444. Abhidhammabh±jan²ye “iddhip±doti tath±bh³tassa phasso…pe… pagg±ho avikkhepo”ti (vibha. 447) iddhi-iddhip±datthadassanattha½ pagg±h±vikkhep± vutt±, cittapaññ± ca saªkhipitv±ti. Catt±ri nayasahass±ni vibhatt±n²ti ida½ s±dhipativ±r±na½ paripuºº±na½ abh±v± vic±retabba½. Na hi adhipat²na½ adhipatayo vijjanti, ekekasmi½ pana iddhip±daniddese ekeko adhipativ±ro labbhat²ti so¼asa so¼asa nayasat±ni labbhanti.

Nanu ca catt±ropi adhipatayo ekakkhaºe labbhanti, aññamaññassa pana adhipatayo na bhavanti “catt±ro iddhip±d± na magg±dhipatino”ti vuttatt±. R±japuttopam±pi hi etamattha½ d²pet²ti? Na, ekakkhaºe dutiyassa adhipatino abh±vato eva, “na magg±dhipatino”ti vuttatt± r±japuttopam± adhipati½ na karont²ti imamevattha½ d²peti, na adhipat²na½ sahabh±va½. Ta½ katha½ j±nitabbanti? Paµikkhittatt±. Adhipatipaccayaniddese hi aµµhakath±ya½ (paµµh±. aµµha. 1.3) vutt± “kasm± pana yath± hetupaccayaniddese ‘het³ hetusampayuttak±nan’ti vutta½, evamidha ‘adhipat² adhipatisampayuttak±nan’ti avatv± ‘chand±dhipati chandasampayuttak±nan’ti-±din± nayena desan± kat±ti? Ekakkhaºe abh±vato”ti. Sati ca catunna½ adhipat²na½ sahabh±ve “ariyamaggasamaªgissa v²ma½s±dhipateyya½ magga½ bh±ventass±”ti visesana½ na kattabba½ siy± av²ma½s±dhipatikassa maggassa abh±v±. Chand±d²na½ aññamaññ±dhipatikaraºabh±ve ca “v²ma½sa½ µhapetv± ta½sampayutto”ti-±din± chand±d²na½ v²ma½s±dhipatikattavacana½ na vattabba½ siy±. Tath± “catt±ro ariyamagg± siy± magg±dhipatino, siy± na vattabb± magg±dhipatino”ti (dha. sa. 1429) evam±d²hipi adhipat²na½ sahabh±vo paµikkhitto ev±ti.
