678. Etasseva pana n±mar³passa paccayapariggahaºena t²su addh±su kaªkha½ vitaritv± µhita½ ñ±ºa½ kaªkh±vitaraºavisuddhi n±ma.
Ta½ samp±detuk±mo bhikkhu yath± n±ma kusalo bhisakko roga½ disv± tassa samuµµh±na½ pariyesati. Yath± v± pana anukampako puriso dahara½ kum±ra½ manda½ utt±naseyyaka½ rathik±ya nipanna½ disv± “kassa nu kho aya½ puttako”ti tassa m±t±pitaro ±vajjati, evameva tassa n±mar³passa hetupaccayapariyesana½ ±pajjati.
So ±ditova iti paµisañcikkhati “na t±vidha½ n±mar³pa½ ahetuka½, sabbattha sabbad± sabbesañca ekasadisabh±v±pattito, na issar±dihetuka½, n±mar³pato uddha½ issar±d²na½ abh±vato. Yepi n±mar³pamattameva issar±dayoti vadanti, tesa½ issar±disaªkh±tan±mar³passa ahetukabh±vappattito. Tasm± bhavitabbamassa hetupaccayehi, ke nu kho te”ti.
679. So eva½ n±mar³passa hetupaccaye ±vajjetv± imassa t±va r³pak±yassa eva½ hetupaccaye pariggaºh±ti– “aya½ k±yo nibbattam±no neva uppalapadumapuº¹ar²kasogandhik±d²na½ abbhantare nibbattati, na maºimutt±h±r±d²na½, atha kho ±m±sayapakk±say±na½ antare udarapaµala½ pacchato piµµhikaºµaka½ purato katv± anta-antaguºapariv±rito sayampi duggandhajegucchapaµikk³lo duggandhajegucchapaµikk³le paramasamb±dhe ok±se p³timacchap³tikumm±sa-o¼igallacandanik±d²su kimiva nibbattati. Tasseva½ nibbattam±nassa ‘avijj± taºh± up±d±na½ kamman’ti ime catt±ro dhamm± nibbattakatt± hetu, ±h±ro upatthambhakatt± paccayoti pañca dhamm± hetupaccay± honti. Tesupi avijj±dayo tayo imassa k±yassa m±t± viya d±rakassa upanissay± honti. Kamma½ pit± viya puttassa janaka½ ¾h±ro dh±ti viya d±rakassa sandh±rako”ti. Eva½ r³pak±yassa paccayapariggaha½ katv±, puna “cakkhuñca paµicca r³pe ca uppajjati cakkhuviññ±ºan”ti-±din± (sa½. ni. 2.43) nayena n±mak±yassa paccayapariggaha½ karoti.
So eva½ paccayato n±mar³passa pavatti½ disv± yath± ida½ etarahi, eva½ at²tepi addh±ne paccayato pavattittha, an±gatepi paccayato pavattissat²ti samanupassati.

Tasseva½ samanupassato y± s± pubbanta½ ±rabbha “ahosi½ nu kho aha½ at²tamaddh±na½, na nu kho ahosi½ at²tamaddh±na½, ki½ nu kho ahosi½ at²tamaddh±na½, katha½ nu kho ahosi½ at²tamaddh±na½, ki½ hutv± ki½ ahosi½ nu kho aha½ at²tamaddh±nan”ti (ma. ni. 1.18; sa½. ni. 2.20) pañcavidh± vicikicch± vutt±, y±pi aparanta½ ±rabbha “bhaviss±mi nu kho aha½ an±gatamaddh±na½, na nu kho bhaviss±mi an±gatamaddh±na½, ki½ nu kho bhaviss±mi an±gatamaddh±na½, katha½ nu kho bhaviss±mi an±gatamaddh±na½, ki½ hutv± ki½ bhaviss±mi nu kho aha½ an±gatamaddh±nan”ti pañcavidh± vicikicch± vutt±, y±pi paccuppanna½ ±rabbha “etarahi v± pana paccuppanna½ addh±na½ ajjhatta½ katha½kath² hoti– aha½ nu khosmi, no nu khosmi, ki½ nu khosmi, katha½ nu khosmi, aya½ nu kho satto kuto ±gato, so kuhi½ g±m² bhavissat²”ti (ma. ni. 1.18) chabbidh± vicikicch± vutt±, s± sabb±pi pah²yati.
