“Saªkh±rapaccay± viññ±ºena ye dhamm±…pe… sa¼±yatanapaccay± phassena, phassapaccay± vedan±ya ye dhamm± vippayutt±, te dhamm± katihi khandhehi…pe… saªgahit±? Te dhamm± asaªkhata½ khandhato µhapetv± ekena khandhena ek±dasah±yatanehi ek±dasahi dh±t³hi saªgahit±. Katihi asaªgahit±? Cat³hi khandhehi eken±yatanena sattahi dh±t³hi asaªgahit±”ti–

Vacanato sabbaviññ±ºaphassavedan±pariggaho kato. Yadi hi ettha viññ±ºaphassavedan± sappades± siyu½, “vip±k± dhamm±”ti imassa viya vissajjana½ siy±, tasm± tattha abhidhammabh±jan²yavasena saªkh±rapaccay± viññ±º±dayo gahit±ti veditabb±. Avijj±paccay± saªkh±r± ca abhidhammabh±jan²ye catubh³makakusalasaªkh±ro akusalasaªkh±ro ca vuttoti so eva dh±tukath±ya½ gahitoti daµµhabbo. Bhavo pana dh±tukath±ya½ kammupapattibhavavisesadassanattha½ na abhidhammabh±jan²yavasena gahito. Evañca katv± tattha “up±d±napaccay± bhavo”ti anuddharitv± “kammabhavo”ti-±din±va nayena bhavo uddhaµo. Vip±kañhetanti viññ±ºassa vip±katt± saªkh±rapaccayatta½ s±dheti, tassa pana s±dhanattha½ “upacitakamm±bh±ve vip±k±bh±vato”ti vuttanti ta½ vivaranto “vip±kañc±”ti-±dim±ha.

Yebhuyyena lobhasampayuttajavan±vas±neti javanena tad±rammaºaniyame somanassasahagat±nantara½ somanassasahagatatad±rammaºassa vuttatt± somanassasahagat±neva sandh±ya vuttanti veditabba½. Yasm± pana tihetukajavan±vas±ne ca kad±ci ahetuka½ tad±rammaºa½ hoti, tasm± “yebhuyyen±”ti ±ha. Saki½ v±ti “dirattatiratt±”d²su viya veditabba½. Dvikkhattumeva pana uppajjant²ti vadanti. “Dirattatirattan”ti ettha pana v±-saddassa abh±v± vacanasiliµµhat±mattena dirattaggahaºa½ katanti yujjati, “nirantaratirattadassanattha½ v±”ti. Idha pana v±-saddo vikappanattho vuttoti saki½ eva ca kad±ci pavatti½ sandh±ya “saki½ v±”ti vuttanti daµµhabba½. Teneva hi saki½ tad±rammaºappavattiy± vic±retabbata½ dassento “cittappavattigaºan±ya½ pan±”ti-±dim±ha. Tattha cittappavattigaºan±yanti vip±kakath±ya½ balavar³p±dike ±rammaºe vutta½ cittappavattigaºana½ sandh±y±ha. Tattha hi dveva tad±rammaºuppattiv±r± ±gat±. Javanavisay±nubhavanañhi tad±rammaºa½ ±sannabhede tasmi½ visaye ekacittakkhaº±vasiµµh±yuke na uppajjeyy±ti adhipp±yo. Anur³p±ya paµisandhiy±ti akusalavip±kassa ap±yapaµisandhi, k±m±vacar±dikusalavip±k±na½ k±mar³p±r³pasugatipaµisandhiyo yath±kamma½ anur³p±.
Paµisandhikath± mah±visay±ti katv± pavattimeva t±va dassento “pavattiya½ pan±”ti-±dim±ha. Ahetukadvay±d²na½ dv±raniyam±niyam±vacana½ bhavaªgabh³t±na½ sayameva dv±ratt± cutipaµisandhibh³t±nañca bhavaªgasaªkh±tena aññena ca dv±rena anuppattito niyata½ aniyata½ v± dv±ra½ etesanti vattu½ asakkuºeyyatt±. Indriyappavatti-±nubh±vato eva cakkhusotadv±rabhedena, tassa ca viññ±ºav²thibhed±yattatt± v²thibhedena ca bhavitabba½, tasmiñca sati “±vajjan±nantara½ dassana½ savana½ v± tadanantara½ sampaµicchanan”ti-±din± cittaniyamena bhavitabba½. Tath± ca sati sampaµicchanasant²raº±nampi bh±vo siddho hoti, na indriyappavatti-±nubh±vena dassanasavanamattasseva, n±pi indriy±na½ eva dassanasavanakiccat±ti imamattha½ dassento ±ha “dv±rav²thibhede cittaniyamato c±”ti. Paµhamakusalena ce tad±rammaºassa uppatti hoti, ta½ paµhamakusal±nantara½ uppajjam±na½ janaka½ anubandhati n±ma, dutiyakusal±di-anantara½ uppajjam±na½ janakasadisa½ anubandhati n±ma, akusal±nantara½ uppajjam±nañca k±m±vacarat±ya janakasadisanti.
Ek±dasa tad±rammaºacitt±ni…pe… tad±rammaºa½ na gaºhant²ti tad±rammaºabh±vat±ya “tad±rammaºan”ti laddhan±m±ni tad±rammaºabh±va½ na gaºhanti, tad±rammaºabh±vena nappavattant²ti attho. Atha v± n±magotta½ ±rabbha javane javite tad±rammaºa½ tassa javanassa ±rammaºa½ na gaºhanti, n±lambant²ti attho. R³p±r³padhammeti r³p±r³p±vacare dhamme. Ida½ pana vatv± “abhiññ±ñ±ºa½ ±rabbh±”ti visesana½ paritt±di-±rammaºat±ya k±m±vacarasadisesu ceva tad±rammaº±nuppattidassanattha½. Micchattaniyat± dhamm± maggo viya bh±van±ya siddh± mah±bal± c±ti tattha javanena pavattam±nena s±nubandhanena na bhavitabbanti tesu tad±rammaºa½ paµikkhitta½. Lokuttaradhamme ±rabbh±ti eteneva siddhe “sammattaniyatadhammes³”ti visu½ uddharaºa½ sammattamicchattaniyatadhamm±na½ aññamaññapaµipakkh±ti balavabh±vena tad±rammaºassa avatthubh±vadassanattha½.
Eva½ pavattiya½ viññ±ºappavatti½ dassetv± paµisandhiya½ dassetu½ “ya½ pana vuttan”ti-±dim±ha. Kena katth±ti kena cittena kasmi½ bhave. Ek³nav²sati paµisandhiyo tena tena cittena pavattam±n± paµisandhikkhaºe r³p±r³padhamm±ti tena tena cittena s± s± tattha tattha paµisandhi hot²ti vutt±. Tass±ti cittassa.

