355. Tayo satipaµµh±n±ti satipaµµh±na-saddassa atthuddh±ra½ karoti, na idha p±¼iya½ vuttassa satipaµµh±na-saddassa atthadassana½. ¾d²su hi satigocaroti ±di-saddena “phassasamuday± vedan±na½ samudayo, n±mar³pasamuday± cittassa samudayo, manasik±rasamuday± dhamm±na½ samudayo”ti (sa½. ni. 5.408) satipaµµh±nanti vutt±na½ satigocar±na½ d²pake suttappadese saŖgaŗh±ti. Eva½ paµisambhid±p±¼iyampi avasesap±¼ippadesadassanattho ±di-saddo daµµhabbo. D±n±d²nipi karontassa r³p±d²ni kasiŗ±d²ni ca satiy± µh±na½ hot²ti ta½niv±raŗattham±ha “padh±na½ µh±nan”ti. Pa-saddo hi padh±natthad²pakoti adhipp±yo.
Ariyoti ariya½ seµµha½ samm±sambuddham±ha. Etth±ti etasmi½ sa¼±yatanavibhaŖgasutteti attho. Suttekadesena hi sutta½ dasseti. Tattha hi–
“Tayo satipaµµh±n± yadariyo…pe… arahat²ti iti kho paneta½ vutta½, kińceta½ paµicca vutta½? Idha, bhikkhave, satth± s±vak±na½ dhamma½ deseti anukampako hites² anukampa½ up±d±ya ‘ida½ vo hit±ya ida½ vo sukh±y±’ti. Tassa s±vak± na suss³santi, na sota½ odahanti, na ańń± citta½ upaµµh±penti, vokkamma ca satthus±san± vattanti. Tatra, bhikkhave, tath±gato na ceva anattamano hoti, na ca anattamanata½ paµisa½vedeti, anavassuto ca viharati sato sampaj±no. Ida½, bhikkhave, paµhama½ satipaµµh±na½. Yadariyo…pe… arahati.
“Puna capara½ bhikkhave satth±…pe… ida½ vo sukh±y±ti. Tassa ekacce s±vak± na suss³santi…pe… vattanti. Ekacce s±vak± suss³santi pe… na ca vokkamma satthus±san± vattanti. Tatra, bhikkhave, tath±gato na ceva attamano hoti, na ca attamanata½ paµisa½vedeti. Na ceva anattamano hoti, na ca anattamanata½ paµisa½vedeti. Attamanatańca anattamanatańca tadubhaya½ abhinivajjetv± upekkhako ca viharati sato sampaj±no. Ida½, bhikkhave, dutiya½…pe….

Eva½ paµigh±nunayehi anavassutat±, nicca½ upaµµhitasatit±, tadubhayav²tivattat± satipaµµh±nanti vutt±. Buddh±nameva kira nicca½ upaµµhitasatit± hoti, na paccekabuddh±d²nanti.

Pa-saddo ±rambha½ joteti, ±rambho ca pavatt²ti katv± ±ha “pavattayitabbatoti attho”ti. Satiy± karaŗabh³t±ya paµµh±na½ paµµh±petabba½ satipaµµh±na½. Ana-saddańhi bahula½-vacanena kammattha½ icchanti saddavid³, tatheva kattu-atthampi icchant²ti puna tatiyanaye “patiµµh±t²ti paµµh±nan”ti vutta½. Tattha pa-saddo bhusattha½ pakkhandana½ d²pet²ti “okkantitv± pakkhanditv± vattat²ti attho”ti ±ha. Puna bh±vatthe sati-sadda½ paµµh±na-saddańca vaŗŗento “atha v±”ti-±dim±ha. Tena purimatthe sati-saddo paµµh±na-saddo ca kattu-atthoti vińń±yati.
Visesena k±yo ca vedan± ca ass±dassa k±raŗanti tappah±nattha½ tesa½ taŗh±vatth³na½ o¼±rikasukhum±na½ asubhadukkhat±dassan±ni mandatikkhapańńehi taŗh±caritehi sukar±n²ti t±ni tesa½ visuddhimaggoti vutt±ni, eva½ diµµhiy± visesak±raŗesu cittadhammesu anicc±nattat±dassan±ni n±tipabhed±tipabhedagatesu tesu tappah±nattha½ mandatikkh±na½ diµµhicarit±na½ sukar±n²ti tesa½ t±ni visuddhimaggoti. Tikkho samathay±niko o¼±rik±rammaŗa½ pariggaŗhanto tattha aµµhatv± jh±na½ sam±pajjitv± vuµµh±ya vedana½ pariggaŗh±t²ti ±ha “o¼±rik±rammaŗe asaŗµhahanato”ti. Vipassan±y±nikassa sukhume citte dhammesu ca citta½ pakkhandat²ti tadanupassan±na½ ta½visuddhimaggat± vutt±.
