Na hi uppajjanakkhaºeyeva cakkhuviññ±º±d²na½ r³p±d²ni ±rammaºapaccayo, atha kho sabbasmi½ vattam±nakkhaºeti. Tena ±lambiyam±n±nampi r³p±d²na½ cakkhuviññ±º±divattam±nat±ya pure pacch± ca vijjam±n±na½ ±rammaºapaccayatt±bh±va½ dasseti, ko pana v±do an±lambiyam±n±na½. Na ekato hont²ti n²l±d²ni sabbar³p±ni saha na honti, tath± sadd±dayop²ti attho. “Ya½ yan”ti hi vacana½ r³p±d²ni bhindat²ti. Tattha purimenatthena “uppajjant²”ti vacanena ±rammaºapaccayabh±valakkhaºad²panattha½ “ya½ ya½ dhamman”ti-±di vuttanti dasseti, pacchimena “ya½ yan”ti vacanena r³p±dibhedad²panatthanti. “Ya½ ya½ v± pan±rabbh±”ti etassa vaººan±ya½ dassitasabb±rammaº±divasena v± idh±pi attho gahetabboti.

Tesu hi dassitesu at²t±n±gatesu ta½ta½paccay± ahesu½ bhavissanti c±ti ayamattho dassito hoti, na pana ta½ta½paccayavantat±. Paccayavanto hi paccuppann±yev±ti.
Ettha ca “ya½ ya½ dhamma½ ±rabbh±”ti ekavacananiddesa½ katv± puna “te te dhamm±”ti bahuvacananiddeso “ya½ yan”ti vuttassa ±rammaºadhammassa anekabh±vopi atth²ti dassanattho. Catt±ro hi khandh± saheva ±rammaºapaccay± honti, te sabbepi ±rabbha uppajjam±nampi tesu ekeka½ ±rabbha uppajjam±na½ na na hoti, tasm± vedan±d²su phass±d²su ca ekekassapi ±rammaºapaccayabh±vadassanattha½ “ya½ yan”ti vutta½, sabbesa½ ekacittupp±dapariy±pann±na½ ±rammaºapaccayabh±vadassanattha½ “te te”ti. Tattha yo ca r³p±diko ekekova ya½ya½-saddena vutto, ye ca aneke phass±dayo ekekavasena ya½ya½-saddena vutt±, te sabbe gahetv± “te te”ti vuttanti daµµhabba½. Atha v± yasmi½ k±le ±rabbha uppajjanti, tasmi½ k±le n²l±d²su cittupp±desu ca ekekameva ±rabbha uppajjant²ti dassanattha½ “ya½ yan”ti vutta½, te pana ±lambiyam±n± r³p±rammaºadhamm± ca aneke, tath± sadd±di-±rammaºadhamm± c±ti dassanattha½ “te te”ti.
Nibb±n±rammaºa½ k±m±vacarar³p±vacarakusalassa apariy±pannato kusalavip±kassa k±m±vacarar³p±vacarakiriyassa c±ti imesa½ channa½ r±s²na½ ±rammaºapaccayo hot²ti ida½ pubbeniv±s±nussatiñ±ºena khandhapaµibaddh±nussaraºak±le nibb±nampi r³p±vacarakusalakiriy±na½ ±rammaºa½ hot²ti imin± adhipp±yena vutta½. Eva½ sati yath± “appam±º± khandh± pubbeniv±s±nussatiñ±ºassa ±rammaºapaccayena paccayo”ti (paµµh±. 2.12.58) vutta½, eva½ “nibb±nan”ti ca vattabba½ siy±, na ca ta½ vutta½. Na hi nibb±na½ pubbe nivuµµha½ asaªkhatatt±, na ca pubbeniv±s±nussatiñ±ºena pubbe nivuµµhesu appam±ºakkhandhesu ñ±tesu nibb±naj±nane na tena payojana½ atthi. Yath± hi cetopariyañ±ºa½ citta½ vibh±ventameva citt±rammaºaj±nanassa k±m±vacarassa paccayo hoti, evamidampi appam±ºakkhandhe vibh±ventameva tad±rammaºaj±nanassa k±m±vacarassa paccayo hot²ti. Diµµhanibb±noyeva ca pubbe nivuµµhe appam±ºakkhandhe anussarati, tena yath±diµµhameva nibb±na½ tesa½ khandh±na½ ±rammaºanti daµµhabba½, na pana pubbeniv±s±nussatiñ±ºena tad±rammaºavibh±vana½ k±tabba½. Vibh³tameva hi ta½ tass±ti. Eva½ an±gata½sañ±ºepi yath±raha½ yojetabba½, tasm± nibb±na½ na kassaci r³p±vacarassa ±rammaºanti “catunna½ r±s²nan”ti vattu½ yutta½.