Ida½ panettha k±raºa½ siy±– “t±nissa tamhi samaye olambanti ajjholambanti abhippalambant²”ti (ma. ni. 3.248) vacanato t²su javanav±resu appavattesveva kamm±di-upaµµh±nena bhavitabba½. Anekajavanav±rappavattiy± hi ajjholambana½ abhippalambanañca hot²ti. Sant±ne hi vin±mite tadekadesabh³ta½ paµisandhicittañca vin±mitameva hoti, na ca ekadesavin±mitabh±vena vin± sant±navin±mitat± atth²ti. Sabbattha pana “duggatipaµisandhininn±ya cutiy± purimajavan±ni akusal±ni, itar±ya ca kusal±n²”ti nicchinanti. “Nimittass±dagadhita½ v±, bhikkhave, viññ±ºa½ tiµµham±na½ tiµµhati anubyañjanass±dagadhita½ v±. Tasmi½ ce samaye k±la½ karoti, µh±nameta½ vijjati, ya½ dvinna½ gat²na½ aññatara½ gati½ upapajjeyya niraya½ v± tiracch±nayoni½ v±”ti (sa½. ni. 4.235) vutta½. Tasm± ±sanna½ akusala½ duggatiya½, kusalañca sugatiya½ paµisandhiy± upanissayo hot²ti.
R±g±dihetubh³ta½ h²nam±rammaºanti akusalavip±kassa ±rammaºa½ bhavitu½ yutta½ aniµµh±rammaºa½ ±ha. Tampi hi saªkappavasena r±gassapi hetu hot²ti. Akusalavip±kajanakakammasahaj±t±na½ v± ta½sadis±sannacutijavanacetan±sahaj±t±nañca r±g±d²na½ hetubh±vo eva h²nat±. Tañhi pacch±nut±pajanakakamm±nam±rammaºa½ kammavasena aniµµha½ akusalavip±kassa ±rammaºa½ bhaveyya, aññath± ca iµµh±rammaºe pavattassa akusalakammassa vip±ko kammanimitt±rammaºo na bhaveyya. Na hi akusalavip±ko iµµh±rammaºo bhavitumarahat²ti. Pañcadv±re ca ±p±tham±gacchanta½ paccuppanna½ kammanimitta½ ±sannakatakamm±rammaºasantatiya½ uppanna½ ta½sadisañca daµµhabba½, aññath± tadeva paµisandhi-±rammaº³paµµh±paka½ tadeva ca paµisandhijanaka½ bhaveyya, na ca paµisandhiy± upac±rabh³t±ni viya “etasmi½ tay± pavattitabban”ti paµisandhiy± ±rammaºa½ anup±dent±ni viya ca pavatt±ni cuti-±sann±ni javan±ni paµisandhijanak±ni bhaveyyu½. “Katatt± upacitatt±”ti (dha. sa. 431) hi vutta½. Tad± ca ta½sam±nav²thiya½ viya pavattam±n±ni katha½ kat³pacit±ni siyu½, na ca ass±dit±ni tad±, na ca lokiy±ni lokuttar±ni viya sam±nav²thiphal±ni honti.
“Pubbe v±ssa ta½ kata½ hoti p±pakamma½ dukkhavedan²ya½, pacch± v±ssa ta½ kata½ hoti p±pakamma½ dukkhavedan²ya½, maraºak±le v±ssa hoti micch±diµµhi samatt± sam±dinn±, tena so k±yassa bhed± para½ maraº± ap±ya½ duggati½ vinip±ta½ niraya½ upapajjat²”ti (ma. ni. 3.303)–

Tattha hi “na kiñci dhamma½ paµivij±n±t²ti ‘manopubbaªgam± dhamm±’ti (dha. pa. 1-2) eva½ vutta½ ekampi kusala½ v± akusala½ v± na paµivij±n±t²”ti (vibha. aµµha. 766) ca vutta½. Yesa½ paµivibh±vanappavattiy± sukha½ v± dukkha½ v± anveti, tesa½ s± pavatti pañcadv±re paµikkhitt±, kusal±kusalakammasam±d±nañca t±disamev±ti. Tad±rammaº±nantara½ pana cavana½, tadanantar± ca upapatti manodv±rik± eva hoti, na sahajavanakav²thicitte pariy±pann±ti imin± adhipp±yena idha pañcadv±rikatad±rammaº±nantara½ cuti, tadanantara½ paµisandhi ca vutt±ti daµµhabba½.
