156. Tesa½ niddesav±re tattha katama½ cakkh±yatananti-±d²ni heµµh± vuttanayeneva veditabb±ni.
167. Ya½ paneta½ dhamm±yatananiddese “tattha katam± asaªkhat± dh±tu? R±gakkhayo dosakkhayo mohakkhayo”ti vutta½, tatr±yamattho– asaªkhat± dh±t³ti asaªkhatasabh±va½ nibb±na½. Vitaº¹av±d² pan±ha– ‘p±µiyekka½ nibb±na½ n±ma natthi, kilesakkhayova nibb±nan’ti. ‘Sutta½ ±har±’ti ca vutte “nibb±na½ nibb±nanti kho, ±vuso s±riputta, vuccati; katama½ nu kho, ±vuso, nibb±nanti? Yo kho, ±vuso, r±gakkhayo dosakkhayo mohakkhayo– ida½ vuccati nibb±nan”ti eta½ jambukh±dakasutta½ ±haritv± ‘imin± suttena veditabba½ p±µiyekka½ nibb±na½ n±ma natthi, kilesakkhayova nibb±nan’ti ±ha. So vattabbo– ‘ki½ pana yath± ceta½ sutta½ tath± attho’ti? Addh± vakkhati– ‘±ma natthi suttato muñcitv± attho’ti. Tato vattabbo– ‘ida½ t±va te sutta½ ±bhata½; anantarasutta½ ±har±’ti. Anantarasutta½ n±ma– “arahatta½ arahattanti, ±vuso s±riputta, vuccati; katama½ nu kho, ±vuso, arahattanti? Yo kho, ±vuso, r±gakkhayo dosakkhayo mohakkhayo– ida½ vuccati arahattan”ti (sa½. ni. 4.315) ida½ tassev±nantara½ ±bhatasutta½.
Imasmi½ pana na½ ±bhate ±ha½su– ‘nibb±na½ n±ma dhamm±yatanapariy±panno dhammo, arahatta½ catt±ro khandh±. Nibb±na½ sacchikatv± viharanto dhammasen±pati nibb±na½ pucchitopi arahatta½ pucchitopi kilesakkhayameva ±ha. Ki½ pana nibb±nañca arahattañca eka½ ud±hu n±nan’ti? ‘Eka½ v± hotu n±na½ v±. Ko ettha tay± atibahu½ cuºº²karaºa½ karontena attho’? ‘Na tva½ eka½ n±na½ j±n±s²ti. Nanu ñ±te s±dhu hot²’ti eva½ punappuna½ pucchito vañcetu½ asakkonto ±ha– ‘r±g±d²na½ kh²ºante uppannatt± arahatta½ r±gakkhayo dosakkhayo mohakkhayo’ti vuccat²ti. Tato na½ ±ha½su– ‘mah±kamma½ te kata½. Lañja½ datv±pi ta½ vad±pento etadeva vad±peyya. Yatheva ca te eta½ vibhajitv± kathita½, eva½ idampi sallakkhehi– nibb±nañhi ±gamma r±g±dayo kh²º±ti nibb±na½ r±gakkhayo dosakkhayo mohakkhayoti vutta½. T²ºipi hi et±ni nibb±nasseva adhivacan±n²’ti.
Sace eva½ vutte saññatti½ gacchati icceta½ kusala½; no ce, bahunibb±nat±ya k±retabbo. Katha½? Eva½ t±va pucchitabbo– ‘r±gakkhayo n±ma r±gasseva khayo ud±hu dosamoh±nampi? Dosakkhayo n±ma dosasseva khayo ud±hu r±gamoh±nampi? Mohakkhayo n±ma mohasseva khayo ud±hu r±gados±namp²’ti? Addh± vakkhati– ‘r±gakkhayo n±ma r±gasseva khayo, dosakkhayo n±ma dosasseva khayo, mohakkhayo n±ma mohasseva khayo’ti.
Tato vattabbo– ‘tava v±de r±gakkhayo eka½ nibb±na½ hoti, dosakkhayo eka½, mohakkhayo eka½; tiººa½ akusalam³l±na½ khaye t²ºi nibb±n±ni honti, catunna½ up±d±n±na½ khaye catt±ri, pañcanna½ n²varaº±na½ khaye pañca, channa½ taºh±k±y±na½ khaye cha, sattanna½ anusay±na½ khaye satta, aµµhanna½ micchatt±na½ khaye aµµha, navanna½ taºh±m³lakadhamm±na½ khaye nava, dasanna½ sa½yojan±na½ khaye dasa, diya¹¹hakilesasahassassa khaye p±µiyekka½ p±µiyekka½ nibb±nanti bah³ni nibb±n±ni honti. Natthi pana te nibb±n±na½ pam±ºanti. Eva½ pana aggahetv± nibb±na½ ±gamma r±g±dayo kh²º±ti ekameva nibb±na½ r±gakkhayo dosakkhayo mohakkhayoti vuccati. T²ºipi het±ni nibb±nasseva adhivacan±n²ti gaºha’.

Eva½ pana aggahetv± nibb±na½ ±gamma r±g±dayo kh²º±ti ekameva nibb±na½ r±gakkhayo dosakkhayo mohakkhayoti vuccati. T²ºipi het±ni nibb±nasseva adhivacan±n²ti gaºha’.

Eva½ t±va pucchitabbo– ‘tva½ gotrabhu n±ma atth²ti vades²’ti? ‘¾ma vad±m²’ti. ‘Gotrabhukkhaºe kiles± kh²º±, kh²yanti, kh²yissant²’ti? Na kh²º±, na kh²yanti; apica kho kh²yissant²ti. ‘Gotrabhu pana ki½ ±rammaºa½ karot²’ti? ‘Nibb±na½’. ‘Tava gotrabhukkhaºe kiles± na kh²º±, na kh²yanti; atha kho kh²yissanti. Tva½ akh²ºesuyeva kilesesu kilesakkhaya½ nibb±na½ paññapesi, appah²nesu anusayesu anusayappah±na½ nibb±na½ paññapesi. Ta½ te na sameti. Eva½ pana aggahetv± nibb±na½ ±gamma r±g±dayo kh²º±ti ekameva nibb±na½ r±gakkhayo dosakkhayo mohakkhayoti vuccati. T²ºipi het±ni nibb±nasseva adhivacan±n²ti gaºha’.

J±nam±no vakkhati– ‘kh²º±ti v± kh²yissant²ti v± vattu½ na vaµµati, kh²yant²ti vattu½ vaµµat²’ti. ‘Yadi eva½, maggassa kilesakkhaya½ nibb±na½ katama½? Maggena kh²yanakakiles± katame? Maggo katama½ kilesakkhaya½ nibb±na½ ±rammaºa½ katv± katame kilese khepeti? Tasm± m± eva½ gaºha. Nibb±na½ pana ±gamma r±g±dayo kh²º±ti ekameva nibb±na½ r±gakkhayo dosakkhayo mohakkhayoti vuccati. T²ºipi het±ni nibb±nasseva adhivacan±n²’ti.
Eva½ vutte evam±ha– ‘tva½ ±gamma ±gamm±ti vades²’ti? ‘¾ma vadem²’ti. ‘¾gamma n±m±ti ida½ te kuto laddhan’ti? ‘Suttato laddhan’ti ‘¾hara suttan’ti. “Eva½ avijj± ca taºh± ca ta½ ±gamma, tamhi kh²º±, tamhi bhagg±, na ca kiñci kad±c²”ti. Eva½ vutte parav±d² tuºh²bh±va½ ±pannoti.
