Athassa manasikaroto keci koµµh±s± upaµµhahanti, keci na upaµµhahanti. Tena ye ye upaµµhahanti tesu tesu t±va kamma½ k±tabba½, y±va dv²su upaµµhitesu tesampi eko suµµhutara½ upaµµhahati. Sace, bhikkhave, adhicittamanuyutto bhikkhu ekanta½ sam±dhinimitta½yeva manasikareyya, µh±na½ ta½ citta½ kosajj±ya sa½vatteyya. Sace, bhikkhave, adhicittamanuyutto bhikkhu ekanta½ paggahanimitta½yeva manasikareyya, µh±na½ ta½ citta½ uddhacc±ya sa½vatteyya. Sace, bhikkhave, adhicittamanuyutto bhikkhu ekanta½ upekkh±nimitta½yeva manasikareyya, µh±na½ ta½ citta½ na samm±sam±dhiyeyya ±sav±na½ khay±ya. Yato ca kho, bhikkhave, adhicittamanuyutto bhikkhu k±lena k±la½ sam±dhinimitta½, paggahanimitta½, upekkh±nimitta½ manasikaroti, ta½ hoti citta½ mudu ca kammaniyańca pabhassarańca, na ca pabhaŖgu, samm± sam±dhiyati ±sav±na½ khay±ya.
“Seyyath±pi, bhikkhave, suvaŗŗak±ro v± suvaŗŗak±rantev±s² v± ukka½ bandhati, ukka½ bandhitv± ukk±mukha½ ±limpeti, ukk±mukha½ ±limpetv± saŗ¹±sena j±tar³pa½ gahetv± ukk±mukhe pakkhipeyya, ukk±mukhe pakkhipitv± k±lena k±la½ abhidhamati, k±lena k±la½ udakena paripphoseti, k±lena k±la½ ajjhupekkhati Sace, bhikkhave, suvaŗŗak±ro v± suvaŗŗak±rantev±s² v± ta½ j±tar³pa½ ekanta½ abhidhameyya, µh±na½ ta½ j±tar³pa½ ¹aheyya. Sace, bhikkhave, suvaŗŗak±ro v± suvaŗŗak±rantev±s² v± ta½ j±tar³pa½ ekanta½ udakena paripphoseyya, µh±na½ ta½ j±tar³pa½ nibb±yeyya. Sace, bhikkhave, suvaŗŗak±ro v± suvaŗŗak±rantev±s² v± ta½ j±tar³pa½ ekanta½ ajjhupekkheyya, µh±na½ ta½ j±tar³pa½ na samm± parip±ka½ gaccheyya.
“Yato ca kho, bhikkhave, suvaŗŗak±ro v± suvaŗŗak±rantev±s² v± ta½ j±tar³pa½ k±lena k±la½ abhidhamati, k±lena k±la½ udakena paripphoseti, k±lena k±la½ ajjhupekkhati, ta½ hoti j±tar³pa½ mudu ca kammaniyańca pabhassarańca, na ca pabhaŖgu, samm± upeti kamm±ya; yass± yass± ca pi¼andhanavikatiy± ±kaŖkhati– yadi paµµik±ya yadi kuŗ¹al±ya yadi g²veyyak±ya yadi suvaŗŗam±l±ya, tańcassa attha½ anubhoti.
“Evameva kho, bhikkhave, adhicittamanuyuttena…pe… samm± sam±dhiyati ±sav±na½ khay±ya; yassa yassa ca abhińń±sacchikaraŗ²yassa dhammassa citta½ abhininn±meti abhińń± sacchikiriy±ya, tatra tatreva sakkhibhabbata½ p±puŗ±ti sati sati-±yatane”ti (a. ni. 3.103) ida½ sutta½ adhicittanti veditabba½.
“Chahi, bhikkhave, dhammehi samann±gato bhikkhu bhabbo anuttara½ s²tibh±va½ sacchik±tu½. Katamehi chahi? Idha, bhikkhave, bhikkhu yasmi½ samaye citta½ niggahetabba½ tasmi½ samaye citta½ niggaŗh±ti, yasmi½ samaye citta½ paggahetabba½ tasmi½ samaye citta½ paggaŗh±ti, yasmi½ samaye citta½ sampaha½sitabba½ tasmi½ samaye citta½ sampaha½seti, yasmi½ samaye citta½ ajjhupekkhitabba½ tasmi½ samaye citta½ ajjhupekkhati, paŗ²t±dhimuttiko ca hoti nibb±n±bhirato ca. Imehi kho, bhikkhave, chahi dhammehi samann±gato bhikkhu bhabbo anuttara½ s²tibh±va½ sacchik±tun”ti (a. ni. 6.85) ida½ sutta½ s²tibh±voti veditabba½.
BojjhaŖgakosalla½ pana “evameva kho, bhikkhave, yasmi½ samaye l²na½ citta½ hoti, ak±lo tasmi½ samaye passaddhisambojjhaŖgassa bh±van±y±”ti (sa½. ni. 5.234) sa½yuttamah±vagge bojjhaŖgasa½yutte ±gatameva.
