So eva½ anicc±nupassan±dipaµipakkh±na½ niccasaññ±d²na½ pah±nena visuddhañ±ºo sammasanañ±ºassa p±ra½ gantv±, ya½ ta½ sammasanañ±º±nantara½ “paccuppann±na½ dhamm±na½ vipariº±m±nupassane paññ± udayabbay±nupassane ñ±ºan”ti (paµi. ma. m±tik± 1.6) udayabbay±nupassana½ vutta½, tassa adhigam±ya yoga½ ±rabhati. ¾rabham±no ca saªkhepato t±va ±rabhati. Tatr±ya½ p±¼i–
“Katha½ paccuppann±na½ dhamm±na½ vipariº±m±nupassane paññ± udayabbay±nupassane ñ±ºa½? J±ta½ r³pa½ paccuppanna½, tassa nibbattilakkhaºa½ udayo, vipariº±malakkhaºa½ vayo, anupassan± ñ±ºa½. J±t± vedan±… saññ±… saªkh±r±… viññ±ºa½… j±ta½ cakkhu…pe… j±to bhavo paccuppanno, tassa nibbattilakkhaºa½ udayo, vipariº±malakkhaºa½ vayo, anupassan± ñ±ºan”ti (paµi. ma. 1.49).
So imin± p±¼inayena j±tassa n±mar³passa nibbattilakkhaºa½ j±ti½ upp±da½ abhinav±k±ra½ “udayo”ti, vipariº±malakkhaºa½ khaya½ bhaªga½ “vayo”ti samanupassati. So eva½ paj±n±ti “imassa n±mar³passa uppattito pubbe anuppannassa r±si v± nicayo v± natthi, uppajjam±nass±pi r±sito v± nicayato v± ±gamana½ n±ma natthi, nirujjham±nass±pi dis±vidis±gamana½ n±ma natthi, niruddhass±pi ekasmi½ µh±ne r±sito nicayato nidh±nato avaµµh±na½ n±ma natthi. Yath± pana v²º±ya v±diyam±n±ya uppannasaddassa neva uppattito pubbe sannicayo atthi, na uppajjam±no sannicayato ±gato, na nirujjham±nassa dis±vidis±gamana½ atthi, na niruddho katthaci sannicito tiµµhati, atha kho v²ºañca upav²ºañca purisassa ca tajja½ v±y±ma½ paµicca ahutv± sambhoti, hutv± paµiveti. Eva½ sabbepi r³p±r³pino dhamm± ahutv± sambhonti, hutv± paµivent²”ti.
724. Eva½ saªkhepato udayabbayamanasik±ra½ katv± puna y±ni etasseva udayabbayañ±ºassa vibhaªge–
“Avijj±samuday± r³pasamudayoti paccayasamudayaµµhena r³pakkhandhassa udaya½ passati. Taºh±samuday±… kammasamuday±… ±h±rasamuday± r³pasamudayoti paccayasamudayaµµhena r³pakkhandhassa udaya½ passati. Nibbattilakkhaºa½ passantopi r³pakkhandhassa udaya½ passati. R³pakkhandhassa udaya½ passanto im±ni pañca lakkhaº±ni passati.
“Avijj±nirodh± r³panirodhoti paccayanirodhaµµhena r³pakkhandhassa vaya½ passati. Taºh±nirodh±… kammanirodh±… ±h±ranirodh± r³panirodhoti paccayanirodhaµµhena r³pakkhandhassa vaya½ passati. Vedan±kkhandhassa viya ca saññ±saªkh±raviññ±ºakkhandh±na½. Aya½ pana viseso, viññ±ºakkhandhassa phassaµµh±ne “n±mar³pasamuday±, n±mar³panirodh±”ti–
Eva½ ekekassa khandhassa udayabbayadassane dasa dasa katv± paññ±sa lakkhaº±ni vutt±ni. Tesa½ vasena evampi r³passa udayo evampi r³passa vayo, evampi r³pa½ udeti, evampi r³pa½ vet²ti paccayato ceva khaºato ca vitth±rena manasik±ra½ karoti.
725. Tasseva½ manasikaroto “iti kirime dhamm± ahutv± sambhonti, hutv± paµivent²”ti ñ±ºa½ visadatara½ hoti. Tasseva½ paccayato ceva khaºato ca dvedh± udayabbaya½ passato saccapaµiccasamupp±danayalakkhaºabhed± p±kaµ± honti.
