Vipassanupakkilesakath±

732. Athassa im±ya taruºavipassan±ya ±raddhavipassakassa dasa vipassanupakkiles± uppajjanti. Vipassanupakkiles± hi paµivedhappattassa ariyas±vakassa ceva vippaµipannakassa ca nikkhittakammaµµh±nassa kus²tapuggalassa nuppajjanti. Samm±paµipannakassa pana yuttapayuttassa ±raddhavipassakassa kulaputtassa uppajjantiyeva.
Katame pana te dasa upakkiles±ti? Obh±so, ñ±ºa½, p²ti, passaddhi, sukha½, adhimokkho, paggaho, upaµµh±na½, upekkh±, nikant²ti. Vuttañheta½–
“Katha½ dhammuddhaccaviggahitam±nasa½ hoti? Aniccato manasikaroto obh±so uppajjati, ‘obh±so dhammo’ti obh±sa½ ±vajjati, tato vikkhepo uddhacca½. Tena uddhaccena viggahitam±naso aniccato upaµµh±na½ yath±bh³ta½ nappaj±n±ti. Dukkhato… anattato upaµµh±na½ yath±bh³ta½ nappaj±n±ti”.
Tath± “aniccato manasikaroto ñ±ºa½ uppajjati…pe… p²ti… passaddhi… sukha½… adhimokkho… paggaho… upaµµh±na½… upekkh±… nikanti uppajjati, ‘nikanti dhammo’ti nikanti½ ±vajjati, tato vikkhepo uddhacca½. Tena uddhaccena viggahitam±naso aniccato upaµµh±na½ yath±bh³ta½ nappaj±n±ti. Dukkhato… anattato upaµµh±na½ yath±bh³ta½ nappaj±n±t²”ti (paµi. ma. 2.6).
733. Tattha obh±soti vipassanobh±so. Tasmi½ uppanne yog±vacaro “na vata me ito pubbe evar³po obh±so uppannapubbo, addh± maggappattosmi phalapattosm²”ti amaggameva “maggo”ti, aphalameva ca “phalan”ti gaºh±ti. Tassa amagga½ “maggo”ti aphala½ “phalan”ti gaºhato vipassan±v²thi ukkant± n±ma hoti. So attano m³lakammaµµh±na½ vissajjetv± obh±sameva ass±dento nis²dati.
So kho pan±ya½ obh±so kassaci bhikkhuno pallaªkaµµh±namattameva obh±sento uppajjati. Kassaci antogabbha½. Kassaci bahigabbhampi. Kassaci sakalavih±ra½, g±vuta½, a¹¹hayojana½, yojana½, dviyojana½, tiyojana½…pe… kassaci pathav²talato y±va akaniµµhabrahmalok± ek±loka½ kurum±no. Bhagavato pana dasasahassilokadh±tu½ obh±sento udap±di.
Eva½ vemattat±ya cassa ida½ vatthu– cittalapabbate kira dvikuµµagehassa anto dve ther± nis²di½su. Ta½divasañca k±¼apakkhuposatho hoti, meghapaµalacchann± dis±, rattibh±ge caturaªgasamann±gata½ tama½ pavattati. Atheko thero ±ha– “bhante, mayha½ id±ni cetiyaªgaºamhi s²h±sane pañcavaºº±ni kusum±ni paññ±yant²”ti. Ta½ itaro ±ha– “anacchariya½, ±vuso, kathesi, mayha½ panetarahi mah±samuddamhi yojanaµµh±ne macchakacchap± paññ±yant²”ti.
Aya½ pana vipassanupakkileso yebhuyyena samathavipassan±l±bhino uppajjati. So sam±pattivikkhambhit±na½ kiles±na½ asamud±c±rato “arah± ahan”ti citta½ upp±deti uccav±likav±s² mah±n±gatthero viya ha½kanakav±s² mah±dattatthero viya cittalapabbate niªkapeººakapadh±nagharav±s² c³¼asumanatthero viya ca.
