Nijj²vamattasseta½ adhivacananti etena nijj²vamattapadatthe dh±tu-saddassa niru¼hata½ dasseti. Sabb±sa½ vasen±ti yath±vutt±na½ ±bh±dh±tu-±d²na½ pañcati½s±ya dh±t³na½ vasena. Aparamatthasabh±vassa paramatthasabh±vesu na kad±ci antogadhat± atth²ti ±ha “sabh±vato vijjam±n±nan”ti. Cand±bh±s³riy±bh±dik± vaººanibh± ev±ti ±ha “r³padh±tuyeva hi ±bh±dh±t³”ti. R³p±dipaµibaddh±ti r±gavatthubh±vena gahetabb±k±ro subhanimittanti sandh±ya “r³p±dayov±”ti avatv± paµibaddhavacana½ ±ha. Viññ±ºadh±tu-saddena sambandhe kariyam±ne dve manogahaº±ni na kattabb±ni. Na hi dve manoviññ±ºadh±tuyo atth²ti. “Cakkhu…pe… k±yamanoviññ±ºamanodh±t³”ti v± vattabba½ atulyayoge dvandasam±s±bh±vato. Aya½ panettha p±µho siy± “cakkhu…pe… k±yaviññ±ºamanomanoviññ±ºadh±tubheden±”ti.
Khandh±yatanadesan± saªkhepadesan±, indriyadesan± vitth±radesan±ti tadubhaya½ apekkhitv± n±tisaªkhepavitth±r± dh±tudesan±. Atha v± suttantabh±jan²ye vuttadh±tudesan± atisaªkhepadesan±, ±bh±dh±tu-±d²na½ anekadh±tun±n±dh±tu-ant±na½ vasena desetabb± ativitth±radesan±ti tadubhaya½ apekkhitv± aya½ “n±tisaªkhepavitth±r±”ti.
Bher²tala½ viya cakkhudh±tu saddassa viya viññ±ºassa nissayabh±vato. Et±hi ca upam±hi nijj²v±na½ bher²taladaº¹±d²na½ sam±yoge nijj²v±na½ sadd±d²na½ viya nijj²v±na½ cakkhur³p±d²na½ sam±yoge nijj²v±na½ cakkhuviññ±º±d²na½ pavatt²ti k±raºaphal±na½ dh±tumattatt± k±rakavedakabh±vaviraha½ dasseti.
Purecar±nucar± viy±ti nijj²vassa kassaci keci nijj²v± purecar±nucar± viy±ti attho. Muñcitv±pi añña½ gahetv±v±ti etena makkaµassa gahita½ s±kha½ muñcitv±pi ±k±se µh±tu½ asamatthat± viya gahit±rammaºa½ muñcitv±pi añña½ aggahetv± pavattitu½ asamatthat±ya makkaµasam±nata½ dasseti. Aµµhivedhaviddhopi damatha½ anupagacchanto duµµhasso assakha¼uªko. Raªgagato naµo raªganaµo.

Sabbadhammes³ti ettha sabba-saddo adhik±ravasena yath±vuttaviññ±ºasaªkh±te ±rammaºasaªkh±te v± padesasabbasmi½ tiµµhat²ti daµµhabbo. Manoviññ±ºadh±tuniddese “cakkhuviññ±ºadh±tuy± uppajjitv± niruddhasamanantar± uppajjati manodh±tu, manodh±tuy±pi uppajjitv± niruddhasamanantar± uppajjati cittan”ti cakkhuviññ±ºadh±t±nantara½ manodh±tu viya manodh±t±nantarampi uppajjati cittanti y±va aññ± manodh±tu uppajjissati, t±va pavatta½ sabba½ citta½ ekattena gahetv± vuttanti evampi attho labbhati. Evañhi sati manoviññ±ºadh±t±nantara½ uppann±ya manodh±tuy± manoviññ±ºadh±tubh±vappasaªgo na hotiyeva. Pañcaviññ±ºadh±tumanodh±tukkamanidassanañhi tabbidhurasabh±vena uppattiµµh±nena ca paricchinnassa cittassa manoviññ±ºadh±tubh±vadassanattha½, na anantaruppattimatten±ti tabbidhurasabh±ve ekatta½ upanetv± dassana½ yujjati. Anupan²tepi ekatte tabbidhurasabh±ve ekasmi½ dassite s±maññavasena aññampi sabba½ ta½ sabh±va½ dassita½ hot²ti daµµhabba½. Pi-saddena manoviññ±ºadh±tusampiº¹ane ca sati “manoviññ±ºadh±tuy±pi samanantar± uppajjati citta½…pe… tajj± manoviññ±ºadh±t³”ti manoviññ±ºadh±tuggahaºena bhavaªg±nantara½ uppanna½ manodh±tucitta½ nivattita½ hot²ti ce? Na, tass± manoviññ±ºadh±tubh±v±siddhito. Na hi ya½ cod²yati, tadeva parih±r±ya hot²ti.
Manodh±tuy±pi manoviññ±ºadh±tuy±p²ti manadvayavacanena dvinna½ aññamaññavidhurasabh±vat± dassit±ti teneva manodh±t±vajjanassa manoviññ±ºadh±tubh±vo nivattitoti daµµhabbo. Vutto hi tassa manoviññ±ºadh±tuvidhuro manodh±tusabh±vo “sabbadhammesu v± pana paµhamasamann±h±ro uppajjat²”ti-±din±. S± sabb±p²ti eta½ mukhamattanidassana½. Na hi javanapariyos±n± eva manoviññ±ºadh±tu, tad±rammaº±d²nipi pana hontiyev±ti. Eva½ pañcaviññ±ºadh±tumanodh±tuvisiµµhasabh±vavasena sabba½ manoviññ±ºadh±tu½ dassetv± puna manodv±ravasena s±tisaya½ javanamanoviññ±ºadh±tu½ dassento “manañca paµicc±”ti-±dim±ha. Yadi pana channa½ dv±r±na½ vasena javan±vas±n±neva citt±ni idha “manoviññ±ºadh±t³”ti dassit±n²ti ayamattho gayheyya, cutipaµisandhibhavaªg±na½ aggahitatt± s±vases± desan± ±pajjati, tasm± yath±vuttena nayena attho veditabbo.
