646. Up±d±napaccay± bhavapade–
Atthato dhammato ceva, s±tthato bhedasaªgah±;
ya½ yassa paccayo ceva, viññ±tabbo vinicchayo.
Tattha bhavat²ti bhavo. So kammabhavo upapattibhavo c±ti duvidho hoti. Yath±ha– “bhavo duvidhena atthi kammabhavo, atthi upapattibhavo”ti (vibha. 234). Tattha kammameva bhavo kammabhavo, tath± upapattiyeva bhavo upapattibhavo. Ettha ca upapatti bhavat²ti bhavo. Kamma½ pana yath± sukhak±raºatt± “sukho buddh±na½ upp±do”ti (dha. pa. 194) vutto, eva½ bhavak±raºatt± phalavoh±rena bhavoti veditabbanti. Eva½ t±vettha atthato viññ±tabbo vinicchayo.
647. Dhammato pana kammabhavo t±va saªkhepato cetan± ceva cetan±sampayutt± ca abhijjh±dayo kammasaªkh±t± dhamm±. Yath±ha– “tattha katamo kammabhavo? Puññ±bhisaªkh±ro apuññ±bhisaªkh±ro ±neñj±bhisaªkh±ro (vibha. 234) parittabh³mako v± mah±bh³mako v±, aya½ vuccati kammabhavo. Sabbampi bhavag±mikamma½ kammabhavo”ti (vibha. 234). Ettha hi puññ±bhisaªkh±roti terasa cetan±. Apuññ±bhisaªkh±roti dv±dasa. ¾neñj±bhisaªkh±roti catasso cetan±. Eva½ parittabh³mako v± mah±bh³mako v±ti etena t±sa½yeva cetan±na½ mandabahuvip±kat± vutt±. Sabbampi bhavag±mikammanti imin± pana cetan±sampayutt± abhijjh±dayo vutt±.
Upapattibhavo pana saªkhepato kamm±bhinibbatt± khandh±, pabhedato navavidho hoti. Yath±ha– “tattha katamo upapattibhavo? K±mabhavo r³pabhavo ar³pabhavo saññ±bhavo asaññ±bhavo nevasaññ±n±saññ±bhavo, ekavok±rabhavo catuvok±rabhavo pañcavok±rabhavo, aya½ vuccati upapattibhavo”ti (vibha. 234). Tattha k±masaªkh±to bhavo k±mabhavo. Esa nayo r³p±r³pabhavesu. Saññ±vata½ bhavo, saññ± v± ettha bhave atth²ti saññ±bhavo. Vipariy±yena asaññ±bhavo. O¼±rik±ya saññ±ya abh±v± sukhum±ya ca bh±v± nevasaññ±, n±saññ± asmi½ bhaveti nevasaññ±n±saññ±bhavo. Ekena r³pakkhandhena vokiººo bhavo ekavok±rabhavo. Eko v± vok±ro assa bhavass±ti ekavok±rabhavo. Esa nayo catuvok±rapañcavok±rabhavesu. Tattha k±mabhavo pañca up±diººakkhandh±. Tath± r³pabhavo. Ar³pabhavo catt±ro saññ±bhavo pañca. Asaññ±bhavo eko up±diººakkhandho. Nevasaññ±n±saññ±bhavo catt±ro. Ekavok±rabhav±dayo ekacatupañcakkhandh± up±diººakkhandheh²ti evamettha dhammatopi viññ±tabbo vinicchayo.

S±tthatoti yath± ca bhavaniddese, tatheva k±ma½ saªkh±raniddesepi puññ±bhisaªkh±r±dayova vutt±, eva½ santepi purime at²takammavasena idha paµisandhiy± paccayatt±, ime paccuppannakammavasena ±yati½ paµisandhiy± paccayatt±ti punavacana½ s±tthakameva, pubbe v± “tattha katamo puññ±bhisaªkh±ro? Kusal± cetan± k±m±vacar±”ti (vibha. 226) evam±din± nayena cetan±va saªkh±r±ti vutt±. Idha pana “sabbampi bhavag±mikamman”ti (vibha. 234) vacanato cetan±sampayutt±pi. Pubbe ca viññ±ºapaccayameva kamma½ “saªkh±r±”ti vutta½. Id±ni asaññ±bhavanibbattakampi. Ki½ v± bahun±, “avijj±paccay± saªkh±r±”ti ettha puññ±bhisaªkh±r±dayova kusal±kusal± dhamm± vutt±. “Up±d±napaccay± bhavo”ti idha pana upapattibhavass±pi saªgahitatt± kusal±kusal±by±kat± dhamm± vutt±. Tasm± sabbath±pi s±tthakamevida½ punavacananti evamettha s±tthatopi viññ±tabbo vinicchayo.
