Idañca dvaya½ yath±nulome sambhavati, na eva½ paµilome. Ten±ha “na eva½…pe… sambhavant²”ti. Tattha k±raºam±ha “abh³t±bh±vassa…pe… sambhav±nupapattito”ti. Abh³t±bh±vass±ti abh³tassa abh±vassa, abh³tassa upp±dassa nirodhassa ca abh±vass±ti adhipp±yo. Ten±ha “abh³tupp±danirodh±bh±vo ca paµilome pucchito”ti, tasm± “±mant±”ti ca vutta½, na vutta½ vissajjananti sambandho. T±dis±na½yeva an±gat±na½yeva upapatticuti-upp±danirodh±na½ upapatticutisaªkh±ta-upp±danirodh±na½ anupp±d±nirodh±na½ paµikkhepavasena. J²vit±d²nampi j²vitamanindriy±d²nampi. Anupp±d±nirodh± sa½sayapadena pucchit± honti “yassa somanassindriya½ nuppajjissati, tassa somanassindriya½ na nirujjhissat²”ti. “¾mant±”ti vutta½ vibhajitv± vattabbassa abh±vato.