681. Aparo s±dh±raº±s±dh±raºavasena duvidha½ n±massa paccaya½ passati, kamm±divasena catubbidha½ r³passa. Duvidho hi n±massa paccayo s±dh±raºo as±dh±raºo ca. Tattha cakkh±d²ni cha dv±r±ni, r³p±d²ni cha ±rammaº±ni n±massa s±dh±raºo paccayo, kusal±dibhedato sabbappak±rass±pi tato pavattito. Manasik±r±diko as±dh±raºo. Yoniso manasik±rasaddhammassavan±diko hi kusalasseva hoti, vipar²to akusalassa, kamm±diko vip±kassa, bhavaªg±diko kiriyass±ti.
R³passa pana kamma½ citta½ utu ±h±roti aya½ kamm±diko catubbidho paccayo. Tattha kamma½ at²tameva kammasamuµµh±nassa r³passa paccayo hoti Citta½ cittasamuµµh±nassa uppajjam±na½. Utu-±h±r± utu-±h±rasamuµµh±nassa µhitikkhaºe paccay± hont²ti. Evameveko n±mar³passa paccayapariggaha½ karoti.
So eva½ paccayato n±mar³passa pavatti½ disv± yath± ida½ etarahi, eva½ at²tepi addh±ne paccayato pavattittha, an±gatepi paccayato pavattissat²ti samanupassati. Tasseva½ samanupassato vuttanayeneva t²supi addh±su vicikicch± pah²yati.

Aparo tesa½yeva n±mar³pasaªkh±t±na½ saªkh±r±na½ jar±patti½ jiºº±nañca bhaªga½ disv± ida½ saªkh±r±na½ jar±maraºa½ n±ma j±tiy± sati hoti, j±ti bhave sati, bhavo up±d±ne sati, up±d±na½ taºh±ya sati, taºh± vedan±ya sati, vedan± phasse sati, phasso sa¼±yatane sati, sa¼±yatana½ n±mar³pe sati, n±mar³pa½ viññ±ºe sati, viññ±ºa½ saªkh±resu sati, saªkh±r± avijj±ya sat²ti eva½ paµilomapaµiccasamupp±davasena n±mar³passa paccayapariggaha½ karoti. Athassa vuttanayeneva vicikicch± pah²yati.
683. Aparo “iti kho avijj±paccay± saªkh±r±”ti (sa½. ni. 2.2) pubbe vitth±retv± dassitaanulomapaµiccasamupp±davaseneva n±mar³passa paccayapariggaha½ karoti. Athassa vuttanayeneva kaªkh± pah²yati.

Aparo “purimakammabhavasmi½ moho avijj±, ±y³han± saªkh±r±, nikanti taºh±, upagamana½ up±d±na½, cetan± bhavoti ime pañca dhamm± purimakammabhavasmi½ idha paµisandhiy± paccay±, idha paµisandhi viññ±ºa½, okkanti n±mar³pa½, pas±do ±yatana½, phuµµho phasso, vedayita½ vedan±ti ime pañca dhamm± idh³papattibhavasmi½ purekatassa kammassa paccay±. Idha paripakkatt± ±yatan±na½ moho avijj±…pe… cetan± bhavoti ime pañca dhamm± idha kammabhavasmi½ ±yati½ paµisandhiy± paccay±”ti (paµi. ma. 1.47) eva½ kammavaµµavip±kavaµµavasena n±mar³passa paccayapariggaha½ karoti.
685. Tattha catubbidha½ kamma½– diµµhadhammavedan²ya½, upapajjavedan²ya½, apar±pariyavedan²ya½, ahosikammanti. Tesu ekajavanav²thiya½ sattasu cittesu kusal± v± akusal± v± paµhamajavanacetan± diµµhidhammavedan²yakamma½ n±ma. Ta½ imasmiññeva attabh±ve vip±ka½ deti. Tath± asakkonta½ pana “ahosikamma½ n±hosi kammavip±ko, na bhavissati kammavip±ko, natthi kammavip±ko”ti (paµi. ma. 1.234) imassa tikassa vasena ahosikamma½ n±ma hoti. Atthas±dhik± pana sattamajavanacetan± upapajjavedan²yakamma½ n±ma. Ta½ anantare attabh±ve vip±ka½ deti. Tath± asakkonta½ vuttanayeneva ahosikamma½ n±ma hoti. Ubhinna½ antare pañca javanacetan± apar±pariyavedan²yakamma½ n±ma. Ta½ an±gate yad± ok±sa½ labhati, tad± vip±ka½ deti. Sati sa½s±rappavattiy± ahosikamma½ n±ma na hoti.
