Tividhay±namukhena vimuttidhamma½ yath±rahamanus±sat²ti satth±. Paºamana½ paº±mo, k±yav±c±cittehi satthu guºaninnat±. Kiriy± karaºa½, paº±massa karaºa½ paº±makaraºa½, vandan±payogo. So ca kiñc±pi “id±ni adhippeta½ paº±ma½ karonto”ti-±din± “tassa p±de namassitv±”ti-±dikassa adhippetapaº±mabh±va½ dassessati, “karuº± viy±”ti-±dikassa pana sabbassa thoman±vasena vuttassapi vasena veditabbo. So hi satthu mah±karuº±diguºavisesakittanavasena pavatto mah±karuº±diguºavises±vin±bh±vin± sa½vaººiyam±nasa½vaººan±dhammavibh±vitena dhammassa sv±kkh±tabh±vena sv±kkh±tadhamme satthari anuppannasaddh±na½ saddh±janan±ya, uppannasaddh±nañca bhiyyobh±v±ya hoti. Satthuno ca avipar²tadhammadesanabh±vena avitathadesan±bh³te dhammeti etena satthuno mah±karuº±diguº±na½yeva ca phalavisesanipph±danasamatthat±ya pas±d±vahata½ ±ha. Dhammena hi satthusiddhi, satth±r± ca dhammasiddhi, dhammasampattiy±pi satthuguºat±ya satthuguºavibh±vanena sampajjat²ti.
Eva½ satthari paº±makaraºassa eka½ payojana½ dassetv± id±ni sambandha½ vibh±veti “tadubhayappas±d± h²”ti-±din±. Na hi satthari dhamme v± appasanno sa½vaººiyam±ne tadadhigantabbe ca dhamme samm± paµipajjati, n±pi s²l±di-anup±d±parinibb±nanta½ mahanta½ attha½ s±dheti, tasm± dhammasa½vaººan±su paresa½ samm±paµipatti-±kaªkh±ya tath±r³padhammapaµigg±hakehi ca viniyojitena satthari dhamme ca pas±dupp±dana½ satthari paº±makaraºa½ vihitanti adhipp±yo.
Bhagavato guºasa½kittana½ tassa dhammasaªgh±nampi thoman± hotiyev±ti vutta½ “ratanattayapaº±mavacanan”ti. Tath± ca vakkhati “bhagavato thomanenev±”ti-±di (dha. sa. m³laµ². 6). Vakkham±na½ v± “saddhammañcassa p³jetv±”ti-±di½ sandh±ya vutta½. Viññ±panattha½ paresa½ viññ³nanti v± sambandhan²ya½. Aviññ³na½ appam±ºat±ya abh±janat±ya ca viññ³na½ gahaºa½. Te hi buddh±d²su sag±ravassa pam±ºabh³tata½ j±nant± tassa vacana½ sotabba½ saddh±tabba½ maññanti, sammadeva ca na½ anutiµµhant± tadadhipp±ya½ p³renti. Idh±pi purimanayeneva sambandho veditabbo pas±daviññ±pan±dimukhenapi samm±paµipatti-±kaªkh±ya paveditatt±.
Ettha ca paµhamo atthavikappo saddh±nus±r²na½ puggal±na½ vasena vutto, dutiyo dhamm±nus±r²na½. Paµhamo v± asa½siddhasatthudhamm±na½ vasena vutto, dutiyo sa½siddhasatthudhamm±na½. Tath± paµhamo paµhame ratane paº±makiriy±dassanaparo, dutiyo itaresup²ti aya½ viseso veditabbo.
Paº±mo kar²yati et±y±ti paº±makaraºa½, paº±makiriy±bhinipph±dik± cetan±. S± hi khettasampattiy± ±cariyassa ca ajjh±sayasampattiy± diµµhadhammavedan²yabh³t± yath±laddhasampattinimittakassa kammassa bal±nuppad±navasena purimakammanipphannassa vip±kasant±nassa antar± vemajjhe ±yanti ±patant²ti antar±y±ti laddhan±m±na½ rog±di-anatth±na½ vidh±yakassa upap²¼akassa upacchedakassa v± kammassa viddha½sanasamattho puññ±tisayoti imamattha½ dasseti “ratanattayapaº±ma…pe… visesabh±vato”ti. Evañca katv± r±g±dipariyuµµh±n±bh±vavacanena antar±yassa k±raºabh³t±ya payogavipattiy± abh±vassa, atthal±bh±divacanena anantar±yat±hetubh³t±ya payogasampattiy± sabbh±vassa, “saby±pajjh±ya paj±ya aby±pajjho viharat²”ti (a. ni. 6.10; 11.11) vacanena diµµheva dhamme sukhavih±rit±ya ca pak±sana½ mah±n±masutta½yeva ud±haµa½.
