Tattha ‘vibh±gato’ti dukkh±d²nañhi catt±ro catt±ro atth± vibhatt± tath± avitath± anaññath±, ye dukkh±d²ni abhisamentehi abhisametabb±. Yath±ha, “dukkhassa p²¼anaµµho, saªkhataµµho, sant±paµµho, vipariº±maµµho– ime catt±ro dukkhassa dukkhaµµh± tath± avitath± anaññath±. Idañca paµhamasacca½ kucchita½ aneka-upaddav±dhiµµh±nato, tuccha½ b±lajanaparikappitadhuvasubhasukhattabh±vavirahitato. Tattha maggasampayutt± dhamm± s±maññaphal±ni ca “yadanicca½ ta½ dukkhan”ti (sa½. ni. 3.15) vacanato saªkh±radukkhat±ya dukkha½ na ariyasacca½. Nirodho ariyasacca½ na dukkha½. Itara½ pana ariyasaccadvaya½ siy± dukkha½ aniccato, na pana yassa pariññ±ya bhagavati brahmacariya½ vussati tathatthena. Sabb±k±rena pana up±d±nakkhandhapañcaka½ dukkhañceva ariyasaccañca aññatra taºh±ya. Maggasampayutt± dhamm± s±maññaphal±ni ca yassa pariññattha½ bhagavati brahmacariya½ vussati tathatthena neva dukkha½ na ariyasacca½. ‘Suññatekavidh±d²h²’ti ettha suññato t±va paramatthena hi sabb±neva sacc±ni vedakak±rakanibbutagamak±bh±vato suññ±n²ti veditabb±ni. Teneta½ vuccati–
Dukkhameva hi na koci dukkhito, k±rako na kiriy±va vijjati;
atthi nibbuti na nibbuto pum±, maggamatthi gamako na vijjat²ti.

‘Ekavidh±d²h²’ti sabbameva cettha dukkha½ ekavidha½ pavattibh±vato, duvidha½ n±mar³pato, tividha½ k±mar³p±r³p³papatibhavabhedato, catubbidha½ catu-±h±rabhedato, pañcavidha½ pañcup±d±nakkhandhabhedato. Samudayopi ekavidho pavattakabh±vato, duvidho diµµhisampayutt±sampayuttato, tividho k±mabhavavibhavataºh±bhedato, catubbidho catumaggappaheyyato, pañcavidho r³p±bhinandan±dibhedato, chabbidho chataºh±k±yabhedato. Nirodhopi ekavidho asaªkhatadh±tubh±vato, pariy±yena pana duvidho sa-up±disesa-anup±disesato, tividho bhavattayav³pasamato, catubbidho catumagg±dhigaman²yato, pañcavidho pañc±bhinandanav³pasamato, chabbidho chataºh±k±yakkhayabhedato. Maggopi ekavidho bh±vetabbato, duvidho samathavipassan±bhedato dassanabh±van±bhedato v± tividho khandhattayabhedato. Ayañhi sappadesatt± nagara½ viya rajjena nippadesehi t²hi khandhehi saªgahito. “Na kho, ±vuso vis±kha, ariyena aµµhaªgikena maggena tayo khandh± saªgahit±. T²hi ca kho, ±vuso vis±kha, khandhehi ariyo aµµhaªgiko maggo saªgahito. Ettha hi samm±v±c±dayo tayo s²lameva. Tasm± te saj±tito s²lakkhandhena saªgahit±. Kiñc±pi hi p±¼iya½ s²lakkhandheti bhummena niddeso kato, attho pana karaºavaseneva veditabbo. Samm±v±y±m±d²su pana t²su sam±dhi attano dhammat±ya ±rammaºe ekaggabh±vena appetu½ na sakkoti, v²riye pana paggahakicca½ s±dhente satiy± ca apil±panakicca½ s±dhentiy± laddh³pak±ro hutv± sakkoti.
Tatr±ya½ upam±– yath± hi nakkhatta½ k²¼iss±m±ti uyy±na½ paviµµhesu t²su sah±yesu eko supupphita½ campakarukkha½ disv± hattha½ ukkhipitv±pi gahetu½ na sakkuºeyya. Athassa dutiyo onamitv± piµµhi½ dadeyya. So tassa piµµhiya½ µhatv±pi kampam±no gahetu½ na sakkuºeyya. Athassa itaro a½sak³µa½ upan±meyya. Yath± hi heraññiko kah±paºa½ hatthe µhapetv± sabbabh±gesu oloketuk±mo sam±nopi na cakkhutaleneva parivattetu½ sakkoti, aªgulipabbehi pana parivattetv± parivattetv± ito cito ca oloketu½ sakkoti; evameva na paññ± attano dhammat±ya anicc±divasena ±rammaºa½ nicchetu½ sakkoti, abhiniropanalakkhaºena pana ±hananapariy±hananarasena vitakkena ±koµentena viya parivattentena viya ca ±d±ya ±d±ya dinnameva nicchetu½ sakkoti. ‘Sabh±gavisabh±gato’ti sabb±neva ca sacc±ni aññamañña½ sabh±g±ni avitathato attasuññato dukkarapaµivedhato ca. Yath±ha–
