Dh±tuvibhaªgam±tik±ya pana atthato t±va– aµµh±rasa dh±tuyoti ettha vidahati, dh²yate, vidh±na½, vidh²yate et±ya, ettha v± dh²yat²ti dh±tu. Lokiy± hi dh±tuyo k±raºabh±vena vavatthit±. Anekappak±ra½ sa½s±radukkha½ vidahanti nipph±denti, sattehi ca dh²yante dh±r²yanti, dukkhavidh±namattameva cet±, et±hi ca k±raºabh³t±hi sa½s±radukkha½ sattehi anuvidh²yati, yath±vihitañca dukkha½ et±sveva dh²yati µhap²yat²ti etehi atthehi yath±sambhava½ “dh±tuyo”ti vuccanti.
Yath± v± sar²rasaªkh±tassa samud±yassa avayavabh³tesu rasasoºit±d²su aññamañña½ visabh±galakkhaºaparicchinnesu dh±tusamaññ±, evametesupi pañcakkhandhasaªkh±tassa attabh±vassa cakkh±d²su dh±tusamaññ± veditabb±. Lokiyalokuttaras±dh±raºatthavasena pana attano sabh±va½ dh±rent²ti dh±tuyo. Nijj²vamatt±nameta½ adhivacana½, tasm± yath±vuttenatthena cakkhu ca ta½ dh±tu c±ti cakkhudh±tu. Eva½ sesesup²ti aya½ t±vettha padattho.
Dhammabhedato panettha ±yatanesu vuttanayena veditabbo. Apica pañcadv±r±vajjanasampaµicchanadvayaviññ±ºa½ manodh±tu n±ma. Pañcaviññ±ºamanodh±tuvajjita½ pana sabbampi viññ±ºa½ manoviññ±ºadh±tu n±ma. Sesa½ suviññeyyameva.
Vibhaªganayato panettha suttantabh±jan²ye t±va– “pathav²dh±tu ±po tejo v±yo ±k±saviññ±ºadh±t³”ti cha dh±tuyo uddisitv± ±dito pañca ajjhattikab±hiravasena, pacchim± ca cha viññ±ºavasena vibhatt±, apar±pi “sukhadh±tu dukkhasomanassadomanassupekkh±-avijj±dh±t³”ti cha dh±tuyo uddisitv± tath± tath± vibhatt±, puna apar±pi “k±madh±tu by±p±davihi½s±nekkhamma-aby±p±da-avihi½s±dh±t³”ti cha dh±tuyo uddisitv±, eva½ t²hi chakkehi pacceka½ tebh³mak± aµµh±rasa dh±tuyo sar³pato, lakkhaº±h±rato, nissayavisayapayogavin±bh±v±dito ca vutt±ti veditabb±ti aya½ suttantabh±jan²yanayo.
Abhidhammabh±jan²ye pana sar³peneva aµµh±rasa dh±tuyo uddisitv± pas±davisayadh±tuyo ±yatane vuttanayena vibhatt±, satta viññ±ºadh±tuyo pana–
“Tattha katam± cakkhuviññ±ºadh±tu? Cakkhuñca paµicca r³pe ca uppajjati citta½…pe… cakkhuviññ±ºadh±tu. Aya½ vuccati cakkhuviññ±ºadh±tu…pe… k±yaviññ±ºadh±tu.
“Tattha katam± manodh±tu? Cakkhuviññ±ºadh±tuy±…pe… k±yaviññ±ºadh±tuy±…pe… niruddhasamanantar± uppajjati citta½…pe… sabbadhammesu v± pana paµhamasamann±h±ro uppajjati citta½…pe… aya½ vuccati manodh±tu.
“Tattha katam± dhammadh±tu? Vedan±kkhandho saññ±kkhandho saªkh±rakkhandho, yañca r³pa½ anidassana½ appaµigha½ dhamm±yatanapariy±panna½, asaªkhat± ca dh±tu…pe… aya½ vuccati dhammadh±tu.
