Tattha siy±– sace im± hetupaccay±divasena ek³napańń±sa½ pucch± sabbaso vissajjana½ na labhanti, atha kasm± dassit±? Nanu y± labhanti, t±yeva dassetabb±ti? ¾ma, dassetabb± siyu½. Tath± dassiyam±n± pana sabbesu tikadukapaµµh±n±d²su ekekasmi½ tike, duke, dukatike, tikaduke, tikatike, dukaduke ca saŖkhepa½ akatv± dassetabb±yeva bhaveyyu½. Kasm±? Kusalo dhammoti catubh³makakusaladhammesuyeva sańń±kkhandh±dibhedo eko dhammo. Uppajjat²ti upp±dato y±va nirodhagaman± uddha½ pajjati, nibbattat²tipi attho Att±na½ labhati, upp±d±dayo tayopi khaŗe p±puŗ±t²ti vutta½ hoti. Hetupaccay±ti kusalahetun± hetupaccayabh±va½ s±dhentena.
Eva½ “uppajjeyy±”ti pucch±ya “uppajjat²”ti vissajjana½ vatv± id±ni ya½ dhamma½ paµicca yo dhammo uppajjati, ta½ dhamma½ khandhavasena dassetu½ kusala½ eka½ khandhanti-±dim±ha. Tattha ekanti vedan±d²su cat³su ya½kińci eka½. Tayo khandh±ti yo yo paccayabh±vena gahito, ta½ ta½ µhapetv± avases± tayo khandh±. Tayo khandheti vedan±d²su yo eko khandho uppajjat²ti gahito, ta½ µhapetv± sese tayo. Dve khandheti vedan±sańń±duk±d²su chasu dukesu yekeci dve khandhe paµicca. Dve khandh±ti ye ye paccayabh±vena gahit±, te te µhapetv± avases± dve khandh± kusalahetun± hetupaccayabh±va½ s±dhentena uppajjant²ti attho.
Yasm± pana eko khandho ekasseva dvinna½yeva v±, dve v± pana ekasseva paccayo n±ma natthi, tasm± “eka½ khandha½ paµicca eko khandho, eka½ khandha½ paµicca dve khandh±, dve khandhe paµicca eko khandho”ti na vutta½. Kusala½ dhamma½ paµicca aby±kato dhammo uppajjat²ti-±d²supi vuttanayeneva attho veditabbo. Cittasamuµµh±na½ r³panti ida½ paµiccatthassa sahaj±tatthatt± ya½ kusalena sahaj±tańceva hetupaccayańca labhati, ta½ dassetu½ vutta½. Paratopi evar³pesu µh±nesu ayameva nayo.
Vip±k±by±kata½ kiriy±by±katanti ettha hetupaccay±bh±vato ahetuka½, r³pena saddhi½ anuppattito ±ruppavip±kańca na gahetabba½. 54. ¾rammaŗapaccaye t±va r³passa ±rammaŗapaccayavasena anuppattito t±su navasu r³pamissak± pah±ya tissova pucch± vissajjit±. Teneva ca k±raŗena “vatthu½ paµicca khandh±”ti vatv± “khandhe paµicca vatth³”ti na vutta½. Na hi ta½ ±rammaŗapaccayena uppajjati.
55. Adhipatipaccaye vip±k±by±katanti lokuttarameva sandh±ya vutta½. Tenevettha “paµisandhikkhaŗe”ti na gahita½. Sesa½ hetupaccayasadisameva.

59. Nissayapaccaye yasm± paµiccattho n±ma sahaj±tattho, tasm± y± heµµh± paccayavibhaŖgav±re cakkh±yatan±d²na½ nissayapaccayat± dassit±, na s± gahit±. Cakkh±yatan±d²ni hi purej±t±ni hutv± paccay± honti, idha sahaj±tameva labbhati. Teneva vutta½– “nissayapaccayo sahaj±tapaccayasadiso”ti.
60. Upanissayapaccaye r³passa upanissayapaccay±bh±v± t²ŗeva vissajjan±ni labbhanti, tena vutta½ “±rammaŗapaccayasadisan”ti. Tattha kińc±pi na sabbe kusal±kusal±by±kat± ±rammaŗ³panissaya½ labhanti, ye pana labhanti, tesa½ vaseneta½ vuttanti veditabba½.
