1173-4. Paññ± vipassan±paññ±ti idh±dhippetameva pañña½ dasseti, aññattha pana bahuvidho paññ±pabhedo hoti. Puññacittasam±yut±ti kusalacittasampayutt±. Ettha ca puñña-ggahaºena duvidhampi aby±kata½ nivatteti, tath± “atthi sa½kiliµµh±”ti eva½ pavatta½ micch±v±da½ paµisedheti. Vipassan±-ggahaºena kammassakat±divasappavatta½ sesakusalapañña½. J±nan± v± pak±ratoti vutte “kimida½ pak±rato j±nana½ n±m±”ti anuyoga½ manasi nidh±ya sañj±nanavij±nan±k±ravisiµµha½ n±nappak±rato j±nananti dassetu½ “saññ±viññ±ºapaññ±na½, ko viseso kimantaran”ti kathetukamyat±puccha½ katv± vissajjanam±ha “saññ±viññ±ºapaññ±nan”ti-±din±. 1175. Sañj±nanamatta½v±ti “n²lap²tan”ti-±dika½ ±rammaºe vijjam±na½, avijjam±na½ v± saññ±nimitta½ katv± j±nana½. Tath± hes± puna sañj±nanapaccayakaraºaras±. Matta-saddena visesanivatti-atthena vij±nanappaj±nan±k±re nivatteti, eva-k±rena kad±cipi imiss± te vises± na santiyev±ti avadh±reti. Viññ±ºa½ pana ±rammaºe pavattam±na½ na tattha saññ± viya n²lap²t±dikassa sañj±nanavaseneva pavattati, atha kho ta½ tattha aniccat±divisesa½, aññañca t±disa½ visesa½ j±nantameva pavattat²ti ±ha “viññ±ºa½ pan±”ti-±di. Katha½ pana viññ±ºa½ lakkhaºapaµivedha½ karot²ti? Paññ±ya dassitamaggena. Lakkhaº±rammaºikavipassan±ya hi anekav±ra½ lakkhaº±ni paµivijjhitv± pavattam±n±ya paguºabh±vato paricayavasena ñ±ºavippayuttacittenapi vipassan± sambhavati, yath± ta½ paguºassa ganthassa sajjh±yane ñ±y±gat±pi v±r± na viññ±yanti. Lakkhaºa½ paµivijjhitunti ca lakkhaº±na½ ±rammaºakaraºa½ sandh±ya vutta½, na paµivijjhana½.
1177. Ussakkitv±ti 220 udayabbay±diñ±ºapaµip±µiy± ±rabhitv± magga½ p±petumeva ta½ viññ±ºa½ na sakkoti asambodhasabh±vatt±. Vuttanayanti viññ±ºe vuttanaya½. S± hi ±rammaºañca j±n±ti, lakkhaºañca paµivijjhati. Attano pana anaññas±dh±raºena ±nubh±vena magga½ p±petuñca sakkoti. B±lag±mikaheraññik±na½ kah±paºaj±nanamiva ca nesa½ ±rammaºaj±nana½ veditabba½. Yath± hi heraññikaphalake µhapita½ kah±paºar±si½ eko asañj±tavoh±rabuddhi b±lad±rako, eko g±mikapuriso, eko heraññikoti t²su janesu passam±nesu b±lad±rako kah±paº±na½ cittavicittad²gharassacaturassaparimaº¹alabh±vamattameva j±n±ti, “ida½ manuss±na½ upabhogaparibhog±vaha½ ratanasammatan”ti na j±n±ti. 1178-80. Sabh±vapaµivedhananti sako bh±vo, sam±no v± bh±vo sabh±vo, tassa paµivedhana½ ñ±tapariññ±t²raºapariññ±vasena sabh±vas±maññalakkhaºapaµivedhana½. Ghaµapaµ±dipaµicch±dakassa b±hirandhak±rassa d²p±loko viya yath±vuttadhammasabh±vapaµicch±dakassa viddha½sanaras±. Uppajjam±noyeva hi ñ±º±loko hadayandhak±ra½ vidhamento uppajjat²ti ±ha “sammohanandhak±rassa, viddha½sanaras± mat±”ti. 1181-2. Dhammasabh±vapaµivedho n±ma paññ±ya ±veºiko sabh±vo, na tenass± koci vibh±go labbhat²ti ±ha “lakkhaºenekadh± vutt±”ti. Lujjanapalujjanaµµhena loko vuccati vaµµa½, tappariy±pannat±ya loke niyutt±, tattha v± vidit±ti lokik±. Tattha apariy±pannatt± alokik±. Katam± panettha lokiy±, katam± lokuttar± c±ti ±ha “lokiyen±”ti-±di. Lokiyakusalacittupp±desu maggasampayutt± lokiyena maggena yutt±. Visesato pana diµµhivisuddhi-±divisuddhicatukkasaªgahitamaggasa½yutt± samud±ye pavatt± paññ± tadekadesesupi pavattat²ti magga-ggahaºa½ kata½, paccekampi v± samm±diµµhi-±d²na½ maggasamaññ±ti katv±. Lokato uttar± uttiºº±ti lokuttar±. Lokuttar±pi hi maggasampayutt± bh±vetabb±, vipassan±pariyos±ne labbhatev±ti lokuttara-ggahaºa½ na virujjhati. Ten±ha “lokuttaren±”ti-±di. Sutamay±ditoti-±diggahaºena bh±van±maya½ saªgaºh±ti.
