Aµµha k±m±vacarakusalacetan± ceva dv±das±kusalacetan± ca k±yadv±re pavattiya½ k±yasaªkh±ro, vac²dv±re pavattiya½ vac²saªkh±ro, et± ceva manodv±re pavattiya½, manodv±re eva pavattanak± r³p±r³pakusalacetan± ca cittasaªkh±roti vuccanti. Saªkh±rapaccay± viññ±ºañca cakkhuviññ±º±dichabbidha½ b±tti½salokiyavip±kaviññ±ºameva hoti, lokuttar±ni pana vaµµakath±ya na yujjant²ti na gahit±ni. Viññ±ºapaccay± n±mar³pa½ pana sabbalokiyaviññ±ºasampayutt± tayo ar³pino khandh±. R³pa½ sabb±ni bh³tup±d±yar³p±ni. Sa¼±yatana½ manacchaµµh±ni indriy±ni. Phasso cakkhusamphass±diko chavip±kaphasso, tath± vedan±pi. Taºh± r³pataºh±dibhedato chabbidho lobho. Up±d±na½ k±mup±d±n±dito catubbidh± lobhadiµµhiyova. Bhavo pana duvidho kammabhavo, upapattibhavoti. Tattha kammabhavo tebh³makakusal±kusalacetan± ca ta½sampayutt± abhijjh±dayo ca. Upapattibhavo pana kamm±bhinibbatt± pañcapi khandh±. So pabhedato k±mar³p±r³pabhav± tayo, saññ± asaññ± nevasaññ±n±saññ± bhav± tayo, ekacatupañcavok±rabhav± tayoti navavidho niddiµµho. J±ti-±d²ni pubbe vutt±ni. Tesu j±tiggahaºena viññ±ºan±mar³pasa¼±yatanaphassavedan±va gahit± tadavin±bh±vato. Tath± jar±maraºaggahaºen±pi tesaññeva p±kabhedatt±. Yadi eva½, kasm± avijj± ±dito vutt±ti? Padh±nadassanattha½ pana ±dito vutt±. Tiººa½ hi vaµµ±na½ avijj± padh±no hetu tass± bh±ve bh±vato, nirodhena ca nirujjhanato. Eva½ avijj±d²hi dv±dasahi aªgehi suttantabh±jan²yanayena sabbe lokiyadhamm±va paccayapaccayuppannabh±vena vutt±ti veditabb±. Abhidhammapariy±yena pana lokuttar±p²ti ayamettha dhammabhedo.

Lokuttar±na½ pana yasm± appah²n±vijjo avijj±ya pah±nattha½, paµippassambhanatthañca lokuttara½ bh±veti, tasm± samatikkamanavasena avijj±paccayat± vutt±, na sahaj±tavasena. Teneva tesa½ niddesav±resu “tattha katam± avijj±”ti avibhajitv± “tattha katamo avijj±paccay± saªkh±ro”ti (vibha. 240) vibhatta½. Kiriyadhamm±na½ pana kenaci pariy±yena avijj±m³lakatta½ natth²ti “saªkh±rapaccay± viññ±ºan”ti-±din± saªkh±ram³lak±diko nayo vutto, na avijj±m³lako. Apica lokiyakusal±d²su tesa½ dhamm±na½ dukkhasaccapariy±pannatt± “evametassa kevalassa dukkhakkhandhassa samudayo hot²”ti (vibha. 225) eva½ appan± kat±, lokuttarakusal±d²su “evametesa½ dhamm±nan”ti. Aya½ lokiyato lokuttar±na½ desan±ya visesoti aya½ abhidhammabh±jan²ye nayo.

S± ca nesa½ catuv²satiy± paccay±na½ vibh±gat± paµµh±nam±tikatthasa½vaººan±ya ±vi bhavissati. Tattha s±maññato saªkh±r±dayo avijj±dipaccayabh±ve eva bh±vinoti veditabb±. Yassa hi cat³su saccesu, pubbant±d²su ca avijj± appah²n± hoti, so dukkhe t±va pubbant±d²su ca aññ±ºena t²su bhavesu j±tijar±rogamaraº±di-anek±d²navavokiººa½ puññaphalasaªkh±ta½ saªkh±ravipariº±madukkha½ dukkhato aj±nanto sukhasaññ±ya patthetv± t²hi dv±rehi puññ±neñj±bhisaªkh±re ±rabhati. Samudaye aññ±ºena dukkhahetubh³tesupi taºh±parikkh±resu dukkhahetuka½ ±p±yik±didukkha½, dukkhahetubh³tesu k±m³pasevan±d²su ca ±d²nava½ apassanto sukhahetusaññ±ya ceva kiles±bhibh³tat±ya ca tividhepi saªkh±re ±rabhati.
