Uppajjan±nusay±na½ ninn±n±karaºatt± eva hi “etthes± taºh± uppajjam±n± uppajjati, ettha nivisam±n± nivisat²”ti vibhaªge (vibha. 203) ±gata½. Anusayanañhi ettha nivisananti adhippeta½.
Id±ni yena pariy±yena at²tapaccuppannesu anusayavoh±ro, ta½ dassetuk±mo an±gatampi tehi saddhi½ ekajjha½ katv± dassento “anur³pa½ k±raºa½ pana…pe… vuccant²”ti ±ha. Etena bh³tapubbagatiy± at²tapaccuppannesu uppattirahat± veditabb±ti dasseti. Uppatti-arahat± n±ma kiles±na½ maggena asamucchinnat±ya veditabb±. “Yassa k±mar±g±nusayo anuseti, tassa paµigh±nusayo anuset²ti? ¾mant±”ti-±din± (yama. 2.anusayayamaka.3) anusayav±re vutto eva attho “yassa k±mar±g±nusayo uppajjati, tassa paµigh±nusayo uppajjat²ti? ¾mant±”ti-±din± (yama. 2.anusayayamaka.300) vuttoti anusayan±k±ro eva uppajjanav±re uppajjati-saddena gahitoti “uppajjanav±ro anusayav±rena ninn±n±karaºo vibhatto”ti ya½ vutta½, tattha vic±ra½ ±rabhati “anusaya-uppajjanav±r±na½ sam±nagatikatt±”ti-±din±. “Uppajjat²”ti vacana½ siy±ti uppajjanav±re “uppajjat²”ti vacana½ appah²n±k±rad²paka½ siy±.
