Tattha khandhayamake vuttanayeneva p±¼ivavatth±na½ veditabba½. Yath± hi tattha paººattiv±r±dayo tayo mah±v±r±, avases± antarav±r± ca honti, tath± idh±pi. “Yo kusala½ dhamma½ bh±veti, so akusala½ dhamma½ pajahat²”ti ±gatatt± panettha pariññ±v±ro, bh±van±v±ro n±m±ti veditabbo. Tattha yasm± aby±kato dhammo neva bh±vetabbo, na pah±tabbo, tasm± ta½ padameva na uddhaµa½. Paººattiv±re panettha tiººa½ kusal±didhamm±na½ vasena padasodhanav±ro, padasodhanam³lacakkav±ro, suddhadhammav±ro, suddhadhammam³lacakkav±roti imesu cat³su v±resu yamakagaºan± veditabb±.

17-32. Paººattiv±raniddese pana kusal± kusaladhamm±ti kusal±na½ ekantena kusaladhammatt± “±mant±”ti vutta½. Sesavissajjanesupi eseva nayo. Avases± dhamm± na akusal± dhamm±ti avases± dhamm± akusal± na honti, dhamm± pana hont²ti attho. Imin± nayena sabbavissajjan±ni veditabb±ni.

33-34. Pavattiv±re panettha paccuppannak±le puggalav±rassa anulomanaye “yassa kusal± dhamm± uppajjanti, tassa akusal± dhamm± uppajjanti; yassa v± pana akusal± dhamm± uppajjanti, tassa kusal± dhamm± uppajjant²”ti kusaladhammam³lak±ni dve yamak±ni, akusaladhammam³laka½ ekanti t²ºi yamak±ni honti. Tassa paµilomanayepi ok±sav±r±d²supi eseva nayo. Evamettha sabbav±resu tiººa½ tiººa½ yamak±na½ vasena yamakagaºan± veditabb±. Atthavinicchaye panettha ida½ lakkhaºa½– imassa hi dhammayamakassa pavattimah±v±re “uppajjanti nirujjhant²”ti imesu upp±danirodhesu kusal±kusaladhamm± t±va ekantena pavattiya½yeva labbhanti, na cutipaµisandh²su. Aby±katadhamm± pana pavatte ca cutipaµisandh²su c±ti t²supi k±lesu labbhanti. Evamettha ya½ yattha yattha labbhati, tassa vasena tattha tattha vinicchayo veditabbo.
Tatrida½ nayamukha½– kusal±kusal±na½ t±va ekakkhaºe anuppajjanato “no”ti paµisedho kato. Aby±kat± c±ti cittasamuµµh±nar³pavasena vutta½.
35-36. Yattha kusal± dhamm± nuppajjant²ti asaññabhava½ sandh±ya vutta½. Tenevettha “±mant±”ti vissajjana½ kata½. Uppajjant²ti idampi asaññabhava½yeva sandh±ya vutta½. Aby±kat±na½ pana anuppattiµµh±nassa abh±v± “natth²”ti paµikkhepo kato.
49. Dutiye akusaleti bhava½ ass±detv± uppannesu nikantijavanesu dutiye javanacitte. Dutiye citte vattam±neti paµisandhito dutiye bhavaªgacitte vattam±ne saha v± paµisandhiy± bhavaªga½ vip±kavasena ekameva katv± bhavanikantiy± ±vajjanacitte. Tañhi kiriyacittatt± aby±kataj±tiya½ vip±kato dutiya½ n±ma hoti.
57. Yassa cittassa anantar± aggamagganti gotrabhucitta½ sandh±ya vutta½. Kusal± dhamm± uppajjissant²ti te aggamaggadhammeyeva sandh±ya vutta½.
79. Yassa cittassa anantar± aggamagga½ paµilabhissanti, tassa cittassa upp±dakkhaºeti ida½ cittaj±tivasena vutta½. Tajj±tikassa hi ek±vajjanena uppannassa tato orimacittassa upp±dakkhaºepi eta½ lakkhaºa½ labbhateva.
99. Nirodhav±repi kusal±kusal±na½ ekato anirujjhanato “no”ti vutta½. Imin± nayamukhena sabbattha vinicchayo veditabboti.