Tesa½ tatth±ti ettha tattha-saddassa pah±natthanti etena yojan±. Pańca k±maguŗ± savises± k±ye labbhant²ti visesena k±yo k±moghassa vatthu, bhave sukhaggahaŗavasena bhavass±do hot²ti bhavoghassa vedan±, santatighanaggahaŗavasena citte att±bhiniveso hot²ti diµµhoghassa citta½, dhammavinibbhogassa dhamm±na½ dhammamattat±ya ca duppaµivijjhatt± sammoho hot²ti avijjoghassa dhamm±, tasm± tesu tesa½ pah±nattha½ catt±rova vutt±, dukkh±ya vedan±ya paµigh±nusayo anuset²ti dukkhadukkhavipariŗ±madukkhasaŖkh±radukkhabh³t± vedan± visesena by±p±dak±yaganthassa vatthu, citte niccaggahaŗavasena sassatassa attano s²lena suddh²ti-±dipar±masana½ hot²ti s²labbatapar±m±sassa citta½, n±mar³paparicchedena bh³ta½ bh³tato apassantassa bhavavibhavadiµµhisaŖkh±to ida½sacc±bhiniveso hot²ti tassa dhamm±…pe… sukhavedan±ss±davasena paralokanirapekkho “natthi dinnan”ti-±dipar±m±sa½ upp±det²ti diµµhup±d±nassa vedan±. Pakaraŗanayoti tambapaŗŗibh±s±ya vaŗŗan±nayo. Nettipeµakappakaraŗe dhammakathik±na½ yojan±nayotipi vadanti.
Saraŗavasen±ti k±y±d²na½ kusal±didhamm±nańca dh±raŗat±vasena. Saranti gacchanti et±y±ti sat²ti imasmi½ atthe ekatte nibb±ne sam±gamo ekattasamosaraŗa½. Etadeva hi dassetu½ “yath± h²”ti-±dim±ha. Ekanibb±nappavesahetubh³to v± sam±nat±ya eko satipaµµh±nasabh±vo ekatta½, tattha samosaraŗa½ ta½sabh±gat± ekattasamosaraŗa½. Ekanibb±nappavesahetubh±va½ pana dassetu½ “yath± h²”ti-±dim±ha. Etasmi½ atthe saraŗekattasamosaraŗ±ni saha satipaµµh±nekabh±vassa k±raŗattena vutt±n²ti daµµhabb±ni, purimasmi½ visu½. Saraŗavasen±ti v± gamanavasen±ti atthe sati tadeva gamana½ samosaraŗanti samosaraŗe v± sati-saddatthavasena avuccam±ne dh±raŗat±va sat²ti sati-saddatthantar±bh±v± purima½ satibh±vassa k±raŗa½, pacchima½ ekabh±vass±ti nibb±nasamosaraŗepi sahit±neva t±ni satipaµµh±nekabh±vassa k±raŗ±ni.
Cuddasavidhen±ti ida½ mah±satipaµµh±nasutte (d². ni. 2.372 ±dayo; ma. ni. 1.105 ±dayo) vutt±na½ ±n±p±napabb±d²na½ vasena. Tath± pańcavidhena dhamm±nupassananti etth±pi daµµhabba½. Ettha ca uµµh±nakabhaŗ¹asadisat± ta½ta½satipaµµh±nabh±van±nubh±vassa daµµhabb±. Bhikkhugocar± hi ete. Vuttańhi “gocare, bhikkhave, caratha sake pettike visaye”ti-±di (sa½. ni. 5.372; d². ni. 3.80).
K±y±nupassan±dipaµipattiy± bhikkhu hot²ti bhikkhu½ “k±y±nupass² viharat²”ti-±din± dasseti bhikkhumhi ta½niyamato. Ten±ha “paµipattiy± v± bhikkhubh±vadassanato”ti.
Sama½ careyy±ti k±y±divisamacariya½ pah±ya k±y±d²hi sama½ careyya. R±g±div³pasamena santo, indriyadamanena danto, catumagganiyamena niyato, seµµhac±rit±ya brahmac±r². K±yadaŗ¹±di-oropanena nidh±ya daŗ¹a½. So evar³po b±hitap±pasamitap±pabhinnakilesat±hi br±hmaŗ±disamańńo veditabbo.
