supesal± hotha sad± sag±rav±”ti.
Aparampi vutta½– “evameva kho pah±r±da ya½ may± s±vak±na½ sikkh±pada½ paññatta½, ta½ mama s±vak± j²vitahetupi n±tikkamant²”ti (a. ni. 8.19). Imasmi½ ca panatthe aµaviya½ corehi baddhather±na½ vatth³ni veditabb±ni.

Pariggahitadhutaªgassa piº¹ap±tacariy±d²hi dhutaguºe cassa pasann±na½ santik± dhutaªganiyam±nulomena uppann± parisuddhupp±d± n±ma. Esa hi “uttama-ariyava½siko bhikkh³”ti vuccati. Ye panete c²var±dayo paccay±, tesu yassa kassaci bhikkhuno ±j²va½ parisodhentassa c²vare ca piº¹ap±te ca nimittobh±saparikath±viññattiyo na vaµµanti. Sen±sane pana apariggahitadhutaªgassa nimittobh±saparikath± vaµµanti. Tattha nimitta½ n±ma sen±sanattha½ bh³miparikamm±d²ni karontassa “ki½, bhante, kariyati, ko k±r±pet²”ti gih²hi vutte “na koci”ti paµivacana½, ya½ v± panaññampi evar³pa½ nimittakamma½. Obh±so n±ma “up±sak± tumhe kuhi½ vasath±”ti. P±s±de, bhanteti. “Bhikkh³na½ pana up±sak± p±s±do na vaµµat²”ti vacana½, ya½ v± panaññampi evar³pa½ obh±sakamma½. Parikath± n±ma “bhikkhusaªghassa sen±sana½ samb±dhan”ti vacana½, y± v± panaññ±pi evar³p± pariy±yakath±. Bhesajje sabbampi vaµµati. Tattha vinayadhar± “bhagavat± dv±ra½ dinna½, tasm± vaµµat²”ti vadanti. Suttantik± pana “kiñc±pi ±patti na hoti, ±j²va½ pana kopeti, tasm± na vaµµati”cceva vadanti.
Yo pana bhagavat± anuññ±t±pi nimittobh±saparikath±viññattiyo akaronto appicchat±diguºeyeva niss±ya j²vitakkhayepi paccupaµµhite aññatreva obh±s±d²hi uppannapaccaye paµisevati, esa “paramasallekhavutt²”ti vuccati, seyyath±pi thero s±riputto.
So kir±yasm± ekasmi½ samaye paviveka½ br³hayam±no mah±moggall±nattherena saddhi½ aññatarasmi½ araññe viharati, athassa ekasmi½ divase udarav±t±b±dho uppajjitv± atidukkha½ janesi. Mah±moggall±natthero s±yanhasamaye tass±yasmato upaµµh±na½ gato thera½ nipanna½ disv± ta½ pavatti½ pucchitv± “pubbe te, ±vuso, kena ph±su hot²”ti pucchi. Thero ±ha, “gihik±le me, ±vuso, m±t± sappimadhusakkar±d²hi yojetv± asambhinnakh²rap±y±sa½ ad±si, tena me ph±su ahos²”ti. Sopi ±yasm± “hotu, ±vuso, sace mayha½ v± tuyha½ v± puñña½ atthi, appeva n±ma sve labhiss±m±”ti ±ha.

