Viññ±º±h±ro t±va punabbhav±bhinibbattiy± hetu, itare pana kathanti ±ha “ta½sampayuttatt±…pe… kaba¼²k±r±h±rass±”ti. Tassa ±yati½ punabbhav±bhinibbatti-±h±rak± catt±ro ±h±r±ti sambandho. Akusalañhi kamma½ kammavaµµassa kilesavaµµassa ca paccayo hotiyeva. “Bhavataºh±yapi hetubh³t±”ti imin± kilesavaµµass±pi avijj±ya paccayabh±vam±ha. Evañceta½, bhikkhave, vuccat²”ti-±din± vaµµas²s±nampi avijj±taºh±na½ sappaccayat±dassan±padesena sabbesampi saªkhatadhamm±na½ hetuphalaparampar±vicchedavuttiy± purim±ya koµiy± apaññ±yana½ vibh±veti.
Avijja½ taºh± anuvattat²ti dukkhe taºha½ abhibhavitv± pavattiy± tato avijj±ya balavabh±vam±ha. Avijj±bhibh³t± hi satt± satipi taºh±paritassite ekant±natthasaññita½ attakilamath±nuyogadukkhamanuyuñjanti. Taºha½ avijj± anuvattat²ti sukhe avijja½ abhibhavitv± pavattiy± tato taºh±ya balavabh±vam±ha. Yadipi s±vajjasukh±nubhave balavat²yeva avijj± vijjam±na-±d²nava½ paµicch±dent² tiµµhati, taºh± pana tatopi balavatarat±ya satte vipul±natthasañhite anariye sukhe niyojet²ti avijj±ya tadanuvattana½ vutta½.
¾yatanachakka½ v± k±yoti sambandho. Cakkh±dinissaye sesadhammeti cakkh±dinissayabh³te, tappaµibaddhe ca sasant±napariy±panne dhamme. Cakkh±dinissite eva katv±ti cakkh±diggahaºeneva gahite katv±. Cakkh±dik±yanti cakkh±didhammasam³ha½ paresa½ pañcakkhandha½. Phassena phuµµhoti ±rammaºa½ phusantena viya uppannena sukhavedaniyena, dukkhavedaniyena ca phassena phuµµho. Phasse hi tath± uppanne ta½samaªg²puggalo phuµµhoti voh±ro hot²ti.
Yath± sa¼±yatan±ni phassassa visesapaccayo, eva½ vedan±yap²ti dassento “sa¼±yatan±na½ vedan±ya visesapaccayabh±van”ti ±ha. Tannissitanti sa¼±yatananissita½. At²taddh±vijj±taºh±m³lakoti at²taddhabh³ta-avijj±taºh±m³lako. K±yassa bhed± k±y³pagoti ubhayatth±pi k±yasaddena up±dinnakkhandhapañcako gahito. Tadupagat± upapajjana½ paµisandhiggahaºa½. Ubhayam³loti avijj±taºh±m³lo.
Anabhisamayabh³tatt±ti abhisamayassa paµipakkhabh³tatt±. Avijj±y±ti avijj±ya sati.
Gahaºanti gahetabbata½. Tasm±ti yasm± sati saªkh±rasaddena ±gatasaªkh±rattepi avijj±paccay± saªkh±r± padh±nat±ya visu½ vutt± gobal²baddañ±yena, tasm±. Tattha vuttamp²ti saªkh±rasaddena ±gatasaªkh±resu vuttampi abhisaªkharaºakasaªkh±ra½ vajjetv± aggahetv± itare saªkh±r± yojetabb±. Evañhi atthassa uddharaºuddharitabbat±dvaya½ asaªkarato dassita½ hoti. “Idha vaººetabbabh±ven±”ti imin± avijj±paccay± saªkh±r±na½ satipi saªkh±rasaddena ±gatasaªkh±rabh±ve yath±vuttameva padh±nabh±va½ ulliªgeti. “Avijj±paccay± saªkh±r±”ti tadekadeso vuttoti sambandho. Imasmi½ atthavikappe saªgaºhanavasena saªkh±rasaddena ±gatasaªkh±rehi saªgahit±pi avijj±paccay± saªkh±r± idha vaººetabbabh±vena padh±n±ti visu½ gahit±, purimasmi½ te vajjetv±ti aya½ viseso. Ten±ha “vaººetabbasabbasaªgahaºavasena duvidhat± vutt±”ti. S±maññato saªgayham±nampi padh±nabh±vajotanattha½ visu½ gayhati yath± ta½ “puññañ±ºasambh±r±”ti.
