Karaºa½ k±ro, manasmi½ k±ro manasik±ro, so cetaso ±rammaºe samann±h±ralakkhaºo. Vitakko hi sahaj±tadhamm±na½ ±rammaºe abhiniropanasabh±vatt± te tattha pakkhipanto viya hoti, cetan± attan± ±rammaºaggahaºena yath±ru¼he dhammepi tattha tattha niyojent² balan±yako viya hoti, manasik±ro te ±rammaº±bhimukha½ payojanato ±j±n²y±na½ payojanakas±rathi viy±ti ayametesa½ viseso. Dhamm±nañhi ta½ ta½ y±th±vasarasalakkhaºa½ sabh±vato paµivijjhitv± bhagavat± te te dhamm± vibhatt±ti bhagavati saddh±ya “eva½ vises± ime dhamm±”ti okappetv± uggahaºaparipucch±divasena tesa½ sabh±vasamadhigam±ya yogo karaº²yo, na pana tattha tattha vippaµipajjantehi sammoho ±pajjitabboti ayamettha ±cariy±na½ anus±san². Sabbesampi ek³nanavuticitt±na½ s±dh±raº± niyamato tesu uppajjanatoti sabbacittas±dh±raº± n±ma.
3. Adhimuccana½ adhimokkho, so sanniµµh±nalakkhaºo, ±rammaºe niccalabh±vena indakh²lo viya daµµhabbo. V²r±na½ bh±vo, kamma½, vidhin± ²rayitabba½ pavattetabbanti v± v²riya½, uss±ho, so sahaj±t±na½ upatthambhanalakkhaºo. V²riyavasena hi tesa½ ol²navuttit± na hoti. Evañca katv± imassa vitakk±d²hi viseso sup±kaµo hoti. Chandana½ chando, ±rammaºena atthikat±, so kattuk±mat±lakkhaºo. Tath± hesa “±rammaºaggahaºe cetaso hatthappas±raºa½ viy±”ti (dha. sa. aµµha. 1 yev±panakavaººan±) vuccati. D±navatthuvissajjanavasena pavattak±lepi cesa vissajjitabbena tena atthikova khipitabba-us³na½ gahaºe atthiko iss±so viya. Sobhanesu taditaresu ca pak±rena kiºº± vippakiºº±ti pakiººak±.
4. Sobhan±pekkh±ya itare, itar±pekkh±ya sobhan± ca aññe n±ma, tesa½ sam±n± na uddhaccasaddh±dayo viya akusal±disabh±v±yev±ti aññasam±n±.
