183. ¾veºikattho atisayattho ca visesasaddo hot²ti tadubhaya½ dassetu½ “puggalantar±s±dh±raºa½, n²l±disabbar³pas±dh±raºañc±”ti vutta½. As±dh±raºak±raºen±pi hi niddeso hoti yath± “bherisaddo, yavaªkuro”ti. Atisayak±raºenapi yath± “at²t±n±gatapaccuppann±na½ kammasam±d±n±na½ µh±naso hetuso vip±ka½ yath±bh³ta½ paj±n±t²”ti (kath±. 355; paµi. ma. 2.44). Dh±tu-attho ev±ti “dh±tu”iti imassa dh±tusaddasseva attho. Dh±tuvacan²yo hi attho upasaggena jot²yati.
Purimena asadiso vidh±nadh±raºatth±na½ p±kaµo bhedoti. Visabh±galakkhaº± visadisasabh±v± avayav± bh±g±, tesu.
Yath±sambhavanti kiriy±manodh±tu upanissayakoµiy±, vip±kamanodh±tu vip±kamanoviññ±ºassa anantar±din±pi, itarassa sabb±pi upanissayakoµiy±va. Dhammadh±tu pana vedan±dik± sahaj±t± sahaj±t±din±, asahaj±t± anantar±din±, upanissayena ±rammaº±din± ca manoviññ±ºassa paccayoti eva½ manodh±tudhammadh±t³na½ manoviññ±ºassa hetubh±vo yath±sambhava½ yojetabbo. Dv±rabh³tamanopi sutte “manodh±t³”ti vuccat²ti ±ha “dv±rabh³tamanovasena v±”ti. Tass± manodh±tuy± manoviññ±ºassa hetubh±vo yath±sambhava½ yojetabboti sambandho.
Purimanayen±ti visesana½ dutiyanayassa h²nattikavaseneva vibhattatt±. N±n±dh±t³nañca cakkhudh±tu-±d²nanti sambandho.
Na hi dve manoviññ±ºadh±tuyo santi aµµh±rasadh±tuvibh±gadassaneti adhipp±yo. Khandh±yatanadh±tindriy±na½yeva vasena saªkhep±divibh±gadassana½ tesa½ bahula½ pariññeyyadhammasaªgaºhanato. Saccadesan± pana atisa½khittabh±vatoyevettha bahikat±.
Nijj²vass±ti-±di visesato sattasuññat±d²panatth± dh±tudesan±ti katv± vutta½. Purimanayo aññesampi kamavutt²na½ dh±t³na½ sambhavat²ti adhipp±yena vuttoti “manodh±tuyeva v±”ti-±din± dutiyanayo vutto. Tattha avijjam±nepi purecar±nucarabh±veti purecar±nucar±bhisandhiy± abh±vepi kevala½ anantarapubbak±la-anantar±parak±lat±ya manodh±tu purecar±nucar± viya daµµhabb±ti vutt±.
“Añña½ aggahetv± pavattitu½ asamatthat±y±”ti etena viññ±ºassa ekantas±rammaºat±dassanena “±rammaºena vin± sayameva n²l±di-±bh±sa½ citta½ pavattat²”ti eva½ pavattita½ viññ±ºav±da½ paµisedheti.
184. Ekan±n±sant±nagat±nanti ekasant±nagat±na½ abhinnasant±nagat±na½ dv±r±na½, n±n±sant±nagat±na½ bhinnasant±nagat±na½ ±rammaº±nanti yojan±. Ekan±n±j±tikatt±ti cakkh±di-ekekaj±tikatt± dv±r±na½, n²l±di-anekaj±tikatt± ±rammaº±na½.
Cakkh±di ekampi viññ±ºassa paccayo hoti, r³p±di pana anekameva sa½hatanti imassa v± atthavisesassa dassanattha½ cakkhur³p±d²su vacanabhedo kato. Ki½ pana k±raºa½ cakkh±di ekampi viññ±ºassa paccayo hoti, r³p±di pana anekamev±ti? Paccayabh±vavisesato. Cakkhu hi cakkhuviññ±ºassa nissayapurej±ta-indriyavippayuttapaccayehi paccayo honta½ atthibh±veneva hoti tasmi½ sati tassa bh±vato, asati abh±vato, yato ta½ atthi-avigatapaccayehissa paccayo hot²ti vuccat²ti. Ta½nissayat± cassa na ekadesena all²yanavasena icchitabb± ar³pabh±vato, atha kho garur±j±d²su sissar±japuris±d²na½ viya tappaµibaddhavuttit±ya. Itare ca paccay± tena tena visesena veditabb±. Sv±ya½ paccayabh±vo na ekasmi½ na sambhavat²ti ekampi cakkhu cakkhuviññ±ºassa paccayo hot²ti dassetu½ p±¼iya½ “cakkhuñca paµicc±”ti ekavacananiddeso kato.
R³pa½ pana yadipi cakkhu viya purej±ta-atthi-avigatapaccayehi paccayo hoti puretara½ uppanna½ hutv± vijjam±nakkhaºeyeva upak±rakatt±, tath±pi anekameva sa½hata½ hutv± paccayo hoti ±rammaºabh±vato. Yañhi paccayadhamma½ sabh±vabh³ta½, parikappit±k±ramatta½ v± viññ±ºa½ vibh±venta½ pavattati, tadaññesañca satipi paccayabh±ve so tassa s±rammaºasabh±vato ya½ kiñci an±lambitv± pavattitu½ asamatthassa olubbha pavattik±raºat±ya ±lamban²yato ±rammaºa½ n±ma. Tassa yasm± yath± yath± sabh±v³paladdhi viññ±ºassa ±rammaºapaccayal±bho, tasm± cakkhuviññ±ºa½ r³pa½ ±rabbha pavattam±na½ tassa sabh±va½ vibh±ventameva pavattati. S± cassa indriy±dh²navuttikassa ±rammaºasabh±v³paladdhi na ekadvikal±pagatavaººavaseneva hoti, n±pi katipayakal±pavaººavasena, atha kho ±bhog±nur³pa½ ±p±thagatavaººavasen±ti anekameva r³pa½ sa½haccak±rit±ya viññ±ºassa paccayo hot²ti dassento bhagav± “r³pe c±”ti bahuvacanena niddisi.
