Eva½ t±va yath±dhippetappayojananimitta½ ratanattayapaº±m±dika½ vidh±ya id±ni yesa½ abhidhammatth±na½ saªgahaºavasena ida½ pakaraºa½ paµµhap²yati, te t±va saªkhepato uddisanto ±ha “tattha vutt±”ty±di. Tattha tasmi½ abhidhamme sabbath± kusal±divasena, khandh±divasena ca vutt± abhidhammatth± paramatthato sammuti½ µhapetv± nibbattitaparamatthavasena citta½ viññ±ºakkhandho, cetasika½ vedan±dikkhandhattaya½, r³pa½ bh³tup±d±yabhedabhinno r³pakkhandho, nibb±na½ maggaphal±nam±rammaºabh³to asaªkhatadhammoti eva½ catudh± cat³h±k±rehi µhit±ti yojan±. Tattha paramo uttamo avipar²to attho, paramassa v± uttamassa ñ±ºassa attho gocaroti paramattho.
Cintet²ti citta½, ±rammaºa½ vij±n±t²ti attho. Yath±ha “visayavij±nanalakkhaºa½ cittan”ti (dha. sa. aµµha. 1 dhammudesav±raphassapañcamakar±sivaººan±). Satipi hi nissayasamanantar±dipaccayena vin± ±rammaºena cittamuppajjat²ti tassa ta½lakkhaºat± vutt±, etena nir±rammaºav±dimata½ paµikkhitta½ hoti. Cintenti v± etena karaºabh³tena sampayuttadhamm±ti citta½. Atha v± cintanamatta½ citta½. Yath±paccaya½ hi pavattimattameva yadida½ sabh±vadhammo n±ma. Evañca katv± sabbesampi paramatthadhamm±na½ bh±vas±dhanameva nippariy±yato labbhati, kattukaraºavasena pana nibbacana½ pariy±yakath±ti daµµhabba½. Sakasakakiccesu hi dhamm±na½ attappadh±nat±sam±ropanena kattubh±vo ca, tadanuk³labh±vena sahaj±tadhammasam³he kattubh±vasam±ropanena paµip±detabbadhammassa karaºattañca pariy±yatova labbhati, tath±nidassana½ pana dhammasabh±vavinimuttassa katt±dino abh±vaparid²panatthanti veditabba½. Vicittakaraº±ditopi cittasaddattha½ papañcenti. Aya½ panettha saªgaho–
“Vicittakaraº± citta½, attano cittat±ya v±;
cita½ kammakilesehi, cita½ t±yati v± tath±;
cinoti attasant±na½, vicitt±rammaºanti c±”ti.
Cetasi bhava½ tad±yattavuttit±y±ti cetasika½. Na hi ta½ cittena vin± ±rammaºaggahaºasamattha½ asati citte sabbena sabba½ anuppajjanato, citta½ pana kenaci cetasikena vin±pi ±rammaºe pavattat²ti ta½ cetasikameva citt±yattavuttika½ n±ma. Ten±ha bhagav± “manopubbaªgam± dhamm±”ti (dha. pa. 1-2), etena sukh±d²na½ acetanattaniccatt±dayo vippaµipattiyopi paµikkhitt± honti. Cetasi niyutta½ v± cetasika½.
Ruppat²ti r³pa½, s²tuºh±divirodhipaccayehi vik±ram±pajjati, ±p±d²yat²ti v± attho. Ten±ha bhagav± “s²tenapi ruppati, uºhenapi ruppat²”ty±di (sa½. ni. 3.79), ruppanañcettha s²t±divirodhipaccayasamav±ye visadisuppattiyeva. Yadi eva½ ar³padhamm±nampi r³pavoh±ro ±pajjat²ti? N±pajjati s²t±diggahaºas±matthiyato vibh³tatarasseva ruppanass±dhippetatt±. Itarath± hi “ruppat²”ti avisesavacaneneva pariyattanti ki½ s²t±diggahaºena, ta½ pana s²t±din± phuµµhassa ruppana½ vibh³tatara½, tasm± tadevetth±dhippetanti ñ±panattha½ s²t±diggahaºa½ kata½. Yadi eva½ katha½ brahmaloke r³pavoh±ro, na hi tattha upagh±tak± s²t±dayo atth²ti? Kiñc±pi upagh±tak± natthi, anugg±hak± pana atthi, tasm± ta½vasenettha ruppana½ sambhavat²ti, atha v± ta½sabh±v±nativattanato tattha r³pavoh±roti alamatippapañcena.
Bhav±bhava½ vinanato sa½sibbanato v±nasaªkh±t±ya taºh±ya nikkhanta½, nibb±ti v± etena r±gaggi-±dikoti nibb±na½.