61. Purej±tapaccaye vatthu½ purej±tapaccay±ti vatthu½ paµicca vatthun± purej±tapaccayata½ s±dhentena uppajjant²ti attho. Vip±k±by±kata½ eka½ khandhanti ettha ya½ vip±k±by±katassa vatthu okkantikkhaŗe sahaj±tapaccayo hoti, ta½ purej±tapaccayabh±janiyatt± idha na gahetabba½. Yepi kusal±dayo ±ruppe purej±tapaccaya½ na labhanti, tepi purej±tapaccayabh±janiyatoyeva idha na gahetabb±. ¾rammaŗa½ pana niyamato purej±tapaccayabh±va½ na labhati. R³p±yatan±d²ni hi cakkhuvińń±ŗ±d²na½yeva purej±tapaccayata½ s±dhenti, manovińń±ŗadh±tuy± at²t±n±gat±nipi ±rammaŗa½ hontiyeva. Tasm± idha na gahita½. Khandhavasena hi aya½ desan±, na vińń±ŗadh±tuvasena. “Vip±k±by±kata½ eka½ khandhan”ti desan±ya ca sabb±pi vińń±ŗadh±tuyo gahit±, na cakkhuvińń±ŗadh±tu-±dayo ev±ti.
Pacch±j±to kusal±kusal±na½ paccayo na hoti, aby±katassapi upatthambhakova na janako, tasm± “uppajjati pacch±j±tapaccay±”ti eva½ vattabbo ekadhammopi natth²ti pacch±j±tapaccayavasena vissajjana½ na kata½.
62. ¾sevanapaccaye k±ma½ sabb± kiriy± ±sevanapaccaya½ na labhanti, labbham±navasena pana “kiriy±by±katan”ti vutta½. Tasm± javanakiriy±vettha gahit±ti veditabb±.
63. Kammapaccaye kusal±kusalesu ekakkhaŗiko kammapaccayo veditabbo, tath± kiriy±by±kate. Vip±k±by±kate pana n±n±kkhaŗikopi, tath± paµisandhikkhaŗe mah±bh³t±na½. Cittasamuµµh±n±na½ pana ekakkhaŗiko. Kaµatt±r³p±na½ n±n±kkhaŗikova tath± asańńasattar³p±na½. Kaµatt±r³pa½ panettha j²vitindriya½. Sesa½ na ekantato kammasamuµµh±natt± up±d±r³panti vutta½. Eva½ santepi idha kammasamuµµh±nameva adhippeta½.
64. Vip±kapaccaye kusal±kusala½ kiriyańca na labbhat²ti aby±katavaseneva vissajjana½ kata½. Cittasamuµµh±nanti vip±kacittasamuµµh±nameva. Kaµatt±r³panti yath±l±bhavasena indriyar³pańca vatthur³pańca. Up±d±r³panti tadavasesa½ tasmi½ samaye vijjam±naka½ up±d±r³pa½.
65. ¾h±rapaccaye sabbesampi kusal±d²na½ khandh±na½ cittasamuµµh±nar³passa ca ar³p±h±ravasena uppatti veditabb±, tath± paµisandhikkhaŗe mah±bh³t±na½. Cittasamuµµh±nanti bhavaŖg±dicittasamuµµh±na½. ¾h±rasamuµµh±nanti kaba¼²k±r±h±rasamuµµh±na½ Cittasamuµµh±nanti kusal±kusalacittasamuµµh±nameva. PaccayavibhaŖgav±re ±h±rapaµip±µiy± paµhama½ kaba¼²k±ro ±h±ro dassito, idha pana kusala½ dhammanti pucch±vasena paµhama½ ar³p±h±r± dassit±ti veditabb±.
66. Indriyapaccaye paccayavibhaŖge indriyapaµip±µiy± paµhama½ cakkhundriy±d²ni dassit±ni, idha pana kusal±dipucch±vasena paµhama½ ar³pindriy±na½ paccayat± dassit±. Tattha kusal±d²su yath±l±bhavasena ar³pindriy± gahetabb±. Asańńasatt±na½ bh³tar³pesupi j²vitindriyanti.
