Samud±ye ekades± antogadh±ti samud±yo tesa½ adhiµµh±nabh±vena vutto yath± “rukkhe s±kh±”ti dasseti “kath±samud±yass±”ti-±din±. Tattha kath±nanti tisso kath± v±do jappo vitaŗ¹±ti. Tesu yena pam±ŗatakkehi pakkhapaµipakkh±na½ patiµµh±panapaµikkhep± honti, so v±do. Ek±dhikaraŗ± hi ańńamańńaviruddh± dhamm± pakkhapaµipakkh± yath± “hoti tath±gato para½ maraŗ±, na hoti tath±gato para½ maraŗ±”ti (d². ni. 1.65). N±n±dhikaraŗ± pana ańńamańńaviruddh±pi pakkhapaµipakkh± n±ma na honti yath± “anicca½ r³pa½, nicca½ nibb±nan”ti. Yena chalaj±tiniggahaµµh±nehi pakkhapaµipakkh±na½ patiµµh±pana½ paµikkhep±rambho, so jappo. ¾rambhamattamevettha, na atthasiddh²ti dassanattha½ ±rambhaggahaŗa½. Y±ya pana chalaj±tiniggahaµµh±nehi paµipakkhapaµikkhep±ya v±yamanti, s± vitaŗ¹±. Tattha atthavikappupapattiy± vacanavigh±to chala½ yath± “navakambaloya½ puriso, r±j± no sakkh²”ti evam±di D³sanabh±s± j±tayo, uttarapatir³pak±ti attho. Niggahaµµh±n±ni parato ±vi bhavissanti. Eva½ v±dajappavitaŗ¹appabhed±su t²su kath±su idha v±dakath± “kath±”ti adhippet±. S± ca kho avipar²tadhammat±ya patiµµh±panavasena, na vigg±hikakath±bh±ven±ti veditabba½. M±tik±µhapanenev±ti uddesadesan±ya eva. Żhapitass±ti desitassa. Desan± hi desetabbamattha½ vineyyasant±nesu µhapanato nikkhipanato µhapana½, nikkhepoti ca vuccati.