Guºavisesadassanatthanti etena satipi k±yamanopaº±m±na½ antar±yavisosanasamatthabh±ve tehi paº±mavisayassa paº±m±rahabh±vavibh±vanena s±tisayo vac²paº±mo vihitoti dasseti. Guºavisesav± h²ti-±din± ±cariyassa yuttapattak±rita½ dasseti. Desan± vinayapiµaketi ettha nanu vinayapiµakassapi desan±bh±vato desan±vinayapiµak±na½ bhedavacana½ na yuttanti? Desan±k±le v± manas± vavatth±pit±ya vinayatantiy± vinayapiµakabh±vato tadatthapaññ±panassa ca desan±bh±vato bhedavacana½. Atha v± des²yati eten±ti desan±, desan±samuµµh±pako cittupp±do, tassa ca vinayapiµakavisayo karuº±pubbaªgamo ca soti evamettha bhedavacanopapatti daµµhabb±. Suttantapiµaketi-±d²supi eseva nayo.
Katha½ pana bhagavato desan± vinayapiµake karuº±ppadh±n±, sutt±bhidhammapiµakesu ca paññ±karuº±paññ±ppadh±n±ti viññ±yat²ti? Yato ukka½sapariyantagatahirottappopi bhagav± lokiyas±dhujanehipi pariharitabb±ni “sikharaº²”ti-±d²ni vacan±ni yath±par±dhañca garahavacan±ni vinayapiµakadesan±ya½ mah±karuº±sañcoditam±naso mah±parisamajjhe abh±si, ta½ta½sikkh±padapaññattik±raº±pekkh±ya verañj±d²su s±r²rikañca khedamanubhosi, tasm± kiñc±pi bh³mantarapaccay±k±rasamayantarakath±na½ viya vinayapaññattiy±pi samuµµh±pik± paññ± anaññas±dh±raºat±ya atisayakiccavat², tatopi karuº±ya kicca½ adhikanti adhipp±yena vutta½ “vinayapiµake karuº±ppadh±n±”ti. Karuº±by±p±r±dhikat±ya hi desan±ya karuº±ppadh±nat±, suttantadesan±ya mah±karuº±sam±pattibahulo veneyyasant±nesu tadajjh±say±nulomena gambh²ramatthapada½ patiµµhapes²ti karuº±paññ±ppadh±nat±, abhidhammadesan±ya pana sabbaññutaññ±ºassa visayabh±vappahonako r³p±r³paparicchedo dhammasabh±v±nurodhena pavattitoti paññ±ppadh±nat±. Teneva ca k±raºen±ti-±din± desan±nur³pata½ta½sa½vaººan±ya thoman± ±cariyassa pakat²ti dasseti.
Kusal± r³pa½ cakkhum± dasa d±¼im±di sam³havasena atth±navabodhanattho viya atth±vabodhanattho hi saddappayogo attapar±dh²no kevalo atthapadatthako, so padatthavipariyesak±rin± iti-saddena saddapadatthako j±yat²ti ±ha “karuº± viy±ti nidassanavacanan”ti. Nidassanañhi n±ma nidassitabbadhamme tena ca sambandhe sati hoti, n±ññath±ti tassa nidassanabh±va½ vibh±vento ±ha “yassa yath±…pe… pavattitth±ti attho”ti.
“Tattha karuº± viy±ti nidassanavacanan”ti-±din± nidassananidassitabbadhamm±na½ ±dh±ravisayaby±p±rehi savisesanehi saha pak±sanavasena g±th±ya atthatatva½ dassetv± avayavabhedavasena attha½ dassetu½ “kirat²ti karuº±”ti-±di vutta½. Tattha nicchandar±g±na½ bh³tapubbagatiy± v± sattat± veditabb±. Ekassapi dhammassa anekas±maññ±k±ravantat±ya “yath±sabh±va½ pak±reh²”ti vutta½. Tath± hi vutta½– “sabbe dhamm± sabb±k±ren±”ti (mah±ni. 156; c³¼ani. moghar±jam±ºavapucch±niddesa 85; paµi. ma. 3.5) dhamm±na½ aññeyyatta½ paµikkhipati ñ±tu½ asakkuºeyyatt±bh±vato. Etena tass± paññ±ya akicchavuttita½ ±ha. Yatheva hi “ñeyyesu sabbesu pavattitth±”ti ett±vat± adhippetatthe siddhe tesa½ attattaniyat±virahasa½s³canattha½ paresa½ satt±dimicch±g±hapaµisedhanena dhamma-saddena ñeyy± visesitabb±, eva½ “dhammesu sabbesu pavattitth±”ti ett±vat± ca adhippetatthe siddhe dhammesu tass± paññ±ya ±kaªkhappaµibaddhat±ya akicchavuttita½ dassetu½ aññeyyattapaµisedhanena ñeyya-saddena dhamm± visesit±ti. Ñeyyadhamma-sadd± n²luppalasadd± viya aññamañña½ bhed±bhedayutt±ti “ñeyy± ca te dhamm± c±”ti vutta½. Y± y±ti yath±-saddassattha½ dasseti. By±panicch±yañhi aya½ yath±-saddo, tappabhed± paññ± pavattitth±ti sambandhoti.