1183-5. Attanova cint±y±ti tassa tassa anavajjassa atthassa s±dhane paropadesena vin± attano up±yacint±vaseneva Bh³ripaññen±ti mah±paññena, patthaµat±ya pathav²sam±napaññena v±ti attho. Parato pana sutv±n±ti parato upadesa½ sutv±. Suteneva ca nipphann±ti antogatahetvatthamida½ visesana½, suteneva nipphannatt±ti attho. “Nipphannatt± sutena v±”ti v± p±µho. Yath± v±pi tath± v±ti parato sutv± v± asutv± v±. Appan±patt±ti ida½ sikh±patta½ bh±van±maya½ dassetu½ vutta½, na pana appan±patt±va bh±van±may±ti. Tissopi panet± paññ± p±¼ivasena eva½ veditabb±–

1186. Paµisambhid±catukkass±ti atthadhammaniruttipaµibh±nasaªkh±tassa paµisambhid±catukkassa vasena. Nanu cettha vipassan±paññ± adhippet±, kasm± paµisambhid± ±haµ±ti? Vipassak±na½ ñ±ºap±µavattha½ paññ±ppabhede niddisiyam±ne paµisambhid±paññ±pi vattuk±mat±ya, paµisambhid±paññ±ya v± vipassan±phalabh³tatt± lokiyalokuttarapaññ±dhik±re v± lokuttarapaññ±ya saha p±puºitabba½ paµisambhid±paññampi vattuk±mat±ya idheva vutt±ti. Atthadhammanirutt²su ñ±ºanti “atthe ñ±ºa½ atthapaµisambhid±, dhamme ñ±ºa½ dhammapaµisambhid±, tatra dhammanirutt±bhil±pe ñ±ºa½ niruttipaµisambhid±”ti (vibha. 718) evam±gata½ atth±d²su t²su pabhedagata½ ñ±ºattaya½. Abhidhammabh±jan²ye pana–
“Yasmi½ samaye k±m±vacara½ kusala½ citta½ uppanna½ hoti somanassasahagata½ ñ±ºasampayutta½ r³p±rammaºa½ v±…pe… dhamm±rammaºa½ v±, ya½ ya½ v± pan±rabbha, tasmi½ samaye phasso hoti…pe… avikkhepo hoti. Ye v± pana tasmi½ samaye aññepi atthi ar³pino dhamm±, ime dhamm± kusal±. Tesu dhammesu ñ±ºa½ dhammapaµisambhid±. Tesa½ vip±ke ñ±ºa½ atthapaµisambhid±. Y±ya niruttiy± tesa½ dhamm±na½ paññatti hoti, tatra dhammanirutt±bhil±pe ñ±ºa½ niruttipaµisambhid±. Yena ñ±ºena t±ni ñ±º±ni j±n±ti ‘im±ni ñ±º±ni idamatthajotak±n²’ti, tesu ñ±ºesu ñ±ºa½ paµibh±napaµisambhid±”ti (vibha. 725)–

Cittupp±dakkamena desan±ya pavattatt± s±vaseso p±µho kato. Cittupp±dasaªgahite atthe asesetv± desan± hi abhidhammabh±jan²ye pavatt±, na sabbañeyyeti yath±dassitavisayavacanavasena “yena ñ±ºena t±ni ñ±º±ni j±n±t²”ti vutta½, na ta½ aññ±rammaºata½ paµisedheti desan±ya atapparabh±vato. Evañca katv± tattha nibb±ne, an±gatepi atthapaµisambhid± siy± na vattabb± at²t±rammaº±tipi an±gat±rammaº±tipi paccuppann±rammaº±tip²ti atthapaµisambhid±ya nibb±n±rammaºat± vutt±. Ettha ca atthoti saªkhepato hetuphalasseta½ adhivacana½. Hetuphalañhi yasm± hetu-anus±rena ar²yati adhigam²yati samp±puº²yati, tasm± atthoti vuccati. Dhammotipi saªkhepato paccayasseta½ adhivacana½. So hi yasm± ta½ ta½ dahati pavatteti, samp±puºitu½ v± dh±reti, tasm± dhammoti vuccati. Nirutt²ti satt±na½ m³labh±s±bh³t± m±gadhikabh±s±, y±ya buddh±na½ desan± hoti. Paµibh±nanti heµµh± vutta½ ñ±ºattayameva. Vuttañheta½ abhidhamme “dukkhe ñ±ºa½…pe… tassa vip±ke ñ±ºa½ atthapaµisambhid±”ti-±di.
