuttam±ni,
disv± tahi½ sammasate punappuna½;
±dittacelassiras³pamo muni,
bhaªg±nupass² amatassa pattiy±”ti.