Ya½ pana “r³p±yatana½ cakkhuviññ±ºadh±tuy±, ta½sampayuttak±nañca dhamm±na½ ±rammaºapaccayena paccayo”ti (paµµh±. 1.1.1) vutta½, ta½ kathanti? Tampi y±disa½ r³p±yatana½ cakkhuviññ±ºassa ±rammaºapaccayo, t±disameva sandh±ya vutta½. K²disa½ pana tanti? Samuditanti p±kaµoyamattho. Evañca katv± yadeke vadanti “±yatanasallakkhaºavasena cakkhuviññ±º±dayo sallakkhaº±rammaº±, na dabyasallakkhaºavasen±”ti, ta½ yuttameva hoti. Na cettha samud±y±rammaºat± ±saªkitabb± samud±y±bhogasseva abh±vato, samudit± pana vaººadhamm± ±rammaºapaccay± honti. Katha½ pana pacceka½ asamatth± samudit± ±rammaº± honti, na hi pacceka½ daµµhu½ asakkont± andh± samudit± passant²ti? Nayidamekantika½ visu½ asamatth±na½ sivik±vahan±d²su samatthat±ya dassanato. Kes±d²nañca yasmi½ µh±ne µhit±na½ pacceka½ vaººa½ gahetu½ na sakk±, tasmi½yeva µh±ne samudit±na½ ta½ gahetu½ sakk±ti bhiyyopi tesa½ sa½haccak±rit± paribyatt±. Etena ki½ cakkhuviññ±ºassa param±ºur³pa½ ±rammaºa½, ud±hu ta½samud±yoti-±dik± codan± paµikkhitt± veditabb±. “Sotañca paµicca sadde c±”ti-±d²supi ayameva nayo.
Evampi attho labbhat²ti “manodh±tuy±p²”ti pi-saddena na kevala½ javanapariyos±n± manoviññ±ºadh±tuyeva sampiº¹²yati, atha kho tad±rammaºabhavaªgasaªkh±t±pi sampiº¹²yat²ti evampi attho labbhati, sambhavat²ti attho. Eva½ sat²ti eva½ aññamanodh±tuppavattiy± ora½ pavattacitt±na½ manoviññ±ºadh±tut±dassane sati. Satipi manaso sambh³tabh±ve manodh±tuy± manoviññ±ºadh±tubh±vappasaªgo na hotiyeva ta½sabh±vasseva manoviññ±ºadh±tubh±vena niddiµµhatt±. Id±ni tamevattha½ “pañcaviññ±ºadh±tumanodh±t³”ti-±din± p±kaµatara½ karoti. Tabbidhurasabh±ven±ti pañcaviññ±ºadh±t³hi visadisasabh±vena. Uppattiµµh±nena c±ti manodh±tukiriyamanoviññ±ºadh±tu-±d²hi paricchinnena uppajjanaµµh±nena ca. Id±ni ekattaggahaºa½ vin±pi yath±vuttassa atthassa sambhava½ dassetu½ “anupan²tep²”ti-±di vutta½. Tattha s±maññavasen±ti sadisat±vasena. Tass±ti bhavaªg±nantara½ uppannacittassa. Amanoviññ±ºadh±tubh±v±siddhitoti manodh±tubh±v±siddhito. Na hi “manoviññ±ºadh±tuy±pi uppajjitv± niruddhasamanantara½ uppajjati citta½…pe… tajj± manoviññ±ºadh±t³”ti ida½ vacana½ bhavaªg±nantara½ uppannacittassa manodh±tubh±va½ s±dheti. Siddhe hi manodh±tubh±ve ta½ tassa nivattaka½ siy±ti adhipp±yo. Manoviññ±ºadh±tuy± pana uppannassa cittassa manoviññ±ºadh±tubh±vad²paka½ vacana½ t±dis±ya manodh±tuy±pi manoviññ±ºadh±tubh±vameva d²peyy±ti katha½ tass± nivattaka½ siy±ti ±ha “na hi ya½ cod²yati, tadeva parih±r±ya hot²”ti.
Yadi eva½ pañcadv±r±vajjanassa manoviññ±ºadh±tubh±v±patti ev±ti codana½ manasi katv± ±ha “manodh±tuy±p²”ti-±di. Pañcaviññ±ºehi manodh±t³hi ca visiµµho sabh±vo pañcaviññ±ºa…pe… sabh±vo, tassa vasena. Cutipaµisandhibhavaªg±nanti tad±rammaºampi bhavaªgantogadha½ katv± vutta½. Javan±vas±n±n²ti v± javan±rammaºatt± tad±rammaºampi gahita½ daµµhabba½. Tenev±ha “chadv±rikacittehi v±”ti-±di.
Visu½ k±tu½ yuttanti ±vajjanampi yadipi r³p±divisaya½ hoti, javana½ viya ±rammaºaras±nubhavana½ pana na hot²ti edise µh±ne visu½ k±tabbameva. Mano ti ca-saddo “manañca paµicc±”ti-±d²su viya na sampiº¹anattho, atha kho byatirekattho daµµhabbo.
