Ariyasacca-saddo samudaye vattam±no pariññeyyabh±varahite ekantapah±tabbe taºh±saªkh±te samudaye pavattati, na pah±tabbapariññeyyesu avasesakiles±vases±kusalesu appah±tabbesu ca s±savakusalam³l±vasesas±savakusales³ti sappadeso tattha samudayo hoti, kevala½ saccasadde nippadesoti ±ha “nippadesato samudaya½ dassetun”ti. Dukkhanirodh± pana ariyasaccadesan±ya½ dhammato nippades± eva. Na hi tato añño dhammo atthi, yo saccadesan±ya½ dukkha½ nirodhoti ca vattabbo siy±, maggopi aµµhaªgikapañcaªgikav±resu apubbo natthi, tasm± samudayameva “nippadesato dassetun”ti vadati tassa sabbattha t²supi v±resu apubbassa dassitatt±. Apubbasamudayadassanatth±yapi hi saccadesan±ya½ “tattha katamo dukkhasamudayo? Taºh±”ti vacana½ keval±ya taºh±ya sacca-saddassa pavattidassanatthanti. Desan±vasena pana ta½ ta½ samudaya½ µhapetv± dukkha½ tassa tassa pah±navasena nirodho aµµhaªgikapañcaªgikasabbalokuttarakusalavasena maggo ca ariyasaccadesan±ya½ na vuttoti dukkh±d²ni ca tattha sappades±ni dassit±ni hont²ti t±ni ca nippades±ni dassetu½ saccadesan± vutt±ti vattu½ vaµµati. Paccayasaªkh±tanti kammakilesavasena j±ti-±didukkhassa m³labh³tanti attho.
Nirodhasacca½…pe… pañcah±k±rehi niddiµµhanti ariyasaccadesanato saccadesan±ya visesa½ dasseti. Tattha “tiººannañca kusalam³l±na½ avases±nañca s±savakusal±na½ pah±nan”ti ida½ tesa½ paccay±na½ avijj±taºh±-up±d±n±na½ pah±navasena, avijj±d²su v± pah²nesu tesa½ appavattivasena vuttanti veditabba½. Na hi kusal± pah±tabb±ti. Pah±nanti ca maggakiccavasena tadadhigaman²ya½ nirodha½ dasseti, nirodhasseva v± taºh±d²na½ appavattibh±vo pah±nanti daµµhabba½.
Yadipi “pubbeva kho panassa k±yakamma½ vac²kamma½ ±j²vo suparisuddho hoti, evamass±ya½ ariyo aµµhaªgiko maggo bh±van±p±rip³ri½ gacchat²”ti (ma. ni. 3.431) lokuttaramaggakkhaºe aµµhaªgikamaggap±rip³riy± upanissayadassanattha½ ida½ vutta½, tath±pi “pubbeva kho pan±”ti vacana½ k±yakamm±disuddhiy± d³ratarupanissayata½, cakkh±d²su as±rajjantassa asa½yuttassa asamm³¼hassa ±d²nav±nupassino viharato t±yeva vuµµh±nag±miniy± vipassan±ya ±yati½ pañcup±d±nakkhandhesu apacaya½ gacchantesu sabbasaªkh±resu vivaµµanavasena, ponobbhavikataºh±ya pah²yam±n±ya kilesad³r²bh±vena, k±yikacetasikadarathasant±papari¼±hesu pah²yam±nesu passaddhak±yacittavasena k±yikacetasikasukhe paµisa½vediyam±ne “y± tath±bh³tassa diµµhi, s±ssa hoti samm±diµµh²”ti-±din± (ma. ni. 3.431) vutt±na½ vuµµh±nag±minivipassan±kkhaºe pavatt±na½ pañcanna½ samm±diµµh±d²na½ aªg±na½ ±sannatarupanissayatañca dasset²ti ±sannatarupanissayavasena pañcaªgika½ magga½ sukha½ bujjhant±na½ puggal±na½ ajjh±sayavasena pañcaªgikamaggadesan±ya pavattata½ d²peti. Ten±ha “pubbeva kho…pe… suparisuddho hot²ti vacanato”ti-±di. Evamida½ vacanatoti nissakkavacana½ desanup±yassa ñ±pakanidassana½ hoti, vacanatoti v± attano vacan±nur³pa½ pañcaªgikopi maggo paµipad± ev±ti bhagavat± desitoti attho. Katth±ti? Devapure, tasm± ta½ desitanaya½ dassetu½ pañcaªgikav±ropi niddiµµho dhammasaªg±hakehi. Atha v± “pubbeva kho panass±”ti vacaneneva ajjh±sayavisesak±raºanidassakena puggalajjh±sayavasena pañcaªgiko maggopi paµipad± ev±ti desito hot²ti ±ha “pubbeva kho pana…pe… vacanato pana…pe… desito”ti, tasm± ta½ suttante desitanaya½ dassetu½ pañcaªgikav±ropi niddiµµho bhagavat± devapureti attho.
Jh±nehi desan±paveso, bh±van±paveso v± jh±n±bhiniveso. Ekekasmi½ koµµh±se catunna½ catunna½ nayasahass±na½ dassana½ gaºan±sukhatthanti veditabba½. Yath± pana p±¼i µhit±, tath± ekekiss± paµipad±ya suññat±d²su ca pañca pañca koµµh±se yojetv± p±¼igamana½ katanti viññ±yati. Tattha aµµhaªgikav±re dutiyajjh±n±d²su tasmi½ samaye sattaªgiko maggo hot²ti yojan± k±tabb±, sabbasaªg±hikav±re ca yath± vijjam±nadhammavasen±ti.
