N±pajjati niru¼hatt±, niru¼ho hesa cakkhu-saddo daµµhuk±mat±nid±nakammajabh³tappas±dalakkhaŗe cakkhuppas±deyeva may³r±disadd± viya sakuŗavises±d²su, cakkhun± sahavuttiy± pana bhamukaµµhiparicchinno ma½sapiŗ¹opi “cakkh³”ti vuccati. 10. Sukhayati k±yacitta½, suµµhu v± khanati k±yacitt±b±dha½, sukhena khamitabbanti v± sukha½. “Sukaramok±sad±na½ etass±ti sukhan”ti apare. Kasm± pana yath± akusalavip±kasant²raŗa½ ekameva vutta½, evamavatv± kusalavip±kasant²raŗa½ dvidh± vuttanti? Iµµha-iµµhamajjhatt±rammaŗavasena vedan±bhedasambhavato. Yadi eva½ tatth±pi aniµµha-aniµµhamajjhatt±rammaŗavasena vedan±bhedena bhavitabbanti? Nayidameva½ aniµµh±rammaŗe uppajjitabbassapi domanassassa paµighena vin± anuppajjanato, paµighassa ca ekant±kusalasabh±vassa aby±katesu asambhavato. Na hi bhinnaj±tiko dhammo bhinnaj±tikesu upalabbhati, tasm± attan± sam±nayogakkhamassa asambhavato akusalavip±kesu domanassa½ na sambhavat²ti tassa ta½sahagatat± na vutt±. Tesańhi catunnampi vatthubh³t±ni cakkh±d²ni up±d±r³p±neva, tath± ±rammaŗabh³t±nipi r³p±d²ni, up±d±r³pakena ca up±d±r³pakassa saŖghaµµana½ atidubbala½ picupiŗ¹akena picupiŗ¹akassa phusana½ viya, tasm± t±ni sabbath±pi upekkh±sahagat±neva. K±yavińń±ŗassa pana phoµµhabbasaŖkh±tabh³tattayameva ±rammaŗanti ta½ k±yappas±de saŖghaµµitampi ta½ atikkamitv± tannissayesu mah±bh³tesu paµihańńati. Vuttavipariy±yato kusalavip±kasant²raŗa½ iµµha-iµµhamajjhatt±rammaŗesu sukhopekkh±sahagatanti. Yadi eva½ ±vajjanadvayassa upekkh±sampayoga½ kasm± vakkhati, nanu tampi sam±nanissay±nantara½ pavattat²ti? Sacca½, tattha pana purima½ pubbe kenaci aggahiteyeva ±rammaŗe ekav±rameva pavattati, pacchimampi visadisacittasant±napar±vattanavasena by±p±rantaras±pekkhanti na sabbath±pi visayarasamanubhavitu½ sakkoti, tasm± majjhattavedan±sampayuttamev±ti. dubbala½ iti cakkh±di-catucittamupekkhaka½.
“K±yanissayaphoµµhabba-bh³t±na½ ghaµµan±ya tu;
balavatt± na vińń±ŗa½, k±yika majjhavedana½.
“Sam±nanissayo yasm±, natth±nantarapaccayo;
tasm± dubbalam±lambe, sopekkha½ sampaµicchanan”ti.
Kusalassa vip±k±ni, sampayuttahetuvirahato ahetukacitt±ni c±ti kusalavip±k±hetukacitt±ni. Nibbattakahetuvasena nipphann±nipi het±ni sampayuttahetuvaseneva ahetukavoh±ra½ labhanti, itarath± mah±vip±kehi imesa½ n±natt±sambhavato. 11. Id±ni ahetuk±dhik±re ahetukakiriyacitt±nipi kiccabhedena tidh± dassetu½ “upekkh±sahagatan”ty±di vutta½. Cakkh±dipańcadv±re ghaµµitam±rammaŗa½ ±vajjeti tattha ±bhoga½ karoti, cittasant±na½ v± bhavaŖgavasena pavattitu½ adatv± v²thicittabh±v±ya pariŗ±met²ti pańcadv±r±vajjana½, kiriy±hetukamanodh±tucitta½. ¾vajjanassa anantarapaccayabh³ta½ bhavaŖgacitta½ manodv±ra½ v²thicitt±na½ pavattimukhabh±vato. Tasmi½ diµµhasutamut±divasena ±p±tham±gatam±rammaŗa½ ±vajjeti vuttanayena v± cittasant±na½ pariŗ±met²ti manodv±r±vajjana½, kiriy±hetukamanovińń±ŗadh±tu-upekkh±sahagatacitta½. Idameva ca pańcadv±re yath±sant²rita½ ±rammaŗa½ vavatthapet²ti voµµhabbananti ca vuccati. Hasita½ upp±det²ti hasitupp±da½, kh²ŗ±sav±na½ ano¼±rik±rammaŗesu pahaµµh±k±ramattahetuka½ kiriy±hetukamanovińń±ŗadh±tusomanassasahagatacitta½.