Bhagavati pavatt±v±ti ida½ yebhuyyena upam±nopameyyatth±na½ bhinn±dh±rat±ya bhinn±dh±rassa ca upam±natthassa idha asambhavato vutta½. Bhagavato karuº±ya aññehi as±dh±raºabh±vo satte sa½s±radukkhato uddharitv± accantasukhe nibb±ne patiµµhapetu½ attano sar²raj²vitaparicc±genapi ekantahitajjh±sayat±vasena veditabbo, yato vineyy±na½ kosohitavatthaguyhapah³tajivh±vida½sanampi kata½, yañca yadime satt± j±neyyu½, bhagavato s±sanena rahadamiva s²tala½ sampajjalita½ aggikkhandhampi samog±heyya. Aññesa½ passant±nanti sambandho. Uddhaµ±ti pada½ apekkhitv± mahoghapakkhand±na½ satt±nanti kammatthe s±mivacana½. Ayañhettha saªkhepattho– k±m±dimahoghapakkhande satte tato uddhaµ± natthañño koci ma½ µhapetv±ti passato yath± bhagavato karuº±ya ±visana½ hoti, na eva½ aññesa½ tath±dassanasseva abh±vato. Atha v± aññesa½ passant±nanti yadipi pare passeyyu½, tath±pi na tesa½ bhagavato viya karuºokkamana½ atthi appaµipattito attahitamattapaµipattito c±ti attho.
An±varaº± t²su k±lesu sabbattha appaµihatavuttit±ya, as±dh±raº± sabbadhamm±na½ niravasesahetupaccayapariggahavasena tesañca sabh±vakicc±di-avatth±vises±diparij±nanena ±y³hanavel±yameva ta½ta½kamm±na½ ta½ta½phalavisesah²namajjhimapaº²t±divibh±gassa indriyabaddhesu anindriyabaddhesu ca atisukhumatirohitavid³ravutti-at²t±n±gat±dibhedabhinn±na½ r³padhamm±na½ ta½ta½k±raºasamav±yavibh±vaneneva ta½ta½phalesu vaººasaºµh±nagandharasaphass±divisesassa niravasesato paµivijjhanena veditabb±. Ayañca attho bhagavato anekadh±tun±n±dh±tuloka½ yath±bh³ta½ ñ±º±divasena veditabbo. Yath± ca passantass±ti ida½ r±gaggi-±d²hi lokasanniv±sassa ±dittat±di-±k±radassana½ bhagavato mah±karuºokkamanup±ya½ sandh±ya vutta½. Ta½ pana bahukehi ±k±rehi passant±na½ buddh±na½ bhagavant±na½ sattesu mah±karuº± okkamati. “¾ditto lokasanniv±so…pe… uyyutto…pe… pay±to…pe… kummaggappaµipanno…pe… upan²yati loko adhuvo…pe… at±ºo loko anabhissaro…pe… assako loko sabba½ pah±ya gaman²ya½…pe… ³no loko atitto taºh±d±soti passant±na½ buddh±na½ bhagavant±na½ sattesu mah±karuº± okkamat²”ti-±din± (paµi. ma. 1.117) paµisambhid±magge parosata½ ±k±rehi dassitanti ganthavitth±ra½ pariharitu½ sa½vaººayituñca up±ya½ dassetu½ ±ha “ta½ sabba½ paµisambhid±magge mah±karuº±ñ±ºavibhaªgavasena j±nitabban”ti. Indriyaparopariyatta-±say±nusaya yamakap±µih±riya sabbaññut±n±varaºañ±º±ni ses±s±dh±raºañ±º±ni. Tesampi hi vibhaªgo “idha tath±gato satte passati apparajakkhe”ti-±din± (paµi. ma. 1.111) paµisambhid±magge n±nappak±rena dassitoti purimanayeneva atidisati. ¾di-saddena tattha vibhatt±na½ paµisambhid±saccañ±º±d²na½ saªgaho katoti veditabbo.
