Eva½ itaravatth³hi asam±nagatikatt± desan±bhedato ca duk±d²su uddese na gahita½. Uddiµµhasseva hi niddisanato niddesepi na gahita½ hadayavatth³ti vadanti.

Anekatth± hi sadd±ti adhipp±yen±ha “vaµµa½ parimaº¹alan”ti. Ettha ca sineruyugandhar±d²na½ samuddato upari-adhobh±g±na½ vasena ubbedho vutto, ±y±mavitth±rehipi sineru catur±s²tiyojanasahassaparim±ºova. Yath±ha “sineru, bhikkhave, pabbatar±j± catur±s²ti yojanasahass±ni ±y±mena, catur±s²ti yojanasahass±ni vitth±ren±”ti (a. ni. 7.66). Sineru½ p±k±raparikkhepavasena parikkhipitv± µhit± yugandhar±dayo, sineruyugandhar±d²na½ antarepi s²tasamudd± n±ma. “Te vis±lato yath±kkama½ sineru-±d²na½ accuggamanasam±naparim±º±”ti vadanti.

Satipi lakkhaº±dibhede ekasmi½ eva k±le ekasmi½ sant±ne anekasatasahassakal±pavuttito mahant±ni bah³ni bh³t±ni paramatthato vijjam±n±n²ti v± mah±bh³t±ni yath± “mah±jano”ti. Evanti “up±d±ya pavattan”ti atthe sati paµiccasamuppannat± vutt± hoti paccayasambh³tat±d²panato. Up±d±yat²ti up±d±yati ev±ti adhipp±yo.