Tatrida½ ekavatthuparid²pana½– talaªgarav±s² dhammadinnatthero kira n±ma eko pabhinnapaµisambhido mah±kh²º±savo mahato bhikkhusaªghassa ov±dad±yako ahosi. So ekadivasa½ attano div±µµh±ne nis²ditv± “kinnu kho amh±ka½ ±cariyassa uccav±likav±s²mah±n±gattherassa samaºabh±vakicca½ matthaka½ patta½, no”ti ±vajjanto puthujjanabh±vamevassa disv± “mayi agacchante puthujjanak±lakiriyameva karissat²”ti ca ñatv± iddhiy± veh±sa½ uppatitv± div±µµh±ne nisinnassa therassa sam²pe orohitv± vanditv± vatta½ dassetv± ekamanta½ nis²di. “Ki½, ±vuso dhammadinna, ak±le ±gatos²”ti ca vutte “pañha½, bhante, pucchitu½ ±gatomh²”ti ±ha. Tato “pucch±vuso, j±nam±n± kathayiss±m±”ti vutte pañhasahassa½ pucchi.
Thero pucchitapucchita½ asajjam±nova kathesi. Tato “atitikkha½ vo, bhante, ñ±ºa½, kad± tumhehi aya½ dhammo adhigato”ti vutte “ito saµµhivassak±le, ±vuso”ti ±ha. Sam±dhimpi, bhante, va¼añjeth±ti, na yida½, ±vuso, bh±riyanti. Tena hi, bhante, eka½ hatthi½ m±peth±ti Thero sabbaseta½ hatthi½ m±pesi. Id±ni, bhante, yath± aya½ hatth² añcitakaººo pas±ritanaªguµµho soº¹a½ mukhe pakkhipitv± bherava½ koñcan±da½ karonto tumh±ka½ abhimukho ±gacchati, tath± na½ karoth±ti. Thero tath± katv± vegena ±gacchato hatthissa bherava½ ±k±ra½ disv± uµµh±ya pal±yitu½ ±raddho. Tamena½ kh²º±savatthero hattha½ pas±retv± c²varakaººe gahetv± “bhante, kh²º±savassa s±rajja½ n±ma hot²”ti ±ha.
So tamhi k±le attano puthujjanabh±va½ ñatv± “avassayo me, ±vuso, dhammadinna hoh²”ti vatv± p±dam³le ukkuµika½ nis²di. “Bhante, tumh±ka½ avassayo bhaviss±miccev±ha½ ±gato, m± cintayitth±”ti kammaµµh±na½ kathesi. Thero kammaµµh±na½ gahetv± caªkama½ ±ruyha tatiye padav±re aggaphala½ arahatta½ p±puºi. Thero kira dosacarito ahosi. Evar³p± bhikkh³ obh±se kampanti.
734. ѱºanti vipassan±ñ±ºa½. Tassa kira r³p±r³padhamme tulayantassa t²rentassa vissaµµha-indavajiramiva avihatavega½ tikhiºa½ s³ra½ ativisada½ ñ±ºa½ uppajjati.
P²t²ti vipassan±p²ti. Tassa kira tasmi½ samaye khuddak±p²ti, khaºik±p²ti, okkantik±p²ti, ubbeg±p²ti, pharaº±p²t²ti aya½ pañcavidh± p²ti sakalasar²ra½ p³rayam±n± uppajjati.
Passaddh²ti vipassan±passaddhi. Tassa kira tasmi½ samaye rattiµµh±ne v± div±µµh±ne v± nisinnassa k±yacitt±na½ neva daratho, na g±rava½, na kakkha¼at±, na akammaññat±, na gelañña½, na vaªkat± hoti, atha kho panassa k±yacitt±ni passaddh±ni lah³ni mud³ni kammaññ±ni suvisad±ni ujuk±niyeva honti. So imehi passaddh±d²hi anuggahitak±yacitto tasmi½ samaye am±nusi½ n±ma rati½ anubhavati. Ya½ sandh±ya vutta½–
“Suññ±g±ra½ paviµµhassa, santacittassa bhikkhuno;
am±nus² rati hoti, samm± dhamma½ vipassato.
