Imin± ajjhattabahiddhavatthukesu kasiºesu jh±napaµil±bho dassito. Ajjhatta½ ar³pasaññ²ti ajjhatta½ nar³pasaññ², attano kes±d²su anupp±ditar³p±vacarajjh±noti attho. Imin± bahiddh± parikamma½ katv± bahiddh±va paµiladdhajjh±nat± dassit±. “Subhan”ti imin± suvisuddhesu n²l±d²su vaººakasiºesu jh±n±ni dassit±ni. Tattha kiñc±pi anto-appan±ya½ “subhan”ti ±bhogo natthi, yo pana suvisuddha½ subhakasiºa½ ±rammaºa½ katv± viharati, so yasm± “subhan”ti adhimuccanavasena paµhamajjh±na½ upasampajjitv± viharati, tath± dutiy±d²ni, tasm± eva½ desan± kat±ti. Paµisambhid±magge pana “idha bhikkhu mett±sahagatena cetas± eka½ disa½ pharitv± viharat²”ti-±din± (paµi. ma. 1.212) brahmavih±ravasena subhavimokkho vutto. Dhammasaªgaºiya½ pana brahmavih±r±na½ visu½yeva ±gatatt± ta½ naya½ paµikkhipitv± sun²lak±divaseneva subhavimokkho aµµhakath±ya½ anuññ±toti idh±pi tattha vuttanayeneva vavatth±na½ katanti eva½ t±va vimokkhajh±na½ veditabba½.
Yath±nur³panti h²n±di-anur³pa½. Paµhamajjh±nañhi h²na½ kappassa tatiyabh±g±yuke brahmap±risajje upapatti½ nipph±deti, majjhima½ upa¹¹hakapp±yuke brahmapurohite, paº²ta½ ekakapp±yuke mah±brahme. Tath± dutiyajjh±na½, tatiyajjh±nañca h²na½ dvikapp±yuke paritt±bhe, majjhima½ catukapp±yuke appam±º±bhe, paº²ta½ aµµhakapp±yuke ±bhassare. Catutthajjh±na½ h²na½ so¼asakapp±yuke paritt±subhe, majjhima½ dvatti½sakapp±yuke appam±ºasubhe, paº²ta½ catusaµµhikapp±yuke subhakiºhe. Pañcamajjh±na½ pana tividhampi pañcakappasat±yuke vehapphale upapatti½ nipph±deti, tadeva titthiyehi saññ±vir±gavasena bh±vita½ pañcakappasat±yukeyeva asaññasatte. An±g±m²hi pana puthujjan±dik±le pacch±pi bh±vita½ saddh±di-indriy±dhimuttat±nukkamena yath±kkama½ sahassadvisahassacatusahassa-aµµhasahassaso¼asasahassakapp±yukesu avih±-atapp±sudass±sudass²-akaniµµhan±makesu pañcasuddh±v±sesu upapatti½ nipph±det²ti evameta½ yath±nur³pa½ so¼asar³p±vacarabrahmalok³papattinipph±dakanti ±ha “yath±nur³pa½…pe… hot²”ti.
Yasm± pana r³pabhavepi pavattiya½ labhitabb± upabhogasampatti k±m±vacarasseva phala½, tasm± idha “bhavabhogasampatti½ nipph±det²”ti avatv± upapattinipph±danameva vuttanti daµµhabba½. Ettha ca dutiyajjh±nabh³mi½ up±d±ya sabbattha paripuººassa mah±kappassa vasena paricchedo daµµhabbo, paµhamajjh±nabh³miya½ pana asaªkhyeyyakappavasena. Na hi tattha itaravasena paricchedo sambhavati ekakappepi avin±s±bh±vena mah±kappassa catutthabh±geyeva tassa saºµhahanato.