“Tattha katam± manoviññ±ºadh±tu…pe… manodh±tuy±pi uppajjitv± niruddhasamanantar± uppajjati citta½…pe… manañca paµicca dhamme ca uppajjati citta½…pe… aya½ vuccati manoviññ±ºadh±t³”ti (vibha. 184)–

Eva½ vibhatt±. Tattha sabbadhammesu v± pana paµhamasamann±h±roti ettha pañcaviññ±ºavisayesu sabbadhammes³ti eva½ attho gahetabbo. Manodh±tuy±pi uppajjitv± niruddhasamanantar±ti ettha pana pi-k±ro sampiº¹anattho, tasm± manodh±tuy±pi sant²raºavoµµhabban±dimanoviññ±ºadh±tuy±p²ti evamattho gahetabbo. Manañca paµicc±ti-±d²su manodv±re bhavaªgamanañceva catubh³makadhamm±rammaºañca paµicca sah±vajjanakajavana½ nibbattat²ti attho. Aya½ abhidhammabh±jan²yanayo.

Pañh±pucchakanaye pana aµµh±rasanna½ dh±t³na½ kati kusal±…pe… kati araº±ti? So¼asa dh±tuyo aby±kat±, dve dh±tuyo tidh±pi honti…pe… dasa dh±tuyo nevavip±kanavip±kadhammadhamm±, pañca dh±tuyo vip±k±, manodh±tu siy± vip±k±, siy± nevavip±kanavip±kadhammadhamm±, dve dh±tuyo tidh±pi honti. T±vattato pana y± idha suttantabh±jan²ye t²hi chakkehi vutt± dh±tuyo ceva, tesu tesu sutt±bhidhammapadesesu “±bh±dh±tu…pe… anekadh±tun±n±dh±tuloko”ti-±din± ±gat± c±ti aññ±pi bahudh±tuyo dissanti, t±sampi vasena pariccheda½ avatv± kasm± aµµh±raseva vutt±ti? T±sampi tadantogadhatt±.
Apica vij±nanasabh±ve viññ±ºe j²vasaññ²na½ tass± cakkhuviññ±º±dibhedena anekata½, cakkhur³p±dipaccay±yattavuttit±ya aniccatañca pak±setv± tasmi½ d²gharatt±nusayitaj²vasaññ±sam³hananatthañca aµµh±raseva vutt±. Kiñca bhiyyo veneyyajjh±sayavasena ca. Veneyy± hi ar³pam³¼ho r³pam³¼ho ubhayam³¼hoti tividh± honti. Tesa½ tiººampi yath±kkama½ n±tisaªkhepavitth±rato ar³pabhedavibh±vin² khandhadesan±, r³pabhedavibh±vin² ±yatanadesan±, tadubhayabhedavibh±vin² dh±tudesan± sapp±y±ti veneyyajjh±sayavasena aµµh±raseva vutt±ti. Visesato panettha bheritala½ viya cakkhudh±tu daµµhabb±, daº¹o viya r³padh±tu, saddo viya cakkhuviññ±ºadh±tu. Tath± tissopi cet± yath±kkama½ ±d±satalamukhamukhanimitt±ni viya. Tath± tilayantacakkatel±ni viya, adhar±raº²-uttar±raº²-agg² viya ca daµµhabb±. Esa nayo sotadh±tu-±d²supi. Manodh±tu pana yath±sambhavato cakkhuviññ±ºadh±tu-±d²na½ purecar±nucar± viya daµµhabb±. Dhammadh±tuya½ pana vedan± sallas³lamiva saññ± rittamuµµhi viya, saªkh±r± visarukkhamiva, sukhumar³pa½ khuracakka½ viya, asaªkhat± dh±tu khemantabh³mi viya ca daµµhabb±, manoviññ±ºadh±tu pana makkaµo viya, assakha¼uªko viya, yatthak±manip±tito veh±sakkhittadaº¹o viya, raªganaµo viya ca daµµhabb±. Paccay±na½ vibh±gato panettha cakkhuviññ±ºadh±tuy± cakkhu nissayapaccayo, r³pa½ ±rammaºapaccayo, kiriy±manodh±tu anantarapaccayo, tayo ar³pino khandh± sahaj±tapaccayo. Eva½ sotaviññ±º±d²supi. Manoviññ±ºadh±tuy± pana manodh±tu anantarapaccayo, dhammadh±tu ±rammaºapaccayo, sampayuttanissayasahaj±t±dipaccayoti aya½ paccayavibh±go. Eva½ viññeyyo p±¼imuttavinicchayo.
