697. So tasseva pañcasu khandhesu aniccadukkh±nattasammasanassa thirabh±vatth±ya, ya½ ta½ bhagavat± “katamehi catt±r²s±ya ±k±rehi anulomika½ khanti½ paµilabhati, katamehi catt±r²s±ya ±k±rehi sammattaniy±ma½ okkamat²”ti etassa vibhaªge–
“Pañcakkhandhe aniccato, dukkhato, rogato, gaº¹ato, sallato, aghato, ±b±dhato, parato, palokato, ²tito, upaddavato, bhayato, upasaggato, calato, pabhaªguto, addhuvato, at±ºato, aleºato, asaraºato, rittato, tucchato, suññato, anattato, ±d²navato, vipariº±madhammato, as±rakato, agham³lato, vadhakato, vibhavato, s±savato, saªkhatato, m±r±misato, j±tidhammato, jar±dhammato, by±dhidhammato, maraºadhammato sokadhammato, paridevadhammato, up±y±sadhammato, sa½kilesikadhammato”ti (paµi. ma. 3.37)–

Anulomañ±ºa½ vibhajantena pabhedato anicc±disammasana½ vutta½. Tass±pi vasena ime pañcakkhandhe sammasati.

Dukkhat±s³layogit±ya, kiles±sucipaggharaºat±ya, upp±dajar±bhaªgehi uddhum±taparipakkapabhinnat±ya ca gaº¹ato. P²¼±janakat±ya, antotudanat±ya, dunn²haraº²yat±ya ca sallato. Vigarahaº²yat±ya, ava¹¹hi-±vahanat±ya, aghavatthut±ya ca aghato. Aseribh±vajanakat±ya, ±b±dhapadaµµh±nat±ya ca ±b±dhato. Avasat±ya, avidheyyat±ya ca parato. By±dhijar±maraºehi palujjanat±ya palokato. Nissit±na½ bhayas±rakatt±bh±vena asaraºato. Yath±parikappitehi dhuvasubhasukhattabh±vehi rittat±ya rittato. Rittat±yeva tucchato appakatt± v±, appakampi hi loke tucchanti vuccati. Mittamukhasapatto viya viss±sagh±tit±ya vadhakato. Vigatabhavat±ya, vibhavasambh³tat±ya ca vibhavato. ¾savapadaµµh±nat±ya s±savato. Hetupaccayehi abhisaªkhatat±ya saªkhatato. Maccum±rakilesam±r±na½ ±misabh³tat±ya m±r±misato. J±ti-jar±-by±dhimaraºapakatit±ya j±ti-jar±-by±dhi-maraºadhammato. Soka-parideva-up±y±sahetut±ya soka-parideva-up±y±sadhammato. Taºh±diµµhiduccaritasa½kiles±na½ visayadhammat±ya sa½kilesikadhammatoti eva½ pabhedato vuttassa anicc±disammasanassa vasena sammasati.
Ettha hi aniccato, palokato, calato, pabhaªguto, addhuvato, vipariº±madhammato, as±rakato, vibhavato, saªkhatato, maraºadhammatoti ekekasmi½ khandhe dasa dasa katv± paññ±sa anicc±nupassan±ni. Parato, rittato, tucchato, suññato, anattatoti ekekasmi½ khandhe pañca pañca katv± pañcav²sati anatt±nupassan±ni. Ses±ni dukkhato, rogatoti-±d²ni ekekasmi½ khandhe pañcav²sati pañcav²sati katv± pañcav²satisata½ dukkh±nupassan±n²ti.
Iccassa imin± dvisatabhedena anicc±disammasanena pañcakkhandhe sammasato ta½ nayavipassan±saªkh±ta½ aniccadukkh±nattasammasana½ thira½ hoti. Ida½ t±vettha p±¼inay±nus±rena sammasan±rambhavidh±na½.