686. Aparampi catubbidha½ kamma½– ya½ garuka½, ya½ bahula½, yad±sanna½, kaµatt± v± pana kammanti. Tattha kusala½ v± hotu akusala½ v±, garuk±garukesu ya½ garuka½ m±tugh±t±dikamma½ v± mahaggatakamma½ v±, tadeva paµhama½ vipaccati. Tath± bahul±bahulesupi ya½ bahula½ hoti sus²lya½ v± duss²lya½ v±, tadeva paµhama½ vipaccati. Yad±sanna½ n±ma maraºak±le anussaritakamma½. Yañhi ±sannamaraºo anussaritu½ sakkoti, teneva upapajjati. Etehi pana t²hi mutta½ punappuna½ laddh±sevana½ kaµatt± v± pana kamma½ n±ma hoti, tesa½ abh±ve ta½ paµisandhi½ ±ka¹¹hati.
687. Aparampi catubbidha½ kamma½– janaka½, upatthambhaka½, upap²¼aka½, upagh±takanti. Tattha janaka½ n±ma kusalampi hoti akusalampi. Ta½ paµisandhiyampi pavattepi r³p±r³pavip±kakkhandhe janeti. Upatthambhaka½ pana vip±ka½ janetu½ na sakkoti, aññena kammena dinn±ya paµisandhiy± janite vip±ke uppajjam±nakasukhadukkha½ upatthambheti, addh±na½ pavatteti. Upap²¼aka½ aññena kammena dinn±ya paµisandhiy± janite vip±ke uppajjam±nakasukhadukkha½ p²¼eti b±dhati, addh±na½ pavattitu½ na deti. Upagh±taka½ pana saya½ kusalampi akusalampi sam±na½ añña½ dubbalakamma½ gh±tetv± tassa vip±ka½ paµib±hitv± attano vip±kassa ok±sa½ karoti. Eva½ pana kammena kate ok±se ta½ vip±ka½ uppanna½ n±ma vuccati.
Iti imesa½ dv±dasanna½ kamm±na½ kammantarañceva vip±kantarañca buddh±na½ kammavip±kañ±ºasseva y±th±vasarasato p±kaµa½ hoti, as±dh±raºa½ s±vakehi. Vipassakena pana kammantarañca vip±kantarañca ekadesato j±nitabba½. Tasm± aya½ mukhamattadassanena kammaviseso pak±sitoti.
688. Iti ima½ dv±dasavidha½ kamma½ kammavaµµe pakkhipitv± eva½ eko kammavaµµavip±kavaµµavasena n±mar³passa paccayapariggaha½ karoti. So eva½ kammavaµµavip±kavaµµavasena paccayato n±mar³passa pavatti½ disv± “yath± ida½ etarahi, eva½ at²tepi addh±ne kammavaµµavip±kavaµµavasena paccayato pavattittha, an±gatepi kammavaµµavip±kavaµµavaseneva paccayato pavattissat²”ti. Iti kammañceva kammavip±ko ca, kammavaµµañca vip±kavaµµañca, kammapavattañca vip±kapavattañca, kammasantati ca vip±kasantati ca, kiriy± ca kiriy±phalañca.
Kamm± vip±k± vattanti, vip±ko kammasambhavo;
kamm± punabbhavo hoti, eva½ loko pavattat²ti.–

Samanupassati. Tasseva½ samanupassato y± s± pubbant±dayo ±rabbha “ahosi½ nu kho ahan”ti-±din± nayena vutt± so¼asavidh± vicikicch±, s± sabb± pah²yati. Sabbabhavayonigatiµµhitiniv±sesu hetuphalasambandhavasena pavattam±na½ n±mar³pamattameva kh±yati. So neva k±raºato uddha½ k±raka½ passati, na vip±kappavattito uddha½ vip±kapaµisa½vedaka½. K±raºe pana sati “k±rako”ti, vip±kappavattiy± sati “paµisa½vedako”ti samaññ±mattena paº¹it± voharanticcevassa sammappaññ±ya sudiµµha½ hoti.

“Tath± na anto kammassa, vip±ko upalabbhati;
bahiddh±pi na kammassa, na kamma½ tattha vijjati.
“Phalena suñña½ ta½ kamma½, phala½ kamme na vijjati;
kammañca kho up±d±ya, tato nibbattate phala½.
“Na hettha devo brahm± v±, sa½s±rassatthik±rako;
suddhadhamm± pavattanti, hetusambh±rapaccay±”ti.
690. Tasseva½ kammavaµµavip±kavaµµavasena n±mar³passa paccayapariggaha½ katv± t²su addh±su pah²navicikicchassa sabbe at²t±n±gatapaccuppannadhamm± cutipaµisandhivasena vidit± honti, s±ssa hoti ñ±tapariññ±.
