Ida½ vutta½ hoti– y±ya eva dhammas±maggiy± maggakkhaºe uppajjam±n±ya l²nuddhacc±di-anekesa½ upaddav±na½ paµipakkhabh³t±ya satidhammavicay±disattavidh±ya dhammas±maggiy± ariyas±vako bujjhati, kilesanidd±ya uµµhahati, sacc±ni v± paµivijjhati, tass± dhammas±maggisaªkh±t±ya bodhiy± aªg±ti bojjhaªg± jh±naªgamaggaªg±ni viya. Yo panesa yath±vuttappak±r±ya et±ya dhammas±maggiy± bujjhat²ti katv± ariyas±vako “bodh²”ti vuccati, tassa bodhissa aªg±ti bojjhaªg± senaªgarathaªg±dayo viya. Sabbesa½ hi bojjhaªg±na½ upak±ratt± satisambojjhaªgo paµhama½ vutto, tato yasm± upaµµhitasatiko dhamme paññ±ya pavicin±ti, pavicitadhammo v²riya½ ±rabhati, ±raddhav²riyassa p²ti uppajjati, p²timanassa k±yopi cittampi passambhati, passaddhak±yassa sukhino citta½ sam±dhiyati, sam±hitacitto ta½ citta½ s±dhuka½ ajjhupekkhit± hoti, tasm± dhammavicayasambojjhaªg±dayo yath±kkama½ vutt±ti aya½ t±vettha kamo.

Hetubh³mivibh±gatoti ettha hetuvibh±gato t±va– catt±ro satisambojjhaªgassa upp±d±ya sa½vattanti satisampajañña½ muµµhassatipuggalaparivajjanat± upaµµhitassatipuggalasevanat± tadadhimuttat±ti. Tath± satta dhamm± dutiyassa paripucchakat± vatthuvisadakiriy± indriyasamattapaµip±dan± duppaññapuggalaparivajjan± paññavantapuggalasevan± gambh²rañ±ºacariyapaccavekkhaºat± tadadhimuttat±ti. Tattha ajjhattikab±hir±na½ sar²raparikkh±rabh³t±na½ vatth³na½ visadabh±vakaraºa½ vatthuvisadakiriy± n±ma. Tath± ek±dasa dhamm± tatiyassa ap±yabhayagamanav²thid±yajjamahattasatthumahattaj±timahattasabrahmac±rimahatt±na½ paccavekkhaºat± ±nisa½sadass±vit± piº¹ap±t±pac±yanat± kus²tapuggalaparivajjanat± ±raddhav²riyapuggalasevanat± tadadhimuttat±ti. Tath± satta dhamm± pañcamassa paº²tabhojanasevanat±, utusukha-iriy±pathasukhasevanat± dve majjhattappayogat± s±raddhak±yapuggalaparivajjanat± santak±yapuggalasevanat± tadadhimuttat±ti. Ek±dasa dhamm± chaµµhassa vatthuvisadakiriy± indriyasamattapaµip±dan± nimittakusalat± samaye cittassa paggahaniggahasampaha½sanajjhupekkhan± catasso asam±hitasam±hitapuggal±na½ parivajjanasevanat± dve, jh±navimokkhapaccavekkhaºat± tadadhimuttat±ti. Tattha kasiº±dinimitt±na½ uggahaºakusalat± nimittakusalat± n±ma. Pañca dhamm± sattamassa sattasaªkh±rakel±yanamajjhattapuggal±na½ parivajjanasevanat± dve dve, tadadhimuttat±ti. Ayamettha saªkhepo, vitth±ro pana sammohavinodaniy± vibhaªgaµµhakath±ya gahetabboti ayamettha hetuvibh±go.
Bh³mivibh±gato panete k±m±vacar±, lokuttar± v± honti, k±m±vacaresu balavavipassan±d²su eva bojjhaªg± labbhanti, na itaresu. Lokuttaresu pana sabbattha labbhanti, r³p±vacar±r³p±vacaracittesu sabbath± na labbhanti abodhipakkhikatt±. Keci pana ther± vipassan±p±dakesu kasiº±subhabrahmavih±rajjh±nesupi bojjhaªge uddharanti, na ca te paµisiddh± aµµhakath±cariyehi, tasm± tesa½ matena r³p±vacar±pi honti, na kenaci pariy±yena ar³p±vacar±ti ayamettha bh³mivibh±go.
Vivekatoti ettha vivekoti vivittat±, sv±ya½ pañcavidho tadaªgavikkhambhanasamucchedapaµipassaddhinissaraºavivekavasena. Tadaªgavivekoti vipassan±, vikkhambhanavivekoti aµµha sam±pattiyo, samucchedavivekoti maggo, paµipassaddhivivekoti phala½, nissaraºavivekoti sabbanimittanissaµa½ nibb±na½. Tatrime tadaªgasamucchedapaµipassaddhinissaraºavivekanissit± honti. Tath± hete vipassan±kkhaºe kiccato tadaªgavivekanissit±, ajjh±sayato nissaraºavivekanissit±. Maggak±le pana kiccato samucchedavivekanissit±, ±rammaºato nissaraºavivekanissit±, phalakkhaºe kiccato paµipassaddhivivekanissit±. ¾rammaºato nissaraºavivekanissit± ca honti. Kesañci ther±na½ mate vipassan±p±dakar³p±vacarajjh±nakkhaºe vikkhambhanavivekanissit±v±ti pañcavivekanissit±pi hont²ti ayamettha viveko. Eva½ viññeyyo p±¼imuttavinicchayo.
