R±hulasuttepi “metta½, r±hula, bh±vana½ bh±veh²”ti-±din± (ma. ni. 2.120) nayena ekasseva satta kammaµµh±n±ni vutt±ni. Tasm± vacanamatte abhinivesa½ akatv± sabbattha adhipp±yo pariyesitabboti aya½ kammaµµh±na½ gahetv±ti ettha kammaµµh±nakath± vinicchayo.

Gahetv±ti imassa pana padassa ayamatthad²pan±. “Tena yogin± kammaµµh±nad±yaka½ kaly±ºamitta½ upasaªkamitv±”ti ettha vuttanayeneva vuttappak±ra½ kaly±ºamitta½ upasaªkamitv± buddhassa v± bhagavato ±cariyassa v± att±na½ niyy±tetv± sampannajjh±sayena sampann±dhimuttin± ca hutv± kammaµµh±na½ y±citabba½.
Tatra “im±ha½ bhagav± attabh±va½ tumh±ka½ pariccaj±m²”ti eva½ buddhassa bhagavato att± niyy±tetabbo. Evañhi aniyy±tetv± pantesu sen±sanesu viharanto bherav±rammaºe ±p±tham±gate santhambhitu½ asakkonto g±manta½ osaritv± gih²hi sa½saµµho hutv± anesana½ ±pajjitv± anayabyasana½ p±puºeyya. Niyy±titattabh±vassa panassa bherav±rammaºe ±p±tham±gatepi bhaya½ na uppajjati. “Nanu tay±, paº¹ita, purimameva att± buddh±na½ niyy±tito”ti paccavekkhato panassa somanassameva uppajjati. Yath± hi purisassa uttama½ k±sikavattha½ bhaveyya, tassa tasmi½ m³sik±ya v± k²µehi v± kh±dite uppajjeyya domanassa½ Sace pana ta½ ac²varakassa bhikkhuno dadeyya, athassa ta½ tena bhikkhun± khaº¹±khaº¹a½ kariyam±na½ disv±pi somanassameva uppajjeyya. ¾cariyassa niyy±tenten±pi “im±ha½, bhante, attabh±va½ tumh±ka½ pariccaj±m²”ti vattabba½. Eva½ aniyy±titattabh±vo hi atajjan²yo v± hoti, dubbaco v± anov±dakaro, yenak±ma½gamo v± ±cariya½ an±pucch±va yatthicchati, tattha gant±, tamena½ ±cariyo ±misena v± dhammena v± na saªgaºh±ti, g³¼ha½ gantha½ na sikkh±peti. So ima½ duvidha½ saªgaha½ alabhanto s±sane patiµµha½ na labhati, nacirasseva duss²lya½ v± gihibh±va½ v± p±puº±ti. Niyy±titattabh±vo pana neva atajjan²yo hoti, na yenak±ma½gamo, suvaco ±cariy±yattavuttiyeva hoti. So ±cariyato duvidha½ saªgaha½ labhanto s±sane vu¹¹hi½ vir³¼hi½ vepulla½ p±puº±ti c³¼apiº¹ap±tikatissattherassa antev±sik± viya.

49. Sampannajjh±sayena sampann±dhimuttin± ca hutv±ti ettha pana tena yogin± alobh±d²na½ vasena chah±k±rehi sampannajjh±sayena bhavitabba½. Eva½ sampannajjh±sayo hi tissanna½ bodh²na½ aññatara½ p±puº±ti. Yath±ha, “cha ajjh±say± bodhisatt±na½ bodhiparip±k±ya sa½vattanti, alobhajjh±say± ca bodhisatt± lobhe dosadass±vino, adosajjh±say± ca bodhisatt± dose dosadass±vino, amohajjh±say± ca bodhisatt± mohe dosadass±vino, nekkhammajjh±say± ca bodhisatt± ghar±v±se dosadass±vino, pavivekajjh±say± ca bodhisatt± saªgaºik±ya dosadass±vino, nissaraºajjh±say± ca bodhisatt± sabbabhavagat²su dosadass±vino”ti. Ye hi keci at²t±n±gatapaccuppann± sot±pannasakad±g±mi-an±g±mikh²º±savapaccekabuddhasamm±sambuddh±, sabbe te imeheva chah±k±rehi attan± attan± pattabba½ visesa½ patt±. Tasm± imehi chah±k±rehi sampannajjh±sayena bhavitabba½. Tadadhimuttat±ya pana adhimuttisampannena bhavitabba½. Sam±dh±dhimuttena sam±dhigarukena sam±dhipabbh±rena, nibb±n±dhimuttena nibb±nagarukena nibb±napabbh±rena ca bhavitabbanti attho.
50. Eva½ sampannajjh±say±dhimuttino panassa kammaµµh±na½ y±cato cetopariyañ±ºal±bhin± ±cariyena citt±c±ra½ oloketv± cariy± j±nitabb±. Itarena ki½ caritosi? Ke v± te dhamm± bahula½ samud±caranti? Ki½ v± te manasikaroto ph±su hoti? Katarasmi½ v± te kammaµµh±ne citta½ namat²ti evam±d²hi nayehi pucchitv± j±nitabb±. Eva½ ñatv± cariy±nuk³la½ kammaµµh±na½ kathetabba½.