So eva½ paj±n±ti– ye at²te kammapaccay± nibbatt± khandh±, te tattheva niruddh±, at²takammapaccay± pana imasmi½ bhave aññe nibbatt±, at²tabhavato ima½ bhava½ ±gato ekadhammopi natthi, imasmimpi bhave kammapaccayena nibbatt± khandh± nirujjhissanti, punabbhave aññe nibbattissanti, imamh± bhav± punabbhava½ ekadhammopi na gamissati. Apica kho yath± na ±cariyamukhato sajjh±yo antev±sikassa mukha½ pavisati, na ca tappaccay± tassa mukhe sajjh±yo na vattati, na d³tena mantodaka½ p²ta½ rogino udara½ pavisati, na ca tassa tappaccay± rogo na v³pasammati, na mukhe maº¹anavidh±na½ ±d±satal±d²su mukhanimitta½ gacchati, na ca tattha tappaccay± maº¹anavidh±na½ na paññ±yati, na ekiss± vaµµiy± d²pasikh± añña½ vaµµi½ saªkamati, na ca tattha tappaccay± d²pasikh± na nibbattati, evameva na at²tabhavato ima½ bhava½, ito v± punabbhava½ koci dhammo saªkamati, na ca at²tabhave khandh±yatanadh±tupaccay± idha, idha v± khandh±yatanadh±tupaccay± punabbhave khandh±yatanadh±tuyo na nibbattant²ti.
Yatheva cakkhuviññ±ºa½, manodh±tu-anantara½;
na ceva ±gata½ n±pi, na nibbatta½ anantara½.
Tatheva paµisandhimhi, vattate cittasantati;
purima½ bhijjate citta½, pacchima½ j±yate tato.
Tesa½ antarik± natthi, v²ci tesa½ na vijjati;
na cito gacchati kiñci, paµisandhi ca j±yat²ti.
691. Eva½ cutipaµisandhivasena viditasabbadhammassa sabb±k±rena n±mar³passa paccayapariggahañ±ºa½ th±magata½ hoti, so¼asavidh± kaªkh± suµµhutara½ pah²yati. Na kevalañca s± eva, “satthari kaªkhat²”ti (dha. sa. 1008) ±dinayappavatt± aµµhavidh±pi kaªkh± pah²yatiyeva, dv±saµµhi diµµhigat±ni vikkhambhanti. Eva½ n±n±nayehi n±mar³papaccayapariggahaºena t²su addh±su kaªkha½ vitaritv± µhita½ ñ±ºa½ kaªkh±vitaraºavisuddh²ti veditabba½. Dhammaµµhitiñ±ºantipi yath±bh³tañ±ºantipi samm±dassanantipi etassev±dhivacana½. Vuttañheta½–
“Avijj± paccayo, saªkh±r± paccayasamuppann±. Ubhopete dhamm± paccayasamuppann±ti paccayapariggahe paññ± dhammaµµhitiñ±ºan”ti (paµi. ma. 1.46).
“Aniccato manasikaronto katame dhamme yath±bh³ta½ j±n±ti passati, katha½ samm±dassana½ hoti, katha½ tadanvayena sabbe saªkh±r± aniccato sudiµµh± honti, kattha kaªkh± pah²yati? Dukkhato…pe… anattato manasikaronto katame dhamme yath±bh³ta½ j±n±ti passati…pe… kattha kaªkh± pah²yat²ti?
“Aniccato manasikaronto nimitta½ yath±bh³ta½ j±n±ti passati, tena vuccati samm±dassana½. Eva½ tadanvayena sabbe saªkh±r± aniccato sudiµµh± honti. Ettha kaªkh± pah²yati. Dukkhato manasikaronto pavatta½ yath±bh³ta½ j±n±ti passati…pe… anattato manasikaronto nimittañca pavattañca yath±bh³ta½ j±n±ti passati, tena vuccati samm±dassana½. Eva½ tadanvayena sabbe dhamm± anattato sudiµµh± honti. Ettha kaªkh± pah²yati.
“Yañca yath±bh³tañ±ºa½ yañca samm±dassana½ y± ca kaªkh±vitaraº±, ime dhamm± n±natth± ceva n±n±byañjan± ca, ud±hu ekatth± byañjanameva n±nanti? Yañca yath±bh³tañ±ºa½ yañca samm±dassana½ y± ca kaªkh±vitaraº±, ime dhamm± ekatth±, byañjanameva n±nan”ti (paµi. ma. 1.227).
Imin± pana ñ±ºena samann±gato vipassako buddhas±sane laddhass±so laddhapatiµµho niyatagatiko c³¼asot±panno n±ma hoti.
Tasm± bhikkhu sad± sato, n±mar³passa sabbaso;
paccaye pariggaºheyya, kaªkh±vitaraºatthikoti.