Te “bhuñjatha– bhante, tumhe, aparampi dass±m±”ti thera½ bhojetv± puna pattap³ra½ ada½su. Thero gantv± “hand±vuso s±riputta, paribhuñj±”ti upan±mesi. Theropi ta½ disv± “atiman±po p±y±so, katha½ nu kho uppanno”ti cintento tassa uppattim³la½ disv± ±ha– “±vuso moggall±na, aparibhog±raho piº¹ap±to”ti. Yath± ca v²riyena ±j²vap±risuddhi, tath± paccayasannissitas²la½ paññ±ya samp±detabba½. Paññ±s±dhana½ hi ta½, paññavato paccayesu ±d²nav±nisa½sadassanasamatthabh±vato. Catt±ro hi paribhog± theyyaparibhogo, iºaparibhogo, d±yajjaparibhogo, s±miparibhogoti. Tatra saªghamajjhepi nis²ditv± paribhuñjantassa duss²lassa paribhogo theyyaparibhogo n±ma. S²lavato apaccavekkhitv± paribhogo iºaparibhogo n±ma. Tasm± c²vara½ paribhoge paribhoge paccavekkhitabba½, piº¹ap±to ±lope ±lope, tath± asakkontena purebhattapacch±bhattapurimay±mamajjhimay±mapacchimay±mesu. Sa½varasuddhi n±ma indriyasa½varas²la½. Tañhi “na puna eva½ kariss±m²”ti citt±dhiµµh±nasa½vareneva sujjhanato sa½varasuddh²ti vuccati. Pariyeµµhisuddhi n±ma ±j²vap±risuddhis²la½. Tañhi anesana½ pah±ya dhammena samena paccaye upp±dentassa pariyesan±ya suddhatt± pariyeµµhisuddh²ti vuccati. Paccavekkhaºasuddhi n±ma paccayasannissitas²la½. Tañhi vuttappak±rena paccavekkhaºena sujjhanato paccavekkhaºasuddh²ti vuccati. Tena vutta½ “paµiggahaºe pana sati½ akatv± paribhoge karontassa an±patt²”ti.
Sattanna½ sekkh±na½ paccayaparibhogo d±yajjaparibhogo n±ma. Te hi bhagavato putt±, tasm± pitusantak±na½ paccay±na½ d±y±d± hutv± te paccaye paribhuñjanti. Ki½panete bhagavato paccaye paribhuñjanti, ud±hu gih²na½ paccaye paribhuñjant²ti. Gih²hi dinn±pi bhagavat± anuññ±tatt± bhagavato santak± honti, tasm± bhagavato paccaye paribhuñjant²ti veditabb±. Dhammad±y±dasuttañcettha s±dhaka½.
Kh²º±sav±na½ paribhogo s±miparibhogo n±ma. Te hi taºh±ya d±sabya½ at²tatt± s±mino hutv± paribhuñjanti.
Imesu paribhogesu s±miparibhogo ca d±yajjaparibhogo ca sabbesa½ vaµµati. Iºaparibhogo na vaµµati. Theyyaparibhoge kath±yeva natthi. Yo pan±ya½ s²lavato paccavekkhitaparibhogo, so iºaparibhogassa paccan²katt± ±ºaºyaparibhogo v± hoti, d±yajjaparibhogeyeva v± saªgaha½ gacchati. S²lav±pi hi im±ya sikkh±ya samann±gatatt± sekkhotveva saªkhya½ gacchati. Imesu pana paribhogesu yasm± s±miparibhogo aggo, tasm± ta½ patthayam±nena bhikkhun± vuttappak±r±ya paccavekkhaº±ya paccavekkhitv± paribhuñjantena paccayasannissitas²la½ samp±detabba½. Eva½ karonto hi kiccak±r² hoti. Vuttampi ceta½–

Imassa ca paccayasannissitas²lassa parip³rak±rit±ya bh±gineyyasaªgharakkhitas±maºerassa vatthu kathetabba½. So hi samm± paccavekkhitv± paribhuñji. Yath±ha–
“Upajjh±yo ma½ bhuñjam±na½, s±lik³ra½ sunibbuta½;
m± heva tva½ s±maºera, jivha½ jh±pesi asaññato.
“Upajjh±yassa vaco sutv±, sa½vegamalabhi½ tad±;
ek±sane nis²ditv±, arahatta½ ap±puºi½.
“Soha½ paripuººasaªkappo, cando pannaraso yath±;
sabb±savaparikkh²ºo, natthi d±ni punabbhavo”ti.
