Thoman±pubbaªgamena hi paº±mena satthu guº±tisayayogo, tato cassa anuttaravandan²yabh±vo, tena ca attano vandan±ya khettaªgatabh±vo, khettaªgat±ya ca vandan±ya yath±dhippetanipphattiy± hetubh±vo ca dassito hoti.
Tattha vanditv±ti pubbak±lakiriy±niddeso. Tassa pana os±nag±th±ya½ “pavakkh±m²”ti imin± aparak±lakiriy±vacanena saha sambandho. Buddhanti vandanakiriy±ya kammaniddeso. “Anantakaruº±paññan”ti-±dika½ pana tabbisesana½. Tattha kirat²ti karuº±, paradukkha½ vikkhipati apanet²ti attho. Kir²yati dukkhitesu pas±r²yat²ti v± karuº±. Atha v± karot²ti karuº±, paradukkhe sati s±dh³na½ kampana½ hadayakheda½ janayat²ti attho. Kiº±t²ti v± karuº±, parassa dukkha½ paccayavekallakaraºato hi½sat²ti attho. Samm±sambuddhassa hi sabbasatt±na½ dukkh±panayan±k±rappavatt± anaññas±dh±raº± mah±karuº± kañci satta½ avajjetv± sabbesu sattesu niravasesena pavattati, tath± sabbadhammasabh±vabodhanasamatth± sabbaññutaññ±ºasaªkh±t± paññ±pi sakalañeyyadhammesu anavasesato pavattati, tasm± anant±rammaºappavattakaruº±ñ±ºavantat±ya anantakaruº±pañño bhagav±. Karuº±paññ±ggahaºena cettha bhagavato sabbalokiyalokuttaraguºasampatti dassit± hoti. Tath± hi karuº±ggahaºena lokiyesu mahaggatabh±vappatt±s±dh±raºaguºad²panato sakalalokiyaguºasampatti dassit±, paññ±ggahaºena sabbaññutaññ±ºapadaµµh±namaggañ±ºad²panato sabbalokuttaraguºasampatti dassit±ti.
Apica sabbabuddhaguº±na½ karuº± ±di, paññ± pariyos±na½. Mah±karuº±sañcoditam±naso hi bhagav± sa½s±rapaªkato satt±na½ samuddharaºatth±ya kat±bhin²h±ro anupubbena p±ramiyo p³retv± anuttarasamm±sambodhiy± adhigamena sakalabuddhaguºe paµilabhi. Nayagg±ho eva hi sabbabuddhaguº±na½ dassanup±yo, itarath± t±disassa sabbaññubuddhassapi vacanapath±t²ta½ tath±gataguºa½ anupada½ vaººento ko n±ma pariyos±nam±haritu½ sakkuºeyy±ti.
Eva½ karuº±paññ±mukhena saªkhepato sakalabuddhaguºehi bhagavanta½ thometv±pi puna attano buddhaguºasa½kittane atitt±bh±vena ceva paresañca pas±dab±hullajananattha½ tadantogadhepi visiµµhaguºe padh±nabh±vena n²haritv± dassento ±ha “tath±gatan”ti-±di. Tatreva½ padasiddhi veditabb±– agado viy±ti agado, desan±vil±so ceva puññussayo ca. Tena hesa mah±nubh±vo bhisakko viya dibb±gadena sappe sabbaparappav±dino, sadevakañca loka½ abhibhavati. Iti sabbalok±bhibhavane tatho avipar²to yath±vutto agado etass±ti da-k±rassa ta-k±ra½ katv± tath±gatoti vuccat²ti ayamettha saªkhepo. Vitth±ro pana d²gh±gamasa½vaººan±d²su gahetabbo. ¾ha cettha–
“Yatheva lokamhi vipassi-±dayo,
sabbaññubh±va½ munayo idh±gat±;
tath± aya½ sakyamun²pi ±gato,
tath±gato vuccati tena cakkhum±. (D². ni. aµµha. 1.7; ma. ni. aµµha. 1.12; a. ni. aµµha. 1.1.170; bu. va½. aµµha. 1.2 nid±nakath±).
“Pah±ya k±m±dimale yath± gat±,
sam±dhiñ±ºehi vipassi-±dayo;
mahesino sakyamun² jutindharo,
tath± gato tena tath±gato mato.
“Tathañca dh±tv±yatan±dilakkhaºa½,
sabh±vas±maññavibh±gabhedato;
sayambhuñ±ºena jinoyam±gato,
tath±gato vuccati sakyapuªgavo.
“Tath±ni sacc±ni samantacakkhun±,
tath± idappaccayat± ca sabbaso;
anaññañeyyena yato vibh±vit±,
y±th±vato tena jino tath±gato.
“Anantabhed±supi lokadh±tusu,
jinassa r³p±yatan±digocare;
vicittabhede tathameva dassana½,
tath±gato tena samantalocano.
“Yato ca dhamma½ tathameva bh±sati,
karoti v±c±yanulomamattano;
guºehi loka½ abhibhuyyir²yati,

Kenaci guºena attano visiµµhassa kassaci abh±vato natthi etassa uttaroti anuttaro. Bhagavato hi av²cito paµµh±ya y±va bhavagga½ tiriya½ aparim±º±su lokadh±t³su na koci kenaci guºena samasamopi atthi, kuto pana uttaritaro. Yath±ha–
“R³pe s²le sam±dhimhi, paññ±ya ca as±diso;
vimuttiy± samasamo, dhammacakkappavattane”ti.
Vinditv±ti t²hi vandan±hi tanninnat±divasena namassitv±. K±yavac²manodv±ravasena hi tisso vandan±. Yath±ha “tisso im±, bhikkhave, vandan± k±yena vandati, vacas± vandati, manas± vandat²”ti. Tattha buddh±diguº±rammaº± k±m±vacarakusalakiriy±namaññatar± cetan± k±yaviññatti½ samuµµh±petv± k±yadv±rappavattivasena uppann± k±yavandan±ti vuccati, s±yeva vac²viññatti½ samuµµh±petv± vac²dv±rappavattivasena uppann± vac²vandan±ti, ubhayaviññattiyo pana asamuµµh±petv± kevala½ manodv±rappavattivasena uppann± manovandan±ti. Siras±ti uttamaªgena karaºabh³tena. Abujjhi, bodhet²ti v± buddho. Ayañhi catusaccadhamme sayampi abujjhi, parepi bodheti tasm± bujjhanabodhanaµµhena “buddho”ti vuccati. Yath±ha “bujjhit± sacc±n²ti buddho, bodhet± paj±y±ti buddho”ti (mah±ni. 192; c³¼ani. p±r±yanatthutig±th±niddesa 97; paµi. ma. 1.162). Atha v± budha-saddassa j±garaºavikasanatthesupi pavattanato abujjhi sav±sanasammohanidd±ya accanta½ vigato, buddhiy± vikasitav±ti v± buddho. Bhagav± hi vatthusabh±vadassanavibandhik±ya avijj±saªkh±t±ya nidd±ya ariyamaggañ±ºena saha v±san±ya samucchinnatt± tato accanta½ vigato. Paramarucirasirisobhaggasam±gamena vikasitamiva paduma½ aparimitaguºagaº±laªkatasabbaññutaññ±ºasam±gamena vikasito vik±samanuppatto, tasm± j±garaºavikasanatthavasenapi “buddho”ti vuccati.