Iti ida½ sattavidha½ uggahakosalla½ suggahita½ katv± imańca dasavidha½ manasik±rakosalla½ suµµhu vavatthapetv± tena yogin± ubhayakosallavasena kammaµµh±na½ s±dhuka½ uggahetabba½. Sace panassa ±cariyena saddhi½ ekavih±reyeva ph±su hoti, eva½ vitth±rena akath±petv± kammaµµh±namanuyuńjantena visesa½ labhitv± upar³pari kath±petabba½. Ańńattha vasituk±mena yath±vuttena vidhin± vitth±rato kath±petv± punappuna½ parivattetv± sabba½ gaŗµhiµµh±na½ chinditv± kammaµµh±nabh±van±ya ananur³pa½ sen±sana½ pah±ya mah±v±sat±di-aµµh±rasadosavajjite anur³pe vih±re viharantena khuddakapalibodhupaccheda½ katv± yo t±va r±gacarito hoti, tena yasm± r±go pah±tabbo, tasm± paµikk³lamanasik±re parikamma½ k±tabba½.
Karontena pana kesesu t±va nimitta½ gahetabba½. Katha½? Eka½ v± dve v± kese luńcitv± hatthatale µhapetv± vaŗŗo t±va vavatthapetabbo. Chinnaµµh±nepi kese oloketu½ vaµµati; udakapatte v± y±gupatte v± oloketumpi vaµµatiyeva. K±¼akak±le disv± k±¼ak±ti manasik±tabb±; setak±le set±ti. Missakak±le pana ussadavasena manasik±tabb± honti. Yath± ca kesesu, eva½ sakalepi tacapańcake disv±va nimitta½ gahetabba½. Eva½ nimitta½ gahetv± sabbakoµµh±sesu vaŗŗasaŗµh±nadisok±saparicchedavasena vavatthapetv± vaŗŗasaŗµh±nagandha-±sayok±savasena pańcadh± paµikk³lato vavatthapetabb±.
Tatr±ya½ sabbakoµµh±sesu anupubbakath±– kes± t±va pakativaŗŗena k±¼ak± add±riµµhakavaŗŗ±, saŗµh±nato d²ghavaµµalik± tul±daŗ¹asaŗµh±n±, disato uparimadis±ya j±t±, ok±sato ubhosu passesu kaŗŗac³¼ik±hi, purato nal±µantena, pacchato galav±µakena paricchinn±. S²sakaµ±haveµhana½ allacamma½ kes±na½ ok±so. Paricchedato kes± s²saveµhanacamme v²haggamatta½ pavisitv± patiµµhitena heµµh± attano m³latalena, upari ±k±sena, tiriya½ ańńamańńena paricchinn±. Dve kes± ekato natth²ti aya½ sabh±gaparicchedo.
‘Kes± na lom±, lom± na kes±’ti eva½ avasesehi ekati½sakoµµh±sehi amiss²kat± kes± n±ma p±µiyekko koµµh±soti aya½ visabh±gaparicchedo. Ida½ kes±na½ vaŗŗ±dito vavatth±pana½.
Ida½ pana tesa½ vaŗŗ±divasena pańcadh± paµikk³lato vavatth±pana½– kes± ca n±mete vaŗŗatopi paµikk³l±, saŗµh±natopi gandhatopi ±sayatopi ok±satopi paµikk³l±. Manuńńepi hi y±gupatte v± bhattapatte v± kesavaŗŗa½ kińci disv± ‘kesamissakamida½, haratha nan’ti jigucchanti. Eva½ kes± vaŗŗato paµikk³l±. Ratti½ bhuńjant±pi kesasaŗµh±na½ akkav±ka½ v± makaciv±ka½ v± chupitv±pi tatheva jigucchanti. Eva½ saŗµh±nato paµikk³l±.
Telamakkhanapupphadh³m±disaŖkh±ravirahit±nańca kes±na½ gandho paramajeguccho hoti, tato jegucchataro aggimhi pakkhitt±na½. Kes± hi vaŗŗasaŗµh±nato appaµikk³l±pi siyu½, gandhena pana paµikk³l±yeva. Yath± hi daharassa kum±rassa vacca½ vaŗŗato ha¼iddivaŗŗa½, saŗµh±natopi haliddipiŗ¹asaŗµh±na½; saŖkh±raµµh±ne cha¹¹itańca uddhum±takak±¼asunakhasar²ra½ vaŗŗato t±lapakkavaŗŗa½, saŗµh±nato vaµµetv± vissaµµhamudiŖgasaŗµh±na½, d±µh±pissa sumanamaku¼asadis±ti ubhayampi vaŗŗasaŗµh±nato siy± appaµikk³la½, gandhena pana paµikk³lameva; eva½ kes±pi siyu½ vaŗŗasaŗµh±nato appaµikk³l±, gandhena pana paµikk³l± ev±ti.
Yath± pana asuciµµh±ne g±manissandena j±t±ni s³peyyapaŗŗ±ni n±garikamanuss±na½ jegucch±ni honti aparibhog±ni, eva½ kes±pi pubbalohitamuttakar²sapittasemh±dinissandena j±tatt± atijegucch±ti ida½ nesa½ ‘±sayato’ p±µikulya½. Ime ca kes± n±ma g³thar±simhi uµµhitakaŗŗika½ viya ekatti½sakoµµh±sar±simhi j±t±. Te sus±nasaŖk±raµµh±n±d²su j±tas±ka½ viya, parikh±d²su j±takamalakuvalay±dipuppha½ viya ca asuciµµh±ne j±tatt± paramajegucch±ti ida½ tesa½ ‘ok±sato’ p±µikk³lya½.