649. Bhedasaªgah±ti up±d±napaccay± bhavassa bhedato ceva saªgahato ca. Yañhi k±mup±d±napaccay± k±mabhavanibbattaka½ kamma½ kar²yati, so kammabhavo. Tadabhinibbatt± khandh± upapattibhavo. Esa nayo r³p±r³pabhavesu. Eva½ k±mup±d±napaccay± dve k±mabhav±, tadantogadh± ca saññ±bhavapañcavok±rabhav±, dve r³pabhav±, tadantogadh± ca saññ±bhava-asaññ±bhava-ekavok±rabhavapañcavok±rabhav±, dve ar³pabhav±, tadantogadh± ca saññ±bhavanevasaññ±n±saññ±bhavacatuvok±rabhav±ti saddhi½ antogadhehi cha bhav±. Yath± ca k±mup±d±napaccay± saddhi½ antogadhehi cha bhav±. Tath± sesup±d±napaccay±p²ti eva½ up±d±napaccay± bhedato saddhi½ antogadhehi catuv²sati bhav±.
Saªgahato pana kammabhava½ upapattibhavañca ekato katv± k±mup±d±napaccay± saddhi½ antogadhehi eko k±mabhavo. Tath± r³p±r³pabhav±ti tayo bhav±. Tath± sesup±d±napaccay± p²ti. Eva½ up±d±napaccay± saªgahato saddhi½ antogadhehi dv±dasa bhav±. Apica avisesena up±d±napaccay± k±mabhav³paga½ kamma½ kammabhavo. Tadabhinibbatt± khandh± upapattibhavo. Esa nayo r³p±r³pabhavesu. Eva½ up±d±napaccay± saddhi½ antogadhehi dve k±mabhav±, dve r³pabhav±, dve ar³pabhav±ti aparena pariy±yena saªgahato cha bhav±. Kammabhava-upapattibhavabheda½ v± anupagamma saddhi½ antogadhehi k±mabhav±divasena tayo bhav± honti. K±mabhav±dibhedampi anupagamma kammabhava-upapattibhavavasena dve bhav± honti. Kammupapattibhedañc±pi anupagamma up±d±napaccay± bhavoti bhavavasena ekova bhavo hot²ti evamettha up±d±napaccayassa bhavassa bhedasaªgah±pi viññ±tabbo vinicchayo.
650. Ya½ yassa paccayo cev±ti yañcettha up±d±na½ yassa paccayo hoti, tatopi viññ±tabbo vinicchayoti attho. Ki½ panettha kassa paccayo hoti? Ya½kiñci yassa kassaci paccayo hotiyeva. Ummattako viya hi puthujjano. So ida½ yutta½ ida½ ayuttanti avic±retv± yassa kassaci up±d±nassa vasena ya½kiñci bhava½ patthetv± ya½kiñci kamma½ karotiyeva. Tasm± yadekacce s²labbatup±d±nena r³p±r³pabhav± na hont²ti vadanti, ta½ na gahetabba½. Sabbena pana sabbo hot²ti gahetabba½.

Sandiµµhike v± pana k±me patthayam±no paµiladdhe ca gopayam±no k±mup±d±navasena k±yaduccarit±d²ni karoti, so duccaritap±rip³riy± ap±ye upapajjati. Tatr±ssa upapattihetubh³ta½ kamma½ kammabhavo. Aparo pana saddhammassavan±d²hi upabr³hitañ±ºo “imin± kammena k±m± sampajjant²”ti maññam±no k±mup±d±navasena k±yasucarit±d²ni karoti. So sucaritap±rip³riy± devesu v± manussesu v± upapajjati. Aparo “ida½ s²labbata½ n±ma k±m±vacarasampattibhave v± r³p±r³pabhav±na½ v± aññatarasmi½ parip³rentassa sukha½ p±rip³ri½ gacchat²”ti s²labbatup±d±navasena tadupaga½ kamma½ karoti, tassa ta½ kamma½ kammabhavo. Tadabhinibbatt± khandh± upapattibhavo. Saññ±bhav±dayo pana tadantogadh± eva. Iti s²labbatup±d±na½ sappabhed±na½ s±ntogadh±na½ tiººa½ bhav±na½ paccayo hoti.
