Tasmiñhi abbocchinne kusal±d²nañca pavatti hoti, vocchinne ca appavatt²ti teneva ca upp±danirodh± dassit±, tasm± tassa ekasattassa paµisandhi-upp±dato y±va cutinirodho, t±va at²tat± natthi, na ca tato pubbe tattha paµisandhivasena kammajasant±na½ uppannapubbanti khandhadvayampi “nuppajjitth±”ti vutta½. “Asaññasatt±na½ tesa½ tattha r³pakkhandho uppajjissat²”ti ettha “yassa yattha r³pakkhandho uppajjissat²”ti etena sanniµµh±nena visesit± asaññasatt±pi sant²ti te eva gahetv± “asaññasatt±nan”ti vutta½. Tena ye sanniµµh±nena vajjit±, te tato pañcavok±ra½ gantv± parinibb±yissanti, na tesa½ puna asaññe upapattippasaªgo atth²ti te sandh±y±ha– “pacchimabhavik±na½ tesa½ tattha r³pakkhandho ca nuppajjissati vedan±kkhandho ca nuppajjissat²”ti (yama. 1.khandhayamaka.65). Ettha ki½ pañcavok±r±dibh±vo viya pacchimabhavopi koci atthi, yattha tesamanuppatti bhavissat²ti? Natthi pañcavok±r±dibhavesveva yattha v± tattha v± µhit±na½ pacchimabhavik±na½ “yassa yattha r³pakkhandho nuppajjissat²”ti etena sanniµµh±nena saªgahitatt±. Tesa½ tattha itar±nuppattibh±vañca anuj±nanto “vedan±kkhandho ca nuppajjissat²”ti ±h±ti.
“Suddh±v±se parinibbant±nan”ti ida½ sappaµisandhik±na½ appaµisandhik±nañca suddh±v±s±na½ ta½ta½bh³miya½ khandhaparinibb±navasena vuttanti veditabba½. Sabbesañhi tesa½ tattha vedan±kkhandho nuppajjitth±ti. Yath± pana “nirujjhissat²”ti vacana½ paccuppannepi upp±dakkhaºasamaªgimhi pavattati, na eva½ “uppajjitth±”ti vacana½ paccuppanne pavattati, atha kho uppajjitv± vigate at²te eva, tasm± “parinibbant±na½ nuppajjitth±”ti vutta½ uppannasant±nassa avigatatt±. Anant± lokadh±tuyoti ok±sassa aparicchinnatt± ok±savasena vuccam±n±na½ upp±danirodh±nampi paricched±bh±vato sa½kiººat± hot²ti “yattha vedan±kkhandho uppajjati, tattha saññ±kkhandho nirujjhat²ti? ¾mant±”ti vutta½.
