Tattha anulomanaye “yassa anuseti, yattha anuseti, yassa yattha anuset²”ti puggalok±satadubhayavasena tayo antarav±r± honti. Tesu paµhame puggalav±re “yassa k±mar±g±nusayo anuseti, tassa paµigh±nusayo anuseti; yassa v± pana paµigh±nusayo anuseti, tassa k±mar±g±nusayo anuseti; yassa k±mar±g±nusayo anuseti, tassa m±n±nusayo, diµµh±nusayo, vicikicch±nusayo, bhavar±g±nusayo, avijj±nusayo anuseti. T±ni purimehi ekav²satiy± saddhi½ chatti½s±ti puggalav±re chatti½sa yamak±ni. Tath± ok±sav±re, tath± puggalok±sav±reti sabb±nipi anulomanaye aµµhasata½ yamak±ni. Tath± paµilomanayeti anusayav±re so¼as±dhik±ni dve yamakasat±ni, tato diguŗ± pucch±, tato diguŗ± atth± ca veditabb±. So cittasampayutto s±rammaŗo sappaccayaµµhena sahetuko ekant±kusalo at²topi hoti an±gatopi paccuppannopi, tasm± uppajjat²ti vattu½ yujjati.
Tatrida½ pam±ŗa½– abhidhamme t±va kath±vatthusmi½ (kath±. 554 ±dayo) “anusay± aby±kat±, anusay± ahetuk±, anusay± cittavippayutt±”ti sabbe v±d± paµisedhit±. Paµisambhid±magge (paµi. ma. 3.21) “paccuppanne kilese pajahat²”ti puccha½ katv± anusay±na½ paccuppannabh±vassa atthit±ya “th±magat±nusaya½ pajahat²”ti vutta½. DhammasaŖgahe pana mohassa padabh±jane “avijj±nusayo avijj±pariyuµµh±na½ avijj±laŖg² moho akusalam³la½, aya½ tasmi½ samaye moho hot²”ti (dha. sa. 390) akusalacittena saddhi½ avijj±nusayassa uppannabh±vo vutto. Imasmi½yeva anusayayamake sattanna½ mah±v±r±na½ ańńatarasmi½ uppajjanav±re “yassa k±mar±g±nusayo uppajjati, tassa paµigh±nusayo uppajjat²”ti-±di vutta½. Tasm± “anusent²ti anur³pa½ k±raŗa½ labhitv± uppajjant²”ti ya½ vutta½, ta½ imin± tantippam±ŗena suvuttanti veditabba½. Yampi “cittasampayutto s±rammaŗo”ti-±di vutta½, tampi suvuttameva. Anusayo hi n±mesa parinipphanno cittasampayutto akusaladhammoti niµµhamettha gantabba½. K±mar±g±nusayoti-±d²su k±mar±go ca so appah²naµµhena anusayo c±ti k±mar±g±nusayo. Sesapadesupi eseva nayo.

2. Id±ni tesa½ uppattiµµh±na½ pak±setu½ kattha k±mar±g±nusayo anuset²ti-±dim±ha. Tattha k±madh±tuy± dv²su vedan±s³ti k±m±vacarabh³miya½ sukh±ya ca upekkh±ya c±ti dv²su vedan±su. Ettha k±mar±g±nusayo anuset²ti im±su dv²su vedan±su uppajjati. So panesa akusalavedan±su sahaj±tavasena ±rammaŗavasena c±ti dv²h±k±rehi anuseti. Akusal±ya sukh±ya vedan±ya ceva upekkh±ya vedan±ya ca sahaj±topi hutv± uppajjati. T± vedan± ±rammaŗa½ katv±pi uppajjat²ti attho. Avases± pana k±m±vacarakusalavip±kakiriyavedan± ±rammaŗameva katv± uppajjati. K±madh±tuy± dv²su vedan±su anusayam±no cesa t±hi vedan±hi sampayuttesu sańń±saŖkh±ravińń±ŗesupi anusetiyeva. Na hi sakk± vedan±su anusayam±nena ta½sampayuttehi sańń±d²hi saddhi½ asahaj±tena v± bhavitu½, ta½sampayutte v± sańń±dayo ±rammaŗa½ akatv± uppajjitu½. Eva½ santepi pana yasm± im± dve vedan±va s±tasantasukhatt± ass±daµµhena k±mar±g±nusayassa uppattiy± sesasampayuttadhammesu padh±n±, tasm± “dv²su vedan±su ettha k±mar±g±nusayo anuset²”ti vutta½, o¼±rikavasena hi bodhaneyye sukha½ bodhetunti.
Nanu cesa ±rammaŗavasena anusayam±no na kevala½ im±su dv²su vedan±su ceva vedan±sampayuttadhammesu ca anuseti, iµµhesu pana r³p±d²supi anusetiyeva. Vuttampi ceta½ vibhaŖgappakaraŗe (vibha. 816) “ya½ loke piyar³pa½ s±tar³pa½, ettha satt±na½ k±mar±g±nusayo anuset²”ti imasmimpi pakaraŗe anusayav±rassa paµilomanaye vutta½. “Yattha k±mar±g±nusayo n±nuseti tattha diµµh±nusayo n±nuset²ti dukkh±ya vedan±ya r³padh±tuy± ar³padh±tuy± ettha k±mar±g±nusayo n±nuseti, no ca tattha diµµh±nusayo n±nuseti. Apariy±panne ettha k±mar±g±nusayo ca n±nuseti, diµµh±nusayo ca n±nuset²”ti. Ettha hi dukkhavedan±ya ceva r³padh±tu-±d²su ca n±nuset²ti vuttatt± sasampayuttadhamma½ dukkhavedana½ sa-ok±se r³p±r³p±vacaradhamme nava ca, lokuttaradhamme µhapetv± avasesesu r³pasaddagandharasaphoµµhabbesu anuset²ti vutta½ hoti. Paµigh±nusayassa pana “dukkh±ya vedan±y±”ti vacanato dve domanassavedan± k±yavińń±ŗasampayutt± dukkhavedan±ti tisso vedan± anusayanaµµh±na½. So panesa domanassavedan±su sahaj±tavasena ±rammaŗavasena c±ti dv²h±k±rehi anuseti. Avasesadukkhavedan±ya pana ±rammaŗavaseneva anuseti.