Yena kusal±kusaladhamm± “vip±kadhamm±”ti vuccanti, ta½ ±y³hana½, ki½ pana tanti? Anupacchinnataºh±vijj±m±ne sant±ne saby±p±rat±. Ten±ha “paµisandhi…pe… ±y³hanaras±”ti. Cetan±padh±natt± pana tassa cetan±kicca½ katv± vutta½. R±sikaraºa½, ±y³hananti ca r±sibh³tassa r³p±r³pasaªkh±tassa phalassa nibbattanato vutta½. “An±rammaºat± aby±katat±”ti ida½ aby±katasseva an±rammaºatt± aby±katasambandhin² an±rammaºat±ti katv± vutta½. ¾yatana½, ghaµananti ca ta½ta½dv±rikadhammappavattanameva daµµhabba½.
Ananubodh±dayo avijj±padaniddese ±gat±. Avijj±padasambandhena diµµhivippayutt±ti itthiliªganiddeso. Asaºµh±natt±ti aviggahatt±.
Sok±d²na½ sabbh±v±ti “j±tipaccay± jar±maraºan”ti aniµµh±petv± tadanantara½ sok±d²nampi vutt±na½ vijjam±natt± tesa½ vasena aªgabahuttappasaªge paµiccasamupp±daªg±na½ bahubh±ve ±panne. Dv±dasev±ti katha½ dv±daseva, nanu sok±dayopi dhammantarabh³t± paµiccasamupp±dadesan±ya½ vutt±ti? Sacca½ vutt±, na pana aªgantarabh±ven±ti dassento “na h²”ti-±dim±ha. Tattha phalen±ti phalabh³tena jar±maraºaªgasaªgahitena sok±din±. M³laªga½ dassetunti im±ya paµiccasamupp±dadesan±ya m³labh³ta½ avijjaªga½ socan±d²hi sammoh±pattikathanena dassetu½ te sok±dayo vutt± bhavacakkassa avicchedadassanattha½. Avijj± sok±d²na½ k±raºanti dassit± assutavat±ya avijj±bhibhavanad²paniy± taduppattivacanato. “Na sok±d²na½ b±lassa jar±maraºanimittat±mattassa s±dhaka½ suttan”ti vuttamattha½ p±kaµa½ k±tu½ “na c±”ti-±di vutta½. Tena na ca jar±maraºanimittameva dukkha½ dukkha½, atha kho avijj±nimittampettha vuttanayena yojetabbanti dasseti. Eva½ jar±maraºena sok±d²na½ ekasaªkhepa½ katv± dv±daseva paµiccasamupp±daªg±ni veditabb±ni.

Sati kilesavaµµe kammun± tato punabbhav³papatti, asati pana tasmi½ “esevanto dukkhass±”ti jar±maraºapariyos±n±va desan± kat±. Yasm± pana na amaraº± jar± atthi sabbesa½ uppattimant±na½ p±k±nantarabhedato, na c±jara½ maraºa½ ap±kabhed±bh±v±, tasm± tadubhayamekamaªga½ kata½, na n±mar³pa½ viya ubhayaµµh±ne ekajjha½ uppattiy±, sa¼±yatana½ viya v± ±yatanabh±vena kiccasamat±ya.