“Yato yato sammasati, khandh±na½ udayabbaya½;
labhat² p²tip±mojja½, amata½ ta½ vij±natan”ti. (Dha. pa. 373-374).
Evamassa ima½ am±nusi½ rati½ s±dhayam±n± lahut±disampayutt± passaddhi uppajjati.
Sukhanti vipassan±sukha½. Tassa kira tasmi½ samaye sakalasar²ra½ abhisandayam±na½ atipaº²ta½ sukha½ uppajjati.
Adhimokkhoti saddh±. Vipassan±sampayutt±yeva hissa cittacetasik±na½ atisayapas±dabh³t± balavat² saddh± uppajjati.
Paggahoti v²riya½. Vipassan±sampayuttameva hissa asithila½ anacc±raddha½ supaggahita½ v²riya½ uppajjati.
Upaµµh±nanti sati. Vipassan±sampayutt±yeva hissa supaµµhit± supatiµµhit± nikh±t± acal± pabbatar±jasadis± sati uppajjati. So ya½ ya½ µh±na½ ±vajjati samann±harati manasikaroti paccavekkhati, ta½ ta½ µh±namassa okkhanditv± pakkhanditv± dibbacakkhuno paraloko viya satiy± upaµµh±ti.
Upekkh±ti vipassanupekkh± ceva ±vajjanupekkh± ca. Tasmi½ hissa samaye sabbasaªkh±resu majjhattabh³t± vipassanupekkh±pi balavat² uppajjati. Manodv±re ±vajjanupekkh±pi. S± hissa ta½ ta½ µh±na½ ±vajjantassa vissaµµha-indavajiramiva pattapuµe pakkhitta tattan±r±co viya ca s³r± tikhiº± hutv± vahati.
Nikant²ti vipassan±nikanti. Eva½ obh±s±dipaµimaº¹it±ya hissa vipassan±ya ±laya½ kurum±n± sukhum± sant±k±r± nikanti uppajjati. Y± nikanti kilesoti pariggahetumpi na sakk± hoti.
Yath± ca obh±se, eva½ etesupi aññatarasmi½ uppanne yog±vacaro “na vata me ito pubbe evar³pa½ ñ±ºa½ uppannapubba½, evar³p± p²ti, passaddhi, sukha½, adhimokkho, paggaho, upaµµh±na½, upekkh±, nikanti uppannapubb±, addh± maggappattosmi phalappattosm²”ti amaggameva “maggo”ti aphalameva ca “phalan”ti gaºh±ti. Tassa amagga½ “maggo”ti aphala½ “phalan”ti gaºhato vipassan±v²thi ukkant± n±ma hoti. So attano m³lakammaµµh±na½ vissajjetv± nikantimeva ass±dento nis²dat²ti.
735. Ettha ca obh±s±dayo upakkilesavatthut±ya upakkiles±ti vutt±, na akusalatt±. Nikanti pana upakkileso ceva upakkilesavatthu ca. Vatthuvaseneva cete dasa. G±havasena pana samati½sa honti. Katha½? “Mama obh±so uppanno”ti gaºhato hi diµµhig±ho hoti, “man±po vata obh±so uppanno”ti gaºhato m±nag±ho, obh±sa½ ass±dayato taºh±g±ho, iti obh±se diµµhim±nataºh±vasena tayo g±h±. Tath± sesesup²ti eva½ g±havasena samati½sa upakkiles± honti. Tesa½ vasena akusalo abyatto yog±vacaro obh±s±d²su kampati vikkhipati. Obh±s±d²su ekeka½ “eta½ mama, esohamasmi, eso me att±”ti (ma. ni. 1.241) samanupassati. Ten±hu por±º±–
“Obh±se ceva ñ±ºe ca, p²tiy± ca vikampati;
passaddhiy± sukhe ceva, yehi citta½ pavedhati.
“Adhimokkhe ca pagg±he, upaµµh±ne ca kampati;
