Atha na½ “yadi aññ±ºe vigate ‘ñ±º²’ti paññatti na siy±, r±g±d²su vigatesu v²tar±g±dipaññattipi na siy±ti puggalapaññattiya½ akovidos²”ti codetu½ r±ge vigateti-±dim±ha. 618-820. Id±ni ida½ dukkhantikath± n±ma hoti. Tattha yesa½ “lokuttaramaggakkhaºe yog±vacaro ida½ dukkhanti v±ca½ bh±sati, evamassa ida½ dukkhanti v±ca½ bh±sato ca ida½ dukkhanti ñ±ºa½ pavattat²”ti laddhi, seyyath±pi andhak±na½; te sandh±ya pucch± sakav±dissa, maggakkhaºe tath± v±c±bh±sana½ ñ±ºappavattiñca sandh±ya paµiññ± itarassa. Yasm± pana so sesasaccapaµisa½yutta½ v±ca½ puthujjanova bh±sati na ca tassa tath± ñ±ºappavatt²ti icchati, tasm± samuday±dipañhesu paµikkhipati. R³pa½ aniccanti-±di dukkhapariy±yadassanavasena vutta½. Itaro pana sakasamaye t±disa½ voh±ra½ apassanto paµikkhipati. Iti ca danti c±ti-±di yadi tassa dukkhe ñ±ºa½ pavattati, i-k±ra da½-k±ra du-k±ra kha-k±resu paµip±µiy± cat³hi ñ±ºehi pavattitabbanti dassetu½ vutta½. Itaro pana tath± na icchati, tasm± paµikkhipati.

7. Iddhibalakath±vaººan±

621-624. Id±ni iddhibalakath± n±ma hoti. Tattha iddhip±dabh±van±nisa½sassa attha½ ayoniso gahetv± “iddhibalena samann±gato kappa½ tiµµheyy±”ti yesa½ laddhi, seyyath±pi mah±sa½ghik±na½; te sandh±ya iddhibalena samann±gato kappa½ tiµµheyy±ti pucch± sakav±dissa. Tattha kappo n±ma mah±kappo, kappekadeso, ±yukappoti tividho. “Catt±rim±ni, bhikkhave, kappassa asaªkhyeyy±n²”ti (a. ni. 4.156) ettha hi mah±kappova kappoti vutto. “Brahmak±yik±na½ dev±na½ kappo ±yuppam±ºan”ti (a. ni. 4.123) ettha kappekades±. “Kappa½ nirayamhi paccati, kappa½ saggamhi modat²”ti (c³¼ava. 354) ettha ±yukappo. ¾yukappana½ ±yuvidh±na½ kammassa vip±kavasena v± vassagaºan±ya v± ±yuparicchedoti attho. Tesu mah±kappa½ sandh±ya pucchati, itaro paµij±n±ti.
Atha na½ sakav±d² “sace te iddhibalena samann±gato, ‘yo cira½ j²vati, so vassasata½ appa½ v± bhiyyo’ti (sa½. ni. 2.143) eva½ paricchinn± ±yukapp± uddha½ mah±kappa½ v± mah±kappekadesa½ v± j²veyya iddhimayikenassa ±yun± bhavitabban”ti codetu½ iddhimayiko so ±y³ti-±dim±ha. Itaro “j²vitindriya½ n±ma iddhimayika½ natthi, kammasamuµµh±namev±”ti vuttatt± paµikkhipati. Ko panettha iddhimato viseso, nanu aniddhim±pi ±yukappa½ tiµµheyy±ti? Aya½ viseso– iddhim± hi y±vat±yuka½ j²vitappavattiy± antar±yakare dhamme iddhibalena paµib±hitv± antar± ak±lamaraºa½ niv±retu½ sakkoti, aniddhimato eta½ bala½ natthi. Ayametesa½ viseso.

8. Sam±dhikath±vaººan±

625-626. Id±ni sam±dhikath± n±ma hoti. Tattha yesa½ ekacittakkhaºe uppann±pi ekaggat± sam±dh±naµµhena sam±dh²ti aggahetv± “satta rattindiv±ni ekantasukhapaµisa½ved² viharitun”ti-±divacana½ (ma. ni. 1.180) niss±ya “cittasantati sam±dh²”ti laddhi, seyyath±pi sabbatthiv±d±nañceva uttar±pathak±nañca; te sandh±ya cittasantat²ti pucch± sakav±dissa, paµiññ± itarassa. Atha na½ “yadi cittasantati sam±dhi, cittasantati n±ma at²t±pi atthi, an±gat±pi atthi. Na hi eka½ paccuppannacittameva cittasantati n±ma hoti, ki½ te sabb±pi s± sam±dh²”ti codetu½ at²t±ti-±dim±ha, itaro tath± anicchanto paµikkhipati.
Nanu at²ta½ niruddhanti-±di “cittasantatiya½ paccuppannameva citta½ kiccakara½, at²t±n±gata½ niruddhatt± anuppannatt± ca natthi, katha½ ta½ sam±dhi n±ma hot²”ti dassetu½ vutta½. 627. Id±ni dhammaµµhitat±kath± n±ma hoti. Tattha “µhit±va s± dh±t³”ti vacana½ niss±ya “paµiccasamupp±dasaªkh±t± dhammaµµhitat± n±ma ek± atthi, s± ca parinipphann±”ti yesa½ laddhi, seyyath±pi andhak±na½; te sandh±ya pucch± sakav±dissa, paµiññ± itarassa. Atha na½ “yadi parinipphann±na½ avijj±d²na½ aññ± dhammaµµhitat± n±ma parinipphann± atthi, t±yapi ca te dhammaµµhitat±ya aññ± µhitat± parinipphann± ±pajjat²”ti codetu½ t±ya µhitat±ti-±dim±ha. 628. Id±ni aniccat±kath± n±ma hoti. Tattha “anicc±na½ r³p±d²na½ aniccat±pi r³p±dayo viya parinipphann±”ti yesa½ laddhi, seyyath±pi andhak±na½; te sandh±ya pucch± sakav±dissa, paµiññ± itarassa. Atha na½ “yadi te r³p±dayo viya aniccat± parinipphann±, tass±pi aññ±ya parinipphann±ya aniccat±ya bhavitabban”ti codetu½ t±ya aniccat±y±ti-±dim±ha. Itaro dvinna½ aniccat±ya ekato abh±vena paµikkhipitv± puna yasm± s± aniccat± nicc± na hoti, teneva aniccena saddhi½ antaradh±yati, tasm± paµij±n±ti. Athassa sakav±d² lesok±sa½ adatv± y± tena dutiy± aniccat± paµiññ±t± t±yapi tato par±yap²ti paramparavasena anupacchedadosa½ ±ropento t±ya t±yev±ti-±dim±ha. 629. R³pa½ parinipphannanti-±di yesa½ s± aniccat±, tehi saddhi½ sa½sandanattha½ vutta½. Tattha “yath± parinipphann±na½ r³p±d²na½ aniccat±jar±maraº±ni atthi, eva½ parinipphann±na½ aniccat±d²na½ t±ni natth²”ti maññam±no ekantena paµikkhipatiyev±ti.