726. Yañhi so avijj±disamuday± khandh±na½ samudaya½, avijj±dinirodh± ca khandh±na½ nirodha½ passati, idamassa paccayato udayabbayadassana½. Ya½ pana nibbattilakkhaºavipariº±malakkhaº±ni passanto khandh±na½ udayabbaya½ passati, idamassa khaºato udayabbayadassana½, uppattikkhaºeyeva hi nibbattilakkhaºa½. Bhaªgakkhaºe ca vipariº±malakkhaºa½.
727. Iccasseva½ paccayato ceva khaºato ca dvedh± udayabbaya½ passato paccayato udayadassanena samudayasacca½ p±kaµa½ hoti janak±vabodhato. Khaºato udayadassanena dukkhasacca½ p±kaµa½ hoti j±tidukkh±vabodhato. Paccayato vayadassanena nirodhasacca½ p±kaµa½ hoti paccay±nupp±dena paccayavata½ anupp±d±vabodhato. Khaºato vayadassanena dukkhasaccameva p±kaµa½ hoti maraºadukkh±vabodhato. Yañcassa udayabbayadassana½, maggov±ya½ lokikoti maggasacca½ p±kaµa½ hoti tatra sammohavigh±tato.
728. Paccayato cassa udayadassanena anulomo paµiccasamupp±do p±kaµo hoti, “imasmi½ sati ida½ hot²”ti (ma. ni. 1.404; sa½. ni. 2.21; ud±. 1) avabodhato. Paccayato vayadassanena paµilomo paµiccasamupp±do p±kaµo hoti, “imassa nirodh± ida½ nirujjhat²”ti (ma. ni. 1.406; sa½. ni. 2.21; ud±. 2) avabodhato Khaºato pana udayabbayadassanena paµiccasamuppann± dhamm± p±kaµ± honti saªkhatalakkhaº±vabodhato. Udayabbayavanto hi saªkhat±, te ca paµiccasamuppann±ti.
729. Paccayato cassa udayadassanena ekattanayo p±kaµo hoti hetuphalasambandhena sant±nassa anupacched±vabodhato. Atha suµµhutara½ ucchedadiµµhi½ pajahati. Khaºato udayadassanena n±nattanayo p±kaµo hoti navanav±na½ upp±d±vabodhato. Atha suµµhutara½ sassatadiµµhi½ pajahati. Paccayato cassa udayabbayadassanena aby±p±ranayo p±kaµo hoti dhamm±na½ avasavattibh±v±vabodhato. Atha suµµhutara½ attadiµµhi½ pajahati. Paccayato pana udayadassanena eva½dhammat±nayo p±kaµo hoti paccay±nur³pena phalassa upp±d±vabodhato. Atha suµµhutara½ akiriyadiµµhi½ pajahati.
730. Paccayato cassa udayadassanena anattalakkhaºa½ p±kaµa½ hoti dhamm±na½ nir²hakattapaccayapaµibaddhavuttit±vabodhato. Khaºato udayabbayadassanena aniccalakkhaºa½ p±kaµa½ hoti hutv± abh±v±vabodhato, pubbant±parantavivek±vabodhato ca. Dukkhalakkhaºampi p±kaµa½ hoti udayabbayehi paµip²¼an±vabodhato. Sabh±valakkhaºampi p±kaµa½ hoti udayabbayaparicchinn±vabodhato. Sabh±valakkhaºe saªkhatalakkhaºassa t±vak±likattampi p±kaµa½ hoti udayakkhaºe vayassa, vayakkhaºe ca udayassa abh±v±vabodhatoti.
731. Tasseva½ p±kaµ²bh³tasaccapaµiccasamupp±danayalakkhaºabhedassa “eva½ kira n±mime dhamm± anuppannapubb± uppajjanti, uppann± nirujjhant²”ti niccanav±va hutv± saªkh±r± upaµµhahanti. Na kevalañca niccanav±, s³riyuggamane uss±vabindu viya udakabubbu¼o viya udake daº¹ar±ji viya ±ragge s±sapo viya vijjupp±do viya ca parittaµµh±yino. M±y±mar²cisupinanta-al±tacakkagandhabbanagarapheºakadali-±dayo viya ass±r± niss±r±ti c±pi upaµµhahanti.
Ett±vat±nena “vayadhammameva uppajjati, uppannañca vaya½ upet²”ti imin± ±k±rena samapaññ±sa lakkhaº±ni paµivijjhitv± µhita½ udayabbay±nupassana½ n±ma taruºavipassan±ñ±ºa½ adhigata½ hoti, yass±dhigam± ±raddhavipassakoti saªkha½ gacchati.
